Indy 500 Draws Biggest TV Rating Since 2008 in FOX Debut
Alex Palou wasn't the only big winner in the 109th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge last Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
FOX Sports attracted 7.05 million viewers in the Nielsen Fast National ratings for its first telecast of 'The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,' the most-watched edition of the race since 2008. The rating marked a 40 percent increase over last year's broadcast, which drew 5.02 million viewers.
The broadcast reached a peak audience of 8.4 million viewers from 4:15-4:30 p.m. ET, when Palou drove his No. 10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda to his first '500' victory in a thrilling finish and enjoyed a jubilant celebration on track and on the Victory Podium with his CGR teammates.
INDYCAR and FOX Sports are in the first year of a broadcast partnership that is delivering dramatic gains in exposure for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone. All 17 races in the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule are televised on FOX network, the only major premier motorsport in the United States with exclusive major broadcast network coverage for all its races.

How to watch Nottingham