BBC's John Hunt has spoken about the deaths of his wife and two daughters for the first time after they were murdered in a crossbow attack.
John, along with his daughter Amy, said they have now chosen to speak publicly because they did not want their loved ones to be defined by their deaths.
Louise Hunt, 25, her sister Hannah, 28, and their mum Carol, 61, were killed after Louise's ex-boyfriend Kyle Clifford tricked his way into the family home in July.
Instead, the racing commentator said the three had left behind a 'legacy of love' and still speaks to them when he wakes up everyday.
In an emotional interview with the BBC, he said: 'From the moment I wake up, I say good morning to each of them.
'Sometimes I say out loud to Hannah and Louise, 'sorry I can't be with you, I'm with your mum at the moment'.
'As I close my eyes at night, I chat to them as well. They're very close to me all the time.' More Trending
At Clifford's sentencing in March, John told he will be 'welcomed in hell'.
Clifford stabbed Carol to death, then tied up and raped Louise before killing her with a crossbow. When Hannah arrived, he shot her too. She texted an alert before dying at the scene.
John said: 'Whatever sentence you are about to receive, whatever misery lies ahead for you for the next 60 years, remember that, after your days on earth are done, on your dying day, there will be no release for you.
'The screams of hell, Kyle… I can hear them faintly now. The red carpet will come out for you. At that point, when the person you could have been meets the person you are, you will realise your miserable fate will last for eternity.'

Man obsessed with BBC's Emily Maitlis is jailed for five years
Man obsessed with BBC's Emily Maitlis is jailed for five years Ms Maitlis described her husband finding Vines on their doorstep, her children needing to be escorted to the school bus, and 'upsetting interactions' with her 92-year-old mother Emily Maitlis, British journalist, documentary filmmaker, and former newsreader for the BBC An obsessed serial stalker of former BBC Newsnight presenter Emily Maitlis has been jailed for five years after breaching his restraining order by sending the broadcaster and her parents letters from prison. Nottingham Crown Court heard that Edward Vines was 'distraught' that his friendship with Ms Maitlis ended three months after he told her he loved her while they were at university in Cambridge together, but his offending since has made Ms Maitlis feel 'vulnerable and worried'. Vines, who refused to attend his sentencing hearing on Thursday, sent envelopes, sometimes containing more than one letter, addressed to Ms Maitlis and her relatives which were intercepted by prison staff at HMP Lowdham Grange in Nottinghamshire, where he was serving a sentence for previous harassment. The 55-year-old, who represented himself in the trial, denied three counts of breaching a restraining order and one count of attempting to breach a restraining order between May 2023 and February 2024 but was convicted of all offences by a jury in May. He addressed more than 20 letters to Ms Maitlis and her family over a 10-month period and phoned his brother in July 2023 asking him to contact her mother Marion Maitlis. The court heard that Vines has 13 previous convictions for 28 offences dating back to 2002 'almost all of which concern harassment or breach of a restraining order' relating to Ms Maitlis. In a short victim personal statement read to the court by prosecutor Fergus Malone, Ms Mailtis wrote: 'For over 30 years I have been living with the consequences of the persistent and unwanted attention of this individual. I feel especially vulnerable and worried when the matter comes to trial. The idea that he might be bailed is deeply worrying and I would be very concerned for my safety and the safety of my family.' Ms Maitlis also described her husband finding Vines on their doorstep, her children needing to be escorted to the school bus, and 'upsetting interactions' with her 92-year-old mother. Part of an interview she did with Radio 5 Live in 2018 was also read to the court, in which she described feeling 'paranoia' and said the harassment feels like a 'chronic illness'. Sentencing Vines in his absence, Judge Mark Watson said: 'It is a tragedy that I once again have to deal with Edward Vines for breaking the restraining order imposed to stop him having contact with Emily Maitlis and her family. He has shown complete contempt for this order. His contact with her is harassment of her whatever the content of his letters may be. Article continues below 'In this case she (Ms Maitlis) has been fearful for three decades. In 2018 she described the effects of the fear she felt as a result of Edward Vines's behaviour. It was described by her as like a chronic illness. Because of the history of this case, I regard each single letter as a very serious breach. These were also letters that did not get through. They were not threatening or meant as abusive. 'I do accept that because of his mental health issues there is some reduction to his culpability. He was, however, capable of making rational decisions. He is a very bright and articulate man – he could have been many things. His obsession with Emily Maitlis has tortured him without release. 'He has wasted more than two decades of his life and regrettably he is set to waste more of it in custody.' The judge added that Vines's imprisonment is the 'only thing stopping him from contacting the Maitlis family directly'. Mr Malone told the jury during the trial that Vines wrote a letter addressed to Ms Maitlis, who co-hosts The News Agents podcast, which said: 'I took the audacity of writing to you despite the restraining order because I'm still distraught about what took place between us in 1990. 'I regularly suffer depression over it and have for 30 years. I admit I'm not sure why I suffer so, but suffer I do.' Article continues below The restraining order was put in place on September 5 2022 when Vines was convicted of eight counts of breaching a restraining order and he was jailed for eight years.

