Anne Burrell, the celebrity chef known for hosting the popular culinary show on Food Network, was found unresponsive at her Brooklyn, New York home on Tuesday. Her representatives confirmed her death in a statement to People. The cause of death of the 55-year-old has not been revealed yet, however, an investigation is ongoing. Surprisingly, Anne looked quite happy and healthy just days before she passed. On June 12, just five days earlier, she posted a selfie with the Green Lady of Brooklyn, a local NYC woman known for dressing in all green. According to a New York Police Department spokesperson, emergency services arrived as soon as the body was found, but the TV star was pronounced dead at the scene.

'Anne was a beloved wife, sister, daughter, stepmother, and friend,' her family said in a statement. 'Her smile lit up every room she entered. Anne's light radiated far beyond those she knew, touching millions across the world. Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.'
Anne had been a fixture on Worst Cooks in America since 2010. But when the latest season (Season 28) of the celebrity edition came out earlier this year, she was missing. Chefs Jeff Mauro and Antonia Lofaso were seen running the show, and no updates about Burrell were given. Fans immediately noticed the change, and the network's comment section was filled with backlash and demands for an explanation, asking why she wasn't on the show. Anne herself replied to a few of them, but her answers were vague. To one comment, she said, 'Honestly, I don't know.' When someone else asked if she was still with the Food Network, she replied, 'I miss you guys!.' She even said, 'I will SO try,' when a fan asked her to come back next season.

Food Network also released a statement, honouring her legacy and said, 'Anne was a remarkable person and culinary talent – teaching, competing and always sharing the importance of food in her life and the joy that a delicious meal can bring. Our thoughts are with Anne's family, friends and fans during this time of tremendous loss.'
Burrell, in her last selfie, wrote that she had been hoping to run into Brooklyn's Green Lady for a while now and even joked about following her down the street just to say hi. 'I'm not going to lie— I have been keeping an eye out for her. I may or may not have followed her down the street for a minute. She is just lovely!!! #ilovewhatido #luckygirl,' she captioned the picture. She looked upbeat in the photo, wearing a floral top, sunglasses, and her blonde hair. That same day, she also took to her Instagram to post a picture of her with two fellow chefs, Elizabeth Falkner and Franklin Becker, at Soho House, New York. 'SUUUUUUPER yummy with a great group of people.'
Burrell's upbeat personality, beyond her cooking shows and public life, was well-known. Earlier this month, she invited fans to an improv comedy show she was part of through Second City. Anne has a husband, Stuart Claxton (whom she married in 2021), her stepson Javier, her mom Marlene, and her siblings Jane and Ben.

Shah Rukh Khan's King to feature Hindi song by Ed Sheeran in singer's Bollywood debut? Here's the 'proof'

Ed Sheeran is this close to getting an Aadhar card, the internet believes. The English singer-songwriter has seen his popularity surge in India over the last year, courtesy of his tour. And now, his new single - Sapphire - which sees him collaborate with Arijit Singh and features a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan, has taken it a notch higher. But wait, bigger things may still be in the offing for Ed. The singer is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Don't believe it? Hear it from the man himself. (Also read: Shah Rukh Khan waited for Ed Sheeran at home, agreed to do a cameo in his song Sapphire. Watch BTS video) On Tuesday, Ed posted a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the making of Sapphire, in which he talked about how he convinced Shah Rukh to do that cameo for the song. In the video, he could be seen recording some lines in Punjabi as well, and also speaking about singing in Hindi. A fan club shared that clip on Instagram and wrote, "Can't wait for the full Punjabi version 😍😍 Check out the behind the scenes on Ed's YouTube Channel! Ed said Hindi version in that video, so I'm not sure if the other version of the song will be Hindi or Punjabi now!" Ed himself responded to the post and clarified that the Hindi song was actually for a film starring Shah Rukh Khan. "The Hindi song was for a Bollywood movie SRK is doing, this is the Punjabi version of Sapphire with Arijit. I'm just doing all languages at this point," he wrote. The comment had fans curious. "Which Hindi song? When is it coming out?" asked one. Another wondered if the song was for King, the film Shah Rukh is filming right now. "In king?" read the comment. King is the only film Shah Rukh is working on right now. The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, marks the actor's first on-screen collaboration with daughter Suhana Khan. Also present is a large ensemble cast including Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Arshad Warsi. If Ed's comment was not 'proof' enough, some eagle-eyed internet sleuths noted that in the BTS video for Sapphire, he was hanging out with Siddharth Anand at a recording studio, implying that it may be regarding the song in King. For now, details about the song and its title are unknown. King is currently under production, and there is no release date announced for it.
