Tim Weah's agent puts Juventus on blast for holding up Marseille transfer
Weah previously turned down a transfer to English Premier League side Nottingham Forest after Juventus came to terms. Instead, the 25-year-old has made it clear his preference is to move back to Ligue 1, where he previously played for Paris Saint-Germain and Lille.

So far, however, the teams have not come to an agreement. Multiple reports indicate Marseille will not increase its offer beyond €15 million ($17.6 million), while Juventus is insisting on its €20 million ($23.5 million) valuation.
Weah's agent, Badou Sambague, expressed his frustration in a statement to The Athletic.
'Juve is a fantastic club,' Sambague wrote. 'The sporting department is managed by three persons. Two have class, and another is still searching himself [sic]. We cannot blame him. Two are looking for solutions, and one is creating problems. And we can't let that go. Tim Weah, is always professional, was left out during the [Club] World Cup. This person botched his [Club] World Cup, tried to force him to go where he wanted. Today, as revenge, he's demanding a fortune and waiting for a Premier League offer that won't come and will never be approved by us.
'These are old-fashioned methods that won't sit well with me. I'm not used to speaking out, but not doing so today would be accepting the unacceptable and total disrespect. Class can't be bought for a manager, that's for sure, but it has always been part of the history of Juventus. One person is undermining that. Let's see…'
Weah played just 45 minutes for Juventus during the FIFA Club World Cup this summer. Increasing that frustration is that he missed the Concacaf Gold Cup with the U.S. team in order to stay with Juve for the club competition.
At issue from the player's side is the belief that Juventus general manager Damien Comolli initially accepted a €14 million offer ($16.5 million), but now is insisting on the €20 million figure.
Weah is keen on the opportunity to play for OM manager Roberto De Zerbi, and Marseille has qualified for the Champions League. Weah has three years remaining on his contract with Juventus.
The Athletic has approached Juventus for comment.

Lewis Hamilton says he has 'a lot going on in the background' after another tough race
BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — A day after calling himself 'useless,' Lewis Hamilton said he's facing issues 'in the background' after another difficult Formula 1 race. Hamilton finished 12th Sunday, the same place he'd qualified the day before, a result which had prompted him to call himself 'absolutely useless' and suggest Ferrari might consider changing drivers. His race was a world away from teammate Charles Leclerc, who was disappointed with fourth after starting on pole. 'When you have a feeling, you have a feeling. There's a lot going on in the background that is not great,' Hamilton told British broadcaster Sky Sports after the race when asked to explain his comments from a day before. Asked if he'd lost his love of racing, Hamilton said no. In response to a question about seemingly being forced off the track by old rival Max Verstappen, a standout moment in an otherwise largely quiet race for Hamilton, he said: 'I don't really remember it, to be honest.' It was a frustrating day overall for Ferrari as Leclerc lost pace in the second half of the race and went from fighting for the win to dropping off the podium altogether after a hard-fought battle with George Russell of Mercedes. In a lengthy radio message, Leclerc suggested Ferrari was not listening to him in an 'incredibly frustrating' situation and that the car had become 'undriveable.' After the race, though, Leclerc said he'd been mistaken. 'I spoke too quickly, I guess,' he told Sky Sports, and said he'd been informed after the race that there had been a problem with his car's chassis. ___ AP auto racing:

🚨 BREAKING: Crystal Palace defender completes MLS move
MLS side Colorado Rapids have signed Rob Holding from Crystal Palace on a free transfer. The former Arsenal defender had one year remaining on his contract at Selhurst Park, but agreed to depart on a free this summer. He has now signed an 18-month contract with the American club through to the 2026 season. Holding struggled to break into the Eagles' first team after joining from Arsenal in 2023 for £4m and played just one senior game. He spent the second half of the 2024/25 campaign on loan with Championship outfit Sheffield United and made 11 appearances. The 29-year-old featured over 160 times for the Gunners before his move across London and won two FA Cups. Holding is expected to provide valuable first-team experience for the Rapids, who are chasing a play-off spot in the MLS Western Conference. 📸 Patrick Khachfe - 2024 Getty Images

Atalanta Talisman Still Top Target For Inter Milan – Chelsea & Man United Outcasts Plan B Options
Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is still Inter Milan's top target in attack, while Christopher Nkunku and Jadon Sancho are Plan B targets. This according to Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNEws. Inter Milan have been chasing for several weeks. And it would be fair to say that the transfer saga has blown up into an outright soap opera. This has been the results of Atalanta's reluctance to sell the Nigerian international. They have so far rejected two bids from Inter. On the other hand, Lookman himself is absolutely dead set on making the move to the Nerazzurri. Lookman Still Top Target For Inter – Nkunku & Sancho Backup Targets LONDON, ENGLAND – FEBRUARY 25: Christopher Nkunku of Chelsea during the Premier League match between Chelsea FC and Southampton FC at Stamford Bridge on February 25, 2025 in London, England. (Photo by) After Lookman publicly requested a transfer today, Inter are still determine to sign the 27-year-old former RB Leipzig and Leicester City forward. Therefore, reports Sky Sport Italia, the Nerazzurri are not focusing on the idea of having a Plan B. Rather, Inter are still going to make signing Lookman their top priority. However, if Inter are not able to sign the Nigerian, there are a couple backup targets they could move onto. One would be out-of-favour Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku. And staying within the Premier League, Inter could also move for Jadon Sancho, who Manchester United definitely want to sell.
