Yahoo21 hours ago

Brie Garcia recounted a scary pool incident with her son, Buddy.
In the Monday, June 9, episode of "The Nikki and Brie Show" on SiriusXM, Garcia, 41, revealed Buddy jumped into the deep end after another child tossed something into the pool and told him to 'go fetch.'
Garcia had taken Buddy, 4, and his sister, Birdie, 7, to the pool but didn't get in herself because she'd just gotten 'a really good blowout' she didn't want to ruin by getting her hair wet.
'We go to this, like, club place, so there's people at the pool, whatever. It's Sunday, fun day,' Brie explained to her sister, Nikki Garcia. 'We're all there and my kids, so Birdie's actually really great at swimming now. It's, like, really crazy to see her do laps. Buddy's good in the shallow end, but he freaks out when he gets to the deep end, but he knows how to do it, but we're not there yet, so I watch them like hawks.'
Influencer Emilie Kiser's 3-Year-Old Son Dies After Discovered Unconscious in Pool
'I told the kids, literally before we left at the house, I'm like, 'Mommy's not going to wear her swimsuit. I just, you know, I just don't feel like swimming really.' Really, I didn't want to ruin my blowout. I'm like, 'This blowout can go for a couple more days,'' she continued.
After being told to get the toy, Buddy 'jumps into the deep end, and then literally, and I watch the whole thing, but I'm like, 'Is he going to swim? Did he get the confidence to swim or something?' And then Birdie's like, 'He's drowning.' So dramatic. So, I sprint and jump into the deep end.'
'I was literally in the middle of a conversation with five adults. …I just sprint andI grab him and we come up and Buddy's wearing Birdie's goggles, so they're these, like, humongous pink glittery sparkly goggles and he's like, you know, so upset, which he should be, and I'm like, 'Oh my gosh,' and everyone is dead silent, just staring,' Brie explained. ' I just was like, 'Damn, you know, that is what I deserve.''
Brie's experience with her son comes after May was National Water Safety Month and weeks after influencer Emilie Kiser's 3-year-old son, Trigg, died after drowning in the family's pool. Kiser has been fighting to keep the details of his death private. Per Tuesday, June 3, court documents obtained by Us, a judge ruled to give Kiser temporary confidentiality on her request for privacy 'until a determination is made that balances the public's need for information vs privacy interests.'
'Emilie has fully cooperated with investigators. The focus here is not on withholding information, but on safeguarding the dignity of a child and allowing a grieving family the space and privacy to heal,' a source told Us. Kiser was not home at the time of Trigg's death.

Alex Cooper Was Viciously Bullied as a Child In Part One, Cooper shares an old photo of her from when she was a child, making note of her braces, freckles, natural red hair, and skinny legs. Cooper would go on to explain how boys would viciously bully her, comparing her to a skeleton and make all the usual comments that go with being a ginger (no soul, etc.). This led to significant self-hatred for Cooper, especially when she was at sleepovers with her friends who didn't have these problems. 2. "The Unwell Tour" Almost Didn't Happen In Part One, production manager Jon Dindas appeared as if he was going to walk out on the "Unwell Tour" the day before the first performance in Boston. While there were no exact details revealed regarding what happened, it was stated that he was "burnt out." When Cooper stated that no one knew how to do anything but him, Dindas laughed and said, "That's part of the problem." More Entertainment: Everything We Know About Netflix's Season 4 of 'Ginny & Georgia' After noting that the show cannot go on without Dindas, Cooper addressed the entire crew to make sure that all of them feel appreciated. In the end, Dindas stayed with the tour and opening night went off without a hitch. 3. Alex Cooper Accuses College Soccer Coach of Sexual Harassment The most shocking reveal came at the end of Part One, where Cooper accused her former Boston University soccer coach, Nancy Feldman, of sexually harassing her. 'Call Her Daddy' podcast host Alex Cooper has accused her former Boston University soccer coach, Nancy Feldman, of uncomfortable encounters that Cooper characterizes as sexual harassment. Cooper made the allegation in her new Hulu documentary "Call Her Alex." — Good Morning America (@GMA) June 10, 2025 "My sophomore year everything really shifted. I started to notice her really starting to fixate on me way more than any other teammate of mine. And it was confusing because the focus wasn't on 'You're doing so well, let's get you on the field, you're going to be a starter.' "It was all based in her wanting to know who I was dating, her making comments about my body, and her always wanting to be alone with me." Cooper then revealed that she would have private meetings with Feldman where she would stare at her, sit next to her on the couch, and put her hand on Cooper's thigh. Cooper then revealed that her coach's questions eventually became about her sex life, and if she didn't speak about them, "there would be consequences." "It was this psychotic game of 'You want to play, tell me about your sex life,'" Cooper said. "'I have to drive you to your night class. Get in the car with me, alone.'" Cooper later shared more details about her experience on the "Call Her Daddy" YouTube account, as well as how much revisiting her college campus had an effect on her. 4. Alex Cooper Still Feels Small Returning to Her College The alleged harassment from Cooper's coach had a drastic effect on her, something that the podcasting giant still feels to this day. Toward the end of Part One, Cooper revisited the Boston University campus. However, she didn't expect the anger that welled inside her. More Entertainment: 'Wicked: For Good' is Coming in November: Watch the Official Trailer "The minute I stepped back on that field, I felt so small," Cooper later said during a Q&A, per Marie Claire. "I just felt like I was 18 years old again and I was in a situation with someone in a position of power who abused that power. "I felt like I wasn't the 'Call Her Daddy' girl. I wasn't someone who had money and influence or whatever. I was just another woman who experienced harassment on a level that changed my life forever and took away the thing I loved the most." 5. Cooper's Parents Supported Her, Although Her Family and Community Did Not While Cooper didn't really speak to her breakup with "Call Her Daddy" co-creator and former co-host Sofia Franklyn, she and her family went into detail about how the sexually explicit nature of the show – like the infamous "Gluck Gluck 9000," – had an effect on her extended family and community. "You know, if I can be a little bold about my daughter, our town, it was turning things upside down," Cooper's mother said. "People were talking about it, like, 'How could she do this? She's a good kid. She was raised well.'" "Even at some of these tour shows, they look at me and they're like, 'Are you ok with this?'" Cooper's father shared. "They give me that look and I'm like, 'Yeah.'" "We're talking sex, we're talking relationships. Everyone's having fun. And by the way, if you listen to the screaming... I think it's pretty successful." Bruce Springsteen, wife Patti Scialfa celebrate wedding anniversary

