Imagine—a film dominated by Rajinikanth's larger-than-life presence, and featuring a brief yet explosive cameo by Taare Zameen Par's Aamir Khan in the final 15-minute scene. I bet it would be a high-voltage jolt of energy fans won't forget anytime soon. Pinkvilla has exclusively learned that last 15 minutes of Coolie will be filled with massy, action-packed moments between Aamir and Rajinikanth. Aamir will enter the narrative with a bang, leading to one of the most intense face-offs in recent times.
Sources close to the production revealed, ' Coolie will feature a power-packed action and confrontation sequence Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan. Known for his perfectionism, Bollywood actor had 10-day shoot schedule for Coolie for the scene that is beyond a mere cameo. The two icons will share screen space in a mass-loaded face-off, filled with intense dialogues, and gripping action.' The murmurs on the sets were that a high-voltage 15-minute scene would be described as one of the film's biggest highlights. The entire climax of the film has been shot in Rajasthan.
When these two titans will collide onscreen, it won't be just a scene but a celebration!
Rajinikanth teams up for the first time with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Coolie is one of 2025's most anticipated films. Slated for release on August 14, Coolie is made on a massive Rs 350 crore budget and has locked record-breaking pre-release deals. The Tamil film is positioned to dominate box offices this year, on Independence Day weekend.
Is Coolie connected to LCU?
Lokesh Kanagaraj previously confirmed that Coolie is a standalone film and will not be part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU).
Coolie gets a new title for Hindi version
Rajinikanth's Coolie is reportedly title, Majdoor in Hindi. The makers had to change the name of the film for Hindi version as 3 Bollywood films already have Coolie as their title- Amitabh Bachchan's Coolie (1983), Varun Dhawan's Coolie No. 1 (2020) and Govinda's Coolie No. 1 (1995).
Chikitu Song
Composed by Anirudh Ravichander and lyrics by Arivu, Chikitu is high on beats and a tribute to Rajinikanth fans. The catchy phrase 'Chikitu Chikitu Chikitu Vibe' quickly became really popular and stuck in people's heads now.

Sitaare Zameen Par Day 6 India Box Office: Aamir Khan led feel good dramedy adds healthy Rs 7.25 crore to it's domestic tally

Sitaare Zameen Par directed by RS Prasanna and starring Aamir Khan, Genelia Deshmukh and others, registered a healthy Wednesday, putting up a hefty Rs 7.25 crore net. The weekday drops for the Aamir Khan feature are not too big, indicating a good, strong run ahead. The 6 day cume of Sitaare Zameen Par stands at Rs 82 crore and the week should close with roughly Rs 88.5-89 crore. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Sitaare Zameen Par Are As Under Day India Net Collections 1 Rs 10.50 crore 2 Rs 20 crore 3 Rs 26.25 crore 4 Rs 8.50 crore 5 Rs 8.50 crore 6 Rs 7.25 crore Total Rs 82 crore net in 6 days Sitaare Zameen Par Shall Net Around Rs 89 Crore In India In Week 1; To Compete With Few New Releases In The Coming Week Sitaare Zameen Par welcomes a few new rivals in the form of F1, Kannappa and Maa. However, the RS Prasanna directorial may well be the week's number 1 option given the momentum that it is carrying and considering that the other abovementioned movies cater to a much smaller set of audience. It is in the week after, with the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth and Metro... In Dino that things get tighter. However, Sitaare Zameen Par will have managed most of its business by then. Sitaare Zameen Par Crosses USD 4 Million Internationally Internationally, Sitaare Zameen Par has crossed the USD 4 million mark in 6 days. For the low start of the movie, it is legging out pretty well. However, the weekday trend doesn't suggest a major breakout that the weekend trend was suggesting. The movie seemed to struggle for a USD 2 million weekend but it packed a little over USD 3 million instead. It is to be seen if the movie can get to USD 10 million in its full run (first phase of international release) or not. For Aamir Khan, USD 10 million international cume is not anything unfamiliar since his films from 15 years back have also breached that number. The second phase of international release, if it happens, will be interesting to keep an eye on. Sitaare Zameen Par Crosses Laal Singh Chaddha Globally Sitaare Zameen Par has crossed Laal Singh Chaddha at the worldwide box office. The 2022 Independence day release had grossed slightly over Rs 130 crore worldwide and Sitaare Zameen Par has gone past that. While it is not right to compare a disastrous performer with a film that's doing pretty well for itself, it makes sense in this case because the former is a lower budgeted flick and above that, it is also a post-pandemic drama genre movie; which holds limited theatrical appeal. "Listening is most powerful parenting tool": Kajol gets candid before 'Maa' release

