‘Single Riders': New dating app for Disney lovers in development
One of the developers posted a TikTok about the idea for an app where people could connect over their shared passion for theme parks, calling it 'Single Riders.'
The developer, who goes by @joethebeardednerd on TikTok, said the app won't just be for dating, but also for meeting like-minded friends to join your Disney adventures.
They'll start looking for beta testers sometime this year, the developer said.
Interested users were invited to share ideas or features they'd like to see in the app.
'I go to the parks alone and it would be AWESOME to have a feature that shows if other singles are at the parks at the same time,' one user wrote.

Chicagoans chow down to celebrate National Hot Dog Day
Summertime is peak hot dog season, according to the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Americans eat 7 billion hot dogs. Chicago is number four on the list of top hot dog-consuming cities — and plenty of Chicagoans were enjoying hot dogs on Wednesday, whether they knew it was National Hot Dog Day or not. Relish Hot Dogs can be found at Michigan Avenue and Jackson Drive in Grant Park, right across the street from the Art Institute of Chicago. The first item on the menu is the all-beef original Chicago hot dog — with mustard, relish, onion, tomato, a pickle spear, sport peppers, and celery salt — on a poppyseed bun of course. "Ketchup available on request," the menu says. But to many Chicagoans, adding ketchup to a Chicago hot dog is less appealing than a sardine sundae. Every order at Relish Hot Dogs counted as a celebration this National Hot Dog Day. It is a day Relish Hot Dogs owner Michelle Olszanski… relishes. "It is a holy holiday here in Chicago, because we do have the best hot dogs around," she said. The Godfreys from Minneapolis were enjoying Chicago hot dogs for the first time. It may soon become a tradition. "It's like a crunchy hot dog, 'cause it has like all like the pickles," said Evy Godfrey, 10. "Three bites and it's gone," said Auggie Godfrey, 15. "Yeah, I'm trying to savor it," said Vilu Godfrey, 12. But for exchange student François Delestrade of the Toulouse area in France, setting aside an entire day to honor hot dogs is a bit of a foreign concept. "Yeah, it's good, but I prefer French gastronomy," Delestrade said. Well, who wouldn't like French gastronomy? But in Chicago, one must indulge. And let's be honest — National Hot Dog Day is a holiday Chicago can celebrate any day.

Jane's Addiction bandmates sue each other over onstage fight that ended tour
LOS ANGELES — The members of alternative rock band Jane's Addiction filed dueling lawsuits Wednesday over singer Perry Farrell's onstage scuffle with guitarist Dave Navarro at a Boston concert last year, prompting the cancellation of the rest of their reunion tour and a planned album. Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery sued Farrell in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking at least $10 million, alleging that Farrell's behavior on the tour had ranged from erratic to out-of-control, culminating in the assault, where Perry punched Navarro both on stage and backstage.

Comedian Shane Gillis cracks Caitlin Clark Waffle House joke at ESPYs
Comedian Shane Gillis was tapped to host the ESPYs on Wednesday night, and he had a crass zinger for Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark during one of his opening monologues. Gillis, who is also an actor on the Netflix series "Tires," had a little something for everyone while he was on stage in Los Angeles. Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders were also among the targets. But Gillis mapped out Clark's future after she's finished with the WNBA. "When Caitlin Clark retires from the WNBA, she's going to work at a Waffle House so she can continue doing what she loves most — fist-fighting Black women," he said to polite laughter from the crowd. Clark was not at the ESPYs on Wednesday as she continues to be evaluated following an apparent injury during the team's win over the Connecticut Sun. She came off the floor on Tuesday night clutching her upper leg and was seen on the bench in tears. The Fever star was set to be a captain in the All-Star game and take part in the 3-point shooting contest. But all of that seemed up in the air. "No discussion yet about this weekend," Fever head coach Stephanie White said on Wednesday night. "There was imaging done, and, obviously, we're ruling her out for tonight, but there hasn't been any discussion beyond tonight." Clark sustained a groin injury late in the fourth quarter of Indiana's win over the Sun in Boston Tuesday night. White said she did not believe it was a "reinjury." Clark missed time in May due to a quad injury and was recently sidelined for five games with a left groin strain. "I'm not really sure that it's a reinjury as much as a different kind of injury. I know oftentimes when you're working with injuries in the groin and the quad and the hamstring and all of those things, there's just — they're all kind of tied together, and it's not always just one thing."
