Anthony Davis selling palatial LA mansion for nearly $40 million after controversial trade
Mavericks center Anthony Davis has put his eight-bedroom Los Angeles mansion on the market for $39.9 million following his in-season trade from the Lakers, according to TMZ.
Davis, 32, landed in Dallas in February after Los Angeles included him in the shocking Luka Doncic trade.

The palatial 17,254-square-foot estate is located in a gated Bel Air Crest community and has an extensive list of amenities.
The home features an elevator, game room, home gym, barber shop, lounge, theater, wet bar, wine cellar, tennis court, Olympic-sized pool, outdoor kitchen and even a batting cage, per TMZ.
The residence is also said to include a wellness center that boasts a plunge tub and sauna.
The property even includes a next-level children's playhouse with its own heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, according to the outlet.

Davis did not expect to leave Los Angeles, but Texas is now his new professional home.
The 10-time All-Star is under contract with the Mavericks for two more seasons and has a $62.8 million player option for the 2027-28 season before he becomes a free agent.

Davis' 2024-25 season saw him limited to 51 games due to injuries, including just nine with the Mavericks following the controversial trade.
He averaged 24.7 points and 11.6 rebounds per game.
The Mavericks are hoping a healthy Davis and No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg can help erase some of the fans' ill feelings toward the Doncic maneuver and help return the franchise to contender status.
Davis underwent offseason surgery for a detached retina in his right eye that ailed him during the regular season. He is expected to be ready for training camp, per ESPN.
He posted a cryptic emoji-only message to his Instagram Story Thursday, featuring just a sighing emoji and praying hands.

The Warriors will always be big fish hunting. As long as they have Steph Curry, they're gonna big fish hunt. If when Steph Curry is gone, they're gonna big fish hunt because they need to replace Steph Curry, which is impossible because Steph Curry is a unicorn. But like, the point is, if Giannis, sure, it would be crazy if they weren't trying for him, right? Can you imagine putting Giannis with Steph? And so going for big fish, 100%. So, I would just say that like for them with the Kaminga situation and everything, while Steph Curry is, I mean, just an absolute legend, one of the greatest players of all time, it is difficult to play with him sometimes, not because he's difficult. But his movement is so unique out there. So with Jonathan Kaminga in these situations, it should, it can be difficult to adapt to a Steph Curry. If you don't adapt on the fly, and for these young players, that's why you see so many maybe not necessarily work out with the Warriors sometimes and they have to go for veterans because they understand the game has already slowed down, they have to understand that movement a little bit more, but again, playing with Steph Curry is such a unique experience for these players, you need the right fits for that. It's clear to me that if the Warriors do indeed keep Jonathan Kaminga, they want to be able to trade Jonathan Kaminga. It's one of those random situations where leverage is left to all sides, because in one world, you'd assume a Jonathan Kaminga a couple of years ago would have gone a huge contract this year from a team, but no team has cap space. Only one team had cap space enough to give him the money he wanted, right? So now you're talking sign and trades, and sign and trades are not the same anymore because now most teams are limited in what you can do with a sign and trade. Kaminga could try to delay a year and get the qualifying offer because there's going to be much more cap space the following year. But I'm sure in his mind it's like, well, what if I don't play well or don't mesh well again or something happens? And so, and the Warriors meantime are trying to win, and they're like, hey, we, if you are all in. We can try to win with you for now, but we do recognize that this is not the perfect fit. It's just like a whole interesting situation where just no one has leverage. Close

Micah Parsons has not practiced at Cowboys training camp this summer, but he has been in attendance in street clothes while his teammates go through drills. That changed on Thursday, however. Reporters at the practice noted that Parsons was absent from the workout. Those reporters also noted that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is not at practice either, which sparks thoughts that there may be talks going on about the contract extension that Parsons has been trying to land for a long time. Parsons did make a post to his Instagram story while practice was going on, but it was a repost of someone else from several days ago so it offered no clue as to his location. There's no word about the reason for either absence and contract talks are only one possibility, but anything that leads to an agreement would be a welcome development for Cowboys fans who want to see Parsons at full strength for the start of the regular season.
