Noel Edmonds' 'true personality' revealed by New Zealand neighbour
The former Deal or No Deal presenter now owns an estate with a vineyard in New Zealand, which will be featured in a new ITV documentary series.
Noel Edmonds ' off-camera personality has been revealed by a woman who worked with him on his River Haven estate in Ngatimoti, New Zealand. The presenter left the UK in 2019 after being voted out of I'm A Celebrity, and bought a £15m estate in New Zealand complete with 12 properties including a pub and his own vineyard.
Edmonds' estate will be featured in a new ITV docuseries, Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure, which will see the former Deal or No Deal presenter hard at work and making his new life on the other side of the world. Julie Crook, who lives nearby the River Haven estate but is originally from the UK, worked with Noel on his vineyard after she volunteered to help him harvest his grapes.
Their time on the vineyard was followed by cameras for the ITV series, where Edmonds' TV personality shone through. But Julie said that Noel was just as nice when the cameras were turned off.
"He doesn't put it on just for the camera, he's just a really nice guy. While we were working on the vineyard, he was giving us water and ice pops, and he got to know everybody's name and even when you go to the Bugger Inn for a meal, he'll just come over and just have a chat whether you know him or not, and some Kiwis don't even know that he's a celebrity.
"He doesn't shy away from hard work either, he was getting his hands dirty."
Julie also addressed the backlash that Noel and his purchase of River Haven has been receiving since he moved.
Some locals have even claimed that the star is 'colonising' the small Kiwi village of just 2.500 people, after he spent £15 million on the expansive estate of 12 properties.
Julie said: "I disagree with what the press and locals are saying, because they just don't get it.
"I think what he is doing is great, because this is a tourist area, because it's on the way to the Abel Tasman.
"It's just bringing tourism into Ngatimoti, which is where his vineyard is, and it's a little rural village.
"He even donated $10,000 to the local school because they were in debt, he is so nice."
She admitted that the "clever" TV personality has a very dry sense of humour, which Kiwis don't tend to understand.
She said: "They don't get him and as an immigrant from the UK, we have the English banter so I understand it, and Kiwis don't get that sense of humour, and it can come across as a bit weird to them."
Fans can tune into Noel and his wife Liz integrating with the locals in the first episode of their new docuseries, with some special moments including him describing his wellness routine, his golden statue outside of his pub and Noel revealing he "was an emperor in a past life".
The first episode of Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventure aired on ITV1 and ITVX on Friday, June 20.

It followed rugby lad Conor making an effort in recent days to pursue her, despite having a close relationship with existing partner Emily. He found himself picked last tonight by Welsh beauty Emily, who gave him a glowing assessment even though they've had a rocky few days. But it quickly became clear that Conor now only sees it as a friendship couple and remains determined to win Megan, later telling her that he'd pick her if another recoupling took place. The Irish lass said the situation was difficult and she still wanted to share a bed with Tommy but jokingly asked: "Can we be in throuple?" At the weekend, Megan and Tommy's seemingly solid relationship was tested properly for the first time this series in a game of spin the bottle. Conor acted out his favourite sex position with the girl he thought was best in bed, choosing Megan. It raised eyebrows from Emily, who said if he keeps going on the way he is he'll never find out about her bedroom skills. She then licked Ben from head to toe in a saucy dare, with an irked Conor simply saying she only chose Ben because he'd chosen Megan previously. All the while, Tommy was sat stewing after learning Megan said she had "unfinished business" with Conor. 4 Megan is playing it cool and insists Tommy is still her number one 4 Tommy admitted he finds Emily attractive Credit: ITV

