4-star OL Zykie Helton announces commitment
Four-star offensive lineman Zykie Helton has committed to the Georgia Buldlogs over the Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State Seminoles and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Helton was previously committed to Alabama from July 2023 to March 2024.
The 6-foot-2, 290-pound interior offensive lineman plays high school football for Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. Helton is the No. 31 interior offensive lineman in the class of 2026, per Rivals. The Carrollton star is the No. 54 recruit in Georgia. The 247Sports Composite ranks Helton as the No. 457 recruit in the country.
Helton joins three-star offensive lineman Zachary Lewis in committing to Georgia football this week. Helton is Georgia's 14th commitment in the class of 2026. The Bulldogs now have the nation's No. 5 recruiting class after Helton's decision.
Helton announced his commitment to Georgia via social media. He joins Carrollton star wide receiver Ryan Mosley in committing to the Bulldogs.
Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia have three offensive line commitments in the class of 2026 in Helton, Lewis and four-star offensive tackle Graham Houston. The Bulldogs have the best recruiting class in the SEC.

The four-star prospect is also considered as the No. 13 overall player in the state of Georgia. Alabama's 2026 recruiting class currently ranks No. 49 nationally according to the 247Sports Team Rankings with only six commitments. Of those six, three come from the state of Georgia, while two are edge rushers in four-star's Jamarion Matthews and Kamhariyan Johnson, the latter of which recently shut down his recruitment. Georgia football offers trio of international recruits The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to three-star edge rusher Gustaf Henriks Ras, who is a member of the class of 2026. Georgia is the 10th Division I program to offer Ras. The 6-foot-4, 235-pound edge rusher also plays tight end for his high school. Ras is unique because he is from Stockholm, Sweden. He plays football for RIG Academy and is the top ranked recruit in Sweden. He's ranked as the No. 69 edge rusher in the class of 2026. Ras has recent scholarship offers from Liberty, Boise State, South Carolina, Ole Miss and more. He is an impressive athlete with a long wingspan. Ras grew up playing ice hockey. Ras impressed Georgia coaches at UGA's camp and was one of multiple international prospects that Georgia offered. The Bulldogs also offered one of Ras' high school teammates in Adrian Bekibele. More on Adrian Bekibele Bekibele is a three-star recruit in the class of 2026 as well. He plays defensive line and has good size. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman is the No. 110 player at his position in the class of 2026. Bekibele is Sweden's second-best recruit behind Ras. The three-star has excellent mobility at his size. UGA offers Marvin Nguetsop Georgia offered 6-foot-7, 275-pound German defensive lineman Marvin Nguetsop, who is a member of the class of 2027. The Bulldogs offered Nguetsop after impressing in camp. Michigan later offered the talented defender.

During an interview Thursday on WEEI's 'The Greg Hill Show,' Lia Anthony gushed over her 'unreal experience' at Fenway and said it's been 'crazy' to see her Instagram followers jump from 3,000 to more than 14,000. 'Wow, I mean it's been surreal,' said Lia, a recent graduate of Florida State University. She also quipped, 'It's crazy… I've gotten quite a few DMs since that night.'