Inside twisted world of Disneyland hoax paedo Jacky Jhaj… from bizarre £100K stunts to who's behind his shady network
The convicted paedophile has revelled in being called a 'Dangerous Sexual Predator' FREAK'S EMPIRE Inside twisted world of Disneyland hoax paedo Jacky Jhaj… from bizarre £100K stunts to who's behind his shady network CONVICTED paedophile Jacky Jhaj is on the run after attempting to 'marry' a nine-year-old Ukranian girl at Disneyland Paris in an elaborate hoax wedding that cost over £100,000. But with a slew of previous expensive, warped stunts - often involving children - behind him, questions are being asked about how the disgraced director and actor from west London is making his money. He has spent a fortune hiring lavish venues, supercars and innocent children to star as extras for his repulsive pranks, which have included staging a fake funeral. Jhaj, from Fulham, west London, has been charged for offences including fraud, abuse of trust, handling stolen goods and money laundering. But questions remain unanswered about how exactly he has managed to amass the cash to produce a slick two hour film, and who is footing the wage bill for the huge casts and professional crews he employs. Advertisement The Disneyland stunt alone cost thousands of pounds. The fee for hiring the grounds of the iconic Sleeping Beauty castle for a wedding is £111,000. Plus he paid for luxury private coaches to transport the unwitting 'wedding guests' the 70 mile round trip from the centre of Paris. And in another big budget stunt last summer serial predator Jhaj, 39, blew up police vehicles and a BBC lorry - and walked away naked as the blaze spiralled out of control. Advertisement He has also produced and starred in a dark movie called Dangerous Sexual Predator - leaving onlookers wondering how an unemployed convicted criminal could possibly fund such elaborate projects. This week X users were demanding to know where Jhaj gets his cash from. Massive fireball explosion near O2 arena caused by convicted paedophile who blew up BBC lorry while filming NAKED One user posted: "How does he fund all of this? Seems a very obvious q." Another asked: "Where has the money been coming from for this?? What team is behind arranging the logistics etc. surely there's more to this." Advertisement Among his entourage in Paris last weekend were three other people who were also arrested – the child's mum, a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman; a 24-year-old Latvian woman who played the role of the bride's sister, and a 55-year-old Latvian man who also took part in the sickening ceremony. 13 Jhaj appeared in a two-hour film uploaded online called Dangerous Sexual Predator And then there is a woman named Christelle Ka, who bills herself as an 'actor and TV host' and runs a firm called Cristal Communications. She posted the extraordinary Facebook advert recruiting actors as young as five years old for the depraved wedding. Advertisement But her link to Jhaj remains unclear. Kids between the age of five and 15 were offered 200 euros each to take part in the 'high end wedding rehearsal'. 13 Last year Jhaj blew up police cars and a BBC bus - and walked away naked Credit: Twitter/@hannah_moss_01 And Jhaj was somehow able to pay for musicians, a wedding cake, and the cost of hiring chairs for hundreds of guests. Advertisement To help stage his previous stunts he has also forked out for vehicles including a £3.2 million Bugatti Chirson and recruited teams of well paid explosive experts. Last August Jhaj flew in special effects technicians from Eastern Europe to help stage a terrifying explosion near the 02 in east London, using the name Toby. But when he removed his 'grotesque evil villain' prosthetic mask, one of the film crew recognised him and pulled out. Frantic Jhaj offered cash incentives for the team to carry on - agreeing to pay engineers £5,000 instead of their usual £750 fee for the day. He had obtained a filming permit from the Royal Borough of Greenwich council, thought to have cost around £10,000 for the day. Advertisement The huge blast was triggered by using gun powder and a detonation cord. Cars draped in Union Jack flags, a police car, police van and a BBC World News branded lorry all exploded in a fireball. The roof of the police van