Love Island fans rumble Helena's true feelings for Harry after split
Helena ended things with Harry after she found out he had kissed Yasmin three times in the Hideaway behind her back, but after she pulled him aside for a difficult discussion viewers think they know how she really feels about her former flame Tensions have escalated in the Love Island villa with Helena Ford set to confront Harry Cooksley for what she wants to be the final time tonight, and fans think they have worked out her true feelings towards him. In tonight's (23 June) dramatic episode of the ITV reality show, the Islanders faced another recoupling ceremony where the girls got to choose who they wanted to couple up with this time. After Helena decided to move on with somebody else, she took Harry aside for a difficult chat where she let him know exactly where she stands after his sneaking around in the Hideaway. She told him: "I know we said yesterday we'd be friends but I can't be your mate in here, you've not even apologised for anything that you've done." Harry attempted to explain his actions, saying: "I thought it was too good, I've done it in the past where I self-sabotage because I think it's too good to be true. I'm 30 years old I get it, I'm not making excuses, but all I've ever seen is things with an expiry date." But Helena stood strong, replying: "It's done now, you can't go back on it. I can't really be around you right now." While she appeared quite upset by how Harry had treated her, and seemed on the verge of tears as she walked away from their conversation, fans thought this exchange proved that she doesn't actually care about him and is only jealous that he has moved on to someone new. One fan took to X, saying: "I see right through Helena and her jealousy for Shakira, you only want Harry now cause he's moved onto Shakira." Another agreed: "Helena doesn't even like Harry. Her ego just can't handle that he chose Shakira over her." A third chimed in, adding: "I don't want to hear Helena slag Shakira off today for being with Harry. I hope she keeps her anger directed at Harry." The conversation with Helena left Harry visibly emotional, and Dejon later tried to comfort him, saying: "I'm gonna pray tonight and hope there's a miracle you two can get back together." But a despondent Harry replied: "There ain't no me and Helena. I've got to forget about it for now." Helena's announcement that she is no longer willing to even be around Harry comes after she was shocked by the discovery that Harry snuck off to the Hideaway with Yasmin, where they shared three kisses. He initially denied the extent of what happened, which led to him being berated by one of the girls in the villa. After it came out that Harry had been dishonest about how many times he locked lips with Yasmin, Megan put him on blast, shouting: "You owe it to Helena to be f****** honest, you p****… Grow a pair of b******* mate, honestly, grow the f*** up." Harry's rollercoaster experience in the Love Island villa has even been criticised by his own mum, who joked that she has "disowned him" multiple times while watching the ITV dating show during her appearance on Aftersun. When show host Maya Jama asked her how she felt watching his behaviour live on telly, she groaned: "I've disowned him. On more than one occasion. Harry who? Harry who? Oh my God, it just rolls off his tongue, I don't know. How can you forget the camera's on you?"

Coronation Street fans reeling over abrupt exit as they 'wish actor the best'
Coronation Street confirmed an offscreen exit for one character on the ITV soap on Monday with no final scenes set to air after the news an actor has left the show Some Coronation Street fans were shocked by an exit that aired rather abruptly on Monday night. An offscreen departure was confirmed for one character weeks after they were last onscreen. There was no announcement about the character or the actor playing them that confirmed an exit was due. Instead, The Mirror confirmed last week that the star in question had left the role and finished filming. We were told by an insider that Bobby Crawford actor Jack Carroll has already finished filming on the show, and his last scenes had already aired. There was no big exit for the actor or his character with him quietly leaving the show, while Bobby's recent decision to flee was thought to be temporary at the time. Now it's been confirmed that Bobby's trip abroad is in fact his exit plot, as he will not return to the show. His exit was announced in scenes on Monday night during a conversation with Betsy Swain and Lauren Bolton. They seemed as shocked as viewers were over the abrupt exit confirmation, with fans stunned that there would be no final scenes or goodbye from the character. Betsy confirmed that Bobby was not coming back and was gone for good. Viewers watching the moment were a bit stunned, given how quietly the character departed with nothing said. Not even his aunt Carla Connor acknowledged it with the chat with Betsy and Lauren being his exit announcement. While many fans had seen the news confirmed last week, others did not and even those that knew Jack had left the role didn't expect Bobby's exit to be as low key as it was. Taking to social media, one fan said: "Just watching todays episode and Lauren just spoke with Betsy, and Betsy just said 'Bobby's not coming back'. WTF is he just written out like that then? I didn't mind Bobby. A little boring but I didn't mind him when he first came and was getting to know his aunty Carla lol. Anyways who else is leaving I don't know about?!" Another fan said: "Most unceremonious exit of all time. Can't say I'll miss him but I do wish Jack Carroll the best in whatever he does next. A third viewer added: "Bobby!" A further comment read: "Quietest exit ever?" as another said: "I wasn't his biggest fan but kind of surprised that this is how he left, guess he won't be back for the inevitable Swarla wedding." A final comment read: "Such a low key exit that we never noticed he didn't return." Last year, fans were left puzzled regarding the whereabouts of the character with some believing he had secretly quit the show then. He featured quite heavily in the soap earlier in the year and then suddenly disappeared with no mention of where he was. It's now been confirmed that Bobby has made his exit from the soap, although the door has been left open for a return. A source told The Mirror: "Bobby has had a dramatic couple of years on the cobbles, but the time has come to bid farewell. "Actor Jack enjoyed his time on the soap, but it's time to move on. Viewers won't see the character exit the street as he's already left, with Jack filming his final scenes some time ago." "The door has been left open for Jack should he wish to come back to the show in the future. With his Aunty Carla there, Bobby will always have a place in Weatherfield." The character was last seen in the soap last month when he headed off to Spain to visit Simon Barlow. The trip came after he was accused of being Lauren Bolton's blackmailer.