As she gears up for the release of her mythological horror debut 'Maa', actress Kajol opens up about a different kind of fear--one that every mother knows too well. As she gears up for the release of her mythological horror debut 'Maa', actress Kajol opens up about a different kind of fear--one that every mother knows too well. In a conversation with ANI, she shared her perspective on motherhood, the delicate balance between protection and independence, and the deeply personal experiences that resonate with her latest role. When asked how she balances protecting her children and allowing them to face their own fears, Kajol reflected with the grounded wisdom of experience: "My children are much older now. I have taught them a lot of skills. So now I will have to trust my upbringing. Look, I have taught you for so long, now it's time for you to learn your lesson and to practise it." It's a philosophy of parenting that echoes the essence of 'Maa'--a film about a mother fighting ancient evils to protect her daughter. But in real life, Kajol believes parenting teenagers is as much about listening as it is about guiding. "Sometimes just listening to them makes them also see your point of view and makes you also see their point of view. So, I guess listening is the most powerful parenting tool," she said. Speaking about the most vulnerable period of motherhood, Kajol offered a moving reflection. "The first day that the child is born in this world is the first day that the mother is born in the world as well." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Books Warren Buffett Wants You to Read In 2025 Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo Describing those initial few months as the toughest, Kajol revealed the immense pressure mothers face to prove their worth, both to themselves and to the world. "There's a pressure on a mother that... no one can question me whether I am a good mother or not. You have to do superhuman things like not sleeping for six months and still have a happy face," Kajol said. In a way, that relentless strength mirrors her upcoming role in 'Maa', where Kajol plays a mother confronting supernatural forces rooted in mythology, grief, and legacy. Directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jio Studios, 'Maa' is a unique entry in Indian cinema. The film marks Kajol's first foray into the horror genre and brings with it a compelling narrative: a mother-daughter road trip gone horribly wrong after they encounter a cursed tree haunted by ancient spirits. With a stellar cast featuring Ronit Roy , Indraneil Sengupta , Yaaneea Bharadwaj , and Surjyasikha Das, Maa blends mythology and horror to deliver a gripping emotional journey. The film is slated to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali on June 27, 2025.

Rahul Bose reveals his mother slapped him every day for 5 years, forced him to play Rugby: ‘I was useless, it helped me'

Rahul Bose credits his unconventional upbringing for shaping his perspective. Rahul Bose , a seasoned actor in Hindi cinema for nearly 30 years, recently reflected on how his parents' unconventional approach to gender roles influenced his perspective. Growing up in such an environment helped him develop a deeper awareness and a more thoughtful understanding of the world around him. Unconventional Upbringing The actor recently shared with ANI how his parents defied traditional gender roles in their household. His father was more focused on grooming and appearance, whereas his mother prioritized her career and took on roles typically seen as masculine. He said, 'I was woke way before the word came up because my mother never cooked, my father cooked. My mother slapped me every day for 5 years. I was such a nikamma (useless) that it only helped me. And you can't say that these days but believe me I was such a nikamma those days that it only helped. She forced me to play Rugby and box.' Father's Apprehension Bose recalled how his father reacted to his passion for physically demanding sports. He said, 'I boxed in school and my father was appalled. He wanted me to wear a cap so that I wouldn't get too dark in the sun. He wanted me to play cricket and be a gentleman. He saw me playing rugby and never looked at the field when he would walk in.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 Top Trending Local Enterprise Accounting Software [Click Here] Accounting ERP Click Here Undo A Product of Contrasts He shared how the contrasting roles of his parents played a significant part in shaping who he is today.
