Rajkumar Yadav was serving in Gehlot's security during his tenure as chief minister and continued as his PSO after the BJP came to power in the state. He has also previously been PSO to former Cabinet minister Mahendrajit Malviya. Both the accused have been sent to police remand till August 12, he added.
Speaking about the arrest of the PSO, Gehlot in a post on X said, "It has come to light through the media that a head constable of Jaipur Police Line and his son deployed for my security have been detained by the SOG. If any person is involved in any crime, the law should do its job. I hope that the SOG will investigate this case without any pressure and reach a logical conclusion."
According to the police, the PSO was acquainted with Malviya's then personal secretary, Kundan Kumar Pandya, who is accused of obtaining the leaked SI recruitment paper from then Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) member Babulal Katara. Pandya allegedly passed the paper to two associates, one of whom was Rajkumar Yadav.

Pandya was arrested by the SOG on June 5 in connection with the same case.
The SOG has been probing the high profile recruitment exam leak case, which has led to several arrests of government officials and intermediaries.
The RPSC had in 2021 advertised 859 posts for sub-inspector and platoon commander. When the allegations of a paper leak surfaced during the exam, the government handed over the investigation to the SOG of Rajasthan Police, the official said.
More than 120 accused, including 54 trainee sub-inspectors allegedly involved in the paper leak, have been arrested, an official statement said.
The Rajasthan government had last year formed a Cabinet sub-committee to take a decision to whether cancel the exam or not. The committee submitted in the high court that the investigation into the case is still ongoing, so it would not be right to cancel the exam.

Jaipur: The Special Operations Group (SOG) is investigating several more probationer sub-inspectors (SIs) after arresting head constable Rajkumar Yadav a day earlier for allegedly securing the 2021 SI recruitment exam paper in advance for his son. Officials suspect Yadav was in contact with various candidates before the exam. According to sources, Yadav also provided the leaked paper to the son of milkman Ravindra Saini, from whom he regularly bought milk, and to Satyendra Singh Yadav, an acquaintance. Both cleared the exam with top scores and joined the police training academy. While Satyendra was arrested on Friday, Saini remains on the run. Sources said that Yadav was furious when he learned that his son Bharat failed to clear the physical test while Satyendra and Saini managed to clear it. "We have already arrested Yadav and his son. Yadav was posted as head constable in the security detail of former chief minister Ashok Gehlot," said an official. The investigation revealed that Pandya, after acquiring the paper, first handed it to his daughter Riddhi, then to his niece Neha and nephew Naitik. All three were arrested last month. Officials said Yadav's modus operandi closely followed that of Pandya. "Pandya first gave the question papers to his daughter, niece, and nephews, and then he sold it to others. This raises suspicions about whether Yadav was also working on the same lines," said the official. SOG books 123 govt teachers for unfair means to get jobs
Jaipur: Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan Police registered an FIR against 123 govt schoolteachers, appointed through competitive exams such as REET over the past five years, for allegedly securing their jobs through fraudulent means. ADG (SOG) VK Singh said the FIR, filed last week, is part of a statewide drive to identify individuals who obtained govt jobs in the past five years using forged documents, backdated degrees, leaked exam papers, or impersonators. Officials said a significant number of the suspects belong to a single district in western Rajasthan . The list of teachers was provided by the education department after an internal review raised suspicions about their selection process. "These teachers are accused of using dummy candidates, affixing fake photographs, and employing unfair means to get their papers solved," an official said, requesting anonymity. The FIR invokes various IPC sections relating to cheating and criminal conspiracy, as well as provisions of the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2022. The state govt had earlier directed all departments to review appointments made in the last five years, following a series of high-profile paper leak cases. Acting on this directive, the education department submitted the list of 123 names to the SOG. After a preliminary inquiry, the SOG registered FIRs and launched individual investigations into each case. Officials said more names could emerge as scrutiny continues. "The suspects will be called for questioning, and we have also sought documents they submitted when applying for govt jobs," said an official. Last week, the SOG unearthed a similar racket where 24 govt employees, the majority of them teachers, got appointments after submitting disability certificates.