was sent flying 50 feet into the air, and the London Fire Brigade said it received around 100 emergency calls in response to the incident. As plumes of smoke billowed into the sky, Jhaj was seen casually walking away completely naked, smoking a cigarette. Advertisement Million-pound supercars Just months before the huge explosion, Jhaj and his backers rented a Bugatti Chiron supercar worth £3.2 million. Then they paid a large group of children to gather round him outside The Hub Studios in east London. They were rewarded with golden envelopes and even a necklace which Jhaj dished out to the crowd. Two months earlier he had used a well known international casting platform called Backstage to hire yet more child actors in order to stage an elaborate £10,000 fake funeral at the London Oratory. Advertisement 13 Thousands were spent on paid actors and a fake coffin 13 Jhaj, who is on the sex offenders register, managed to stage a glitzy red carpet event In 2023, disturbing footage surfaced of Jhaj mixing with around 200 children and 100 young women at a bogus film shoot in London's Leicester Square. Dozens of child actors as young as six were recruited as supposed film extras dressed in school uniforms for the event. Advertisement The cast was requested to wear a range of costumes which included "Clubbing High School Uniform", a "Harry Potter type look (came straight from school)" and "PJs". The production also booked around 100 young women between the ages of 16 to 24 from Universal Extras. Dozens of child actors as young as six were recruited as supposed film extras dressed in school uniforms for the event Advertisement Before his recent stunts the serial prankster featured bare chested in a two hour movie, in which he appeared to glory in the description given to him by police. 'Dangerous Sexual Predator' When he was arrested in 2016 for grooming and sexually assaulting two schoolgirls, cops referred to Jhaj as "a dangerous sexual predator." He drove around the streets of Hounslow in a silver Range Rover, claiming to be a 21-year-old Hollywood film producer and offering teenagers alcohol. And yet, four years later he somehow managed to amass the funds to produce a film featuring himself, often bare-chested, driving around with a series of young female passengers. Advertisement Prosecutors confirmed on Tuesday that Jhaj is known in the UK "for sexual offences against minors". He was found guilty of four counts of sexual activity with two underage girls at Isleworth Crown Court, and later found guilty of handling stolen goods. He was jailed for four years for all the offences together. After his conviction, Detective Constable Nav Johal, the investigating officer from Hounslow CID, said: "Thanks to the courage and bravery of the young vulnerable victims who gave evidence, a dangerous sexual predator has been brought to justice. Advertisement 'I am hopeful that the verdict and sentencing will give them some peace and closure, and they will be able to, in time, move forward from this difficult period."

BBC should not show Kneecap's Glastonbury set, says Culture Secretary
Speaking on Politics Live, Nandy agreed with Keir Starmer, who said it was not "appropriate" for the band to play the festival after one of their members was charged with a terror offence. Liam Og O hAnnaidh was charged for allegedly displaying a flag in support of proscribed terrorist organisation Hezbollah at a gig in London in November last year. Last week, the 27-year-old, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, was cheered by hundreds of supporters as he arrived with bandmates Naoise O Caireallain and JJ O Dochartaigh at Westminster Magistrates' Court in 'Free Mo Chara' T-shirts. READ MORE: Who is on tonight's BBC Question Time panel in St Andrews? He was released on unconditional bail until his next hearing at the same court on August 20. Nandy said: 'This is a band who have thrived on the oxygen of publicity, and as well as the terrorist offences, there have been very serious comments they've made encouraging attacks on elected members of parliament, not from my own party, but it is my job to stand up against that.' When questioned whether the BBC should cover the band's set, she said: 'It's horrific – personally I do not want to see that on TV screens.'