Bruce Springsteen, wife Patti Scialfa celebrate wedding anniversary Show Caption Hide Caption Bruce Springsteen's wife Patti Scialfa reveals cancer diagnosis Longtime E Street Band member and wife of Bruce Springsteen, Patti Scialfa, revealed she was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018. The Springsteens are celebrating over three decades of love. Bruce Springsteen and wife Patti Scialfa celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary over the weekend. Scialfa, a member of Springsteen's E Street Band, has been on hiatus from the group since revealing she had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a rare blood cancer. "Our one year anniversary … Bruce surprised me with a beautiful party," Scialfa wrote in a June 8 Instagram post alongside a photo of the couple sharing a kiss. Scialfa and Springsteen were married June 8, 1991, in Los Angeles. "Today marks 34 years … even though we already had Evan and Jess was on the way … spent the evening with Bruce (and) Sam and our granddaughter Lily," she continued. Scialfa and Springsteen share three children: Evan, 34; Jessica, 33; and Sam, 31. The family will soon notch another milestone: a multigenerational album. Sam and Evan are credited with contributing background vocals on the track "Where You're Going, Where You're From," part of the "Faithless" album, one piece of a two-part project that releases old Springsteen tracks from the vault. On Instagram, friends, fans and family congratulated the couple on their milestone. "Happy Anniversary!!!!!! We love you both!!!!!" commented Rita Wilson, an actress and wife to Tom Hanks. Longtime Springsteen photographer and concert promoter Danny Clinch laid down three heart emojis. "What a beautiful picture of the two of you! A very Happy Anniversary from us to you! Nicki & Garry," Nicky Germaine, the wife of E Street bassist Gary Tallent, wrote. Springsteen and Scialfa first met when she answered a newspaper ad in the mid-1970s for a female backup singer versed in 1960s girl groups. She had a tryout with the E Street Band, but did not end up joining the group until 1984 on the eve of the Born in the USA tour. When the two began to rehearse alone at her New York City apartment ahead of the subsequent Tunnel of Love tour, the line between bandmates and lovers began to blur. "I used to steal up there and sit on a park bench waiting for my gal to meet me with a six pack of beer," Springsteen said during a July 2020 broadcast of "Bruce Springsteen: From His Home, To Yours" on Sirius XM's E Street Radio channel. "We got engaged on that park bench," Scialfa added. Marianne Faithfull's "Trouble In Mind" was the theme of their budding romance, the couple revealed. "I used to drive you back from New York City after visiting me, and we would play that all the way back," Springsteen said. "That makes me think of your blue Camaro," Scialfa added, "and also you had an old Corvette, which was also blue. We would just play that, never talk. We were just in a daze of love." "Marianne Faithfull was our guardian angel in those days," Springsteen said. Contributing: Anna Kaufman, USA TODAY
