How can the Boston Celtics change their play style next season?
When you look at the current roster, it's clear that there isn't the same level of two-way talent as in recent years. As such, Joe Mazzulla may need to adapt his style of play if he wants to get the best out of his new-look team. After all, Jaylen Brown, who is expected to be the primary offensive option, is at his best when attacking downhill or working out of the mid-block; he is not a catch-and-shoot or pull-up threat from deep.
During a recent discussion between "Felger and Mazz" on 98.5 The Sports Hub, Michael Felger and Tony Massarotti discussed whether Joe Mazzulla will need to adjust his team's style of play for the upcoming season. Because, as currently constructed, it's unlikely that the roster will be able to execute the style of basketball we've become used to watching from the Celtics.

Injuries won't subside for the Orioles. Eflin and Bautista the latest to be ruled out for the season
BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles have ruled out two more pitchers for the season. Right-hander Zach Eflin needs a lower back procedure, and closer Félix Bautista has what manager Tony Mansolino called a 'significant' shoulder injury. Mansolino said Tuesday that Bautista has an appointment later this week, and the team will have another update soon. Entering Tuesday's game against Seattle, the Orioles had used 58 players. The team record is 62 from 2021, when Baltimore lost 110 games. 'This has felt like this for a while this year,' Mansolino said. 'It's just something that we've kind of had to take on throughout the year." The Orioles came into 2025 with questions about their pitching, and injuries have only made the situation worse. Grayson Rodriguez (elbow) had surgery and will end up missing the entire season. Eflin, a pending free agent, has made only 14 starts with a 5.93 ERA. Bautista returned from Tommy John surgery after missing all of last year. He produced 19 saves and a 2.60 ERA, but Mansolino's comments on him sounded ominous. The Orioles could get a bit of help soon. Right-handers Tyler Wells and Kyle Bradish are both almost back from elbow surgery. Bears LB Noah Sewell discussed goal-line stop vs. Dolphins
Early in Sunday's preseason matchup against the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears linebacker Noah Sewell, competing for a starting job, made a statement with his play. In the first quarter, as the Dolphins were threatening at the goal line and knocking on the door of scoring a touchdown, Sewell fired through the gap on fourth down and logged a tackle for loss, forcing a turnover on downs. Sewell's play kept the game scoreless early on and put an emphasis on his performance as he competes for the third linebacker spot alongside veterans T.J. Edwards and Tremaine Edmunds. Ending the game with six total tackles, Sewell's one tackle for loss came in one of the most crucial moments in the early stages of the game as he slammed the door on Miami's offense. Following the game, Sewell discussed his goal line stop and how the defense's mentality helped prepare him for that moment. "I knew what kind of situation we were in," Sewell said, via Bears on CHSN. "I was like somebody has to step up, why can't it be me? I just saw the gap open up and I shot my shot. After that play happened I just blacked out and celebrated, everyone was telling me good play, and then I remembered that it was a fourth down stop. Day in and day out, we attack the day the same. Physicality is highly preached in our defensive room so I just try to uphold that." Sewell's performance should give him an upper hand in the battle for the third linebacker spot early in preseason, and his development could be a fun surprise throughout this season.
