Zara's lawyers deny collecting donations for legal fees
Published on: Thu, Aug 21, 2025 Text Size: The legal counsel - Cynthia D Baga/Daily Express KOTA KINABALU: Lawyers representing the mother of the late Zara Qairina clarified that viral bank account numbers linked to their client were misleading They stressed that she is neither collecting donations for herself nor to cover legal fees.
Advertisement They said the accounts were previously used to receive public contributions shortly after Zara's death, but have since been closed. 'Any future donations would only be accepted in person by our client or through an authorised NGO.
