Baaghi 4 Teaser Called ‘Cheap Copy' Of Animal; Tiger Shroff Fans Hit Back: ‘Stop Comparing'
Baaghi 4 teaser sparks debate as some viewers call it a 'cheap copy' of Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, while Tiger Shroff fans praise its brutal, high-octane action.
After a five-year break, the Baaghi franchise is back with its fourth chapter, promising a gritty, blood-soaked action spectacle. On August 11, the makers unveiled the teaser for Baaghi 4, featuring Tiger Shroff in his most savage avatar yet. Packed with high-octane combat, explosive set pieces, and raw intensity, the teaser also stars Sonam Bajwa, Harnaaz Sandhu, and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
Baaghi 4 Teaser Sparks 'Animal' Comparisons
While many praised the action choreography and Tiger's fierce presence, several viewers couldn't help but notice similarities with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal. Some fans took to social media to share their disappointment, accusing the makers of copying the 2023 blockbuster. One user wrote, 'Half of it felt like a copy of Animal… It was a disappointment after watching it." Another quipped, 'Animal from Meesho is Baaghi4."

Watched #Baaghi4Teaser. Feels like Animal but without the charm… or the plot… or basically anything except random violence. pic.twitter.com/ZPDL1HzBa5 — Choudhary kapil (@Kapilmalik3011) August 11, 2025
A longtime fan expressed frustration, saying, 'Growing up I was a big fan of Baaghi… but after watching the teaser it feels like a cheap copy of #Animal." Others echoed similar sentiments, calling the film 'Animal inspired".
Tiger Shroff Fans Come to His Defence
Despite the criticism, Tiger's loyal fan base rallied in his support. One user argued, 'Stop comparing #Baaghi4Teaser with Animal… here #Baaghi4 is trying different with pure violence." Another fan gushed, 'Absolutely Brilliant Stuff From Tiger Shroff. BRUTAL. Loved Baaghi 4 Teaser… This is better than so many teasers."
Stop comparing #Baaghi4Teaser with Animal. Animal was the drama based movie and it was not so violence and its action was weak and here #Baaghi4 is try different with pure violence. Even animal is copy of some hollywood movie that no one mention. #TigerShroff #SanjayDutt pic.twitter.com/XDSRE5xuxA — Ronnie (@KuchBhi89) August 11, 2025
The teaser positions Tiger's character, Ronny, as a man consumed by vengeance, leaving no enemy alive in his path. Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa join the cast in unconventional roles, while Sanjay Dutt brings his own brand of menace to the mix.
Directed by A Harsha with story and screenplay by Sajid Nadiadwala, Baaghi 4 promises bone-crushing stunts, relentless combat, and a narrative drenched in fury and chaos. The film is slated to hit theatres on September 4, setting the stage for an intense box office run.
With the teaser already igniting online debates, the real question is whether Baaghi 4 can silence its critics when the full film unleashes its action-packed storm.

Shaktimaan Star Mukesh Khanna Comments On Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, Says Not Sure If 'Ranbir Kapoor Can Pull Off the Maryada Purushottam Image Of Lord Rama'
New Delhi: The Shaktimaan star Mukesh Khanna has played some iconic roles in the past. He is known for speaking his mind and often his statements go viral on social media. Recently, he shared his views on Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming 2-part mythological epic 'Ramayana' featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama. Khanna feels unsure about the Kapoor blue-eyed boy fitting in the bill and he explains why. Mukesh Khanna On Ranbir As Lord Rama In an interview with Galatta India, Mukesh Khanna stated, 'Ched chaad karoge toh phasoge. Aap Ram ko yodha bata rahe ho, vo Maryada Purushottam the. They're showing Lord Ram climbing trees and shooting arrows. Krishna or Arjuna can do that, but Rama wouldn't do it. If Rama proclaimed himself as a warrior, he would never ask monkeys to help him. He was enough, one man against Ravana." On Ranbir Kapoor's ability to play the role of Maryada Purushottam Ram, he said, "From what I can see, I don't know if Ranbir Kapoor can pull off the Maryada Purushottam image of Rama. He's a good actor, but he has an image chasing him — and that's Animal. I don't have an objection to it. He could do it. But I think agar aapne Rama ko Yodha Rama bataya, toh log accept nahi kar paayenge. Iske upar gadbad ho sakti hai. Ram humbly accepted his 14-year exile, ate Shabri's berries, and did not engage in bow and arrow combat." He also shared how he made a video to explain his objection to the portrayal of Ram in Ramayana: The Introduction first look and wanted to put up on social media. However, his team informed him that the scenes were AI-generated. He also shared that he was approached by a publication to comment on Ranbir's past admission of eating beef, to which he said, "I will not comment on this. He may have eaten beef, but he might have given it up. Let it go." Ramayana vs Adipurush On Adipurush's debacle and massive budget, Mukesh Khanna said, "There can be no bigger subject than the Ramayana. But I have seen how 'Adipurush' was poorly executed. If the same attitude is applied, today's Hindus will not forgive you. The Ramayana cannot be made with a budget of 1,000 crores; it requires substance. Just like 'Shaktimaan' is not made with stars but with content, even with a new actor." Ramayana Release Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari, the mythological adaptation stars Ranbir Kapoor and promises to be a cinematic spectacle. Based on the ancient Indian epic, the film features a stellar ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, Ravi Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, and Lara Dutta. The two-part epic tale will release on Diwali 2026 and 2027.

Did Ranbir Kapoor Throw Tantrums On Animal Sets? Co-Star Reveals The Truth
Last Updated: Saurabh Sachdeva says Ranbir Kapoor stayed humble and connected on Animal sets, shutting down rumours of on-set tantrums while recalling his own doubts. Animal movie: Ranbir Kapoor's blockbuster Animal sparked heated debates for its bold storytelling, but behind the scenes, co-star Saurabh Sachdeva remembers the actor for something else entirely – his humility. Speaking in a candid interview, Saurabh dismissed talk of diva behaviour and praised Ranbir for staying grounded on set. The Dhadak 2 actor shared his experience with Filmygyan, where he was asked if Ranbir ever 'threw tantrums" during filming. His answer was immediate. 'Nobody does that. This is all nonsense. Everyone is human and if they are a good actor, professional, and know how to connect with a co-actor… they know that is how a scene comes alive. If they start throwing tantrums, then how will the scene come to life? How can he be such a beautiful, powerful, versatile actor, if he does not connect with me or with any other co-actor? It's not possible," he said. Saurabh added that Ranbir was 'always connected, very humble and respectful with his co-actors." Why He Nearly Said No to Animal While Animal became one of the biggest films of Ranbir's career, Saurabh admits he was hesitant to join the project at first. 'I was initially very skeptical about doing the film. When I met Sandeep for the first time, I didn't understand what was happening in the film and I was wondering that since it's such a huge cast, I might get lost in it," he said. His doubts continued even after several meetings with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. 'I told him that I do not understand the world of this film. He then showed me the scene of the masked men and I got even more confused. Then he showed me that scene between Triptii Dimri and Ranbir in the lawn. Then the writer of the film… started narrating a few more scenes and I said, 'Okay, I will do it'," he recalled. 'I Was Confused Till the End' Even during the shoot, the uncertainty never really went away. 'Honestly, throughout the film, I was really confused, till the end. And I wasn't sure if what I was doing was right or not," he admitted. When asked about the much-anticipated sequel, Animal Park, Saurabh said he's just as curious as fans. 'I have no clue. I also want to know when it's coming out. The shoot hasn't even started. Sandeep is making Spirit, and then he will start this… They are still writing the story. It's a work in progress," he said.
