Anusha Dandekar Reacts To Bigg Boss Rumours: 'Never Stepping In That House'
Anusha Dandekar denies joining Bigg Boss Season 19, stating she was never contacted. She prefers her current work and teases a new project.
With every new season of Bigg Boss, there are a few things you can count on like drama, unexpected evictions, and rumours about Anusha Dandekar joining the show. Every year, her name comes up as a potential contestant and Season 19 is no exception. But once again, Anusha is setting the record straight.
'Honestly, I have no idea why my name keeps coming up!" she tells News18 Showsha exclusively, when asked why speculation around her participation refuses to die down. 'I've made it very clear that I'm never going into that house. I should be getting paid by them for all the free promo I've been giving without ever stepping in!"
So, have the makers ever actually reached out? 'Never. Not even a call. I think they know I'll slip out midway!" she laughs again. 'But really, if they're going to keep using my name for attention, I deserve a cheque at this point."
That sounds like a hard no from Anusha, and she confirms it: 'Yup. It's just a personal choice. I think people who do that show are incredibly brave. But, me? Not interested. It's not my thing."
What about other reality shows — something like Khatron Ke Khiladi, perhaps? 'They've asked, yeah. But again, not something I want to do. I love what I do already, and I just want to keep doing that."
So while Bigg Boss fans might have to finally put those rumours to rest, there's still more coming from Anusha. 'I can't say yet… but you'll see me soon!" she teases.
Anusha Dandekar makes a comeback to screens with Hunter Season 2, where she steps into the shoes of a full-blown action hero. The series, led by Suniel Shetty, takes the stakes higher this time around.

'I think when my divorce happened, people alleged me of being a cheater. I have never cheated in my life. I am not that kind of a person. You won't find anyone more loyal than me. When people don't know anything, but they keep blaming me, so you start thinking [otherwise],' said the cricketer while talking to Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD He also shared that the intense public scrutiny during the divorce proceedings affected him mentally and also led to suicidal thoughts. 'I had suicidal thoughts, I was tired of my life, I used to cry for 2 hours. I used to sleep just for 2 hours. It went for 40-45 days. I wanted a break from cricket. I was so busy in cricket. I was not able to concentrate. I used to sleep for 2 hours. Used to share suicidal thoughts with my friend. I used to get scared,' he added. The cricketer also admitted to being pretentious by showing that he is in a happy relationship at times. 'A relationship is like a compromise. If one gets angry, the other has to listen. At that point, I was so much into it, I had to give time here, give time there. I was not able to think about the relationship. Then it happens every day, you think, leave it.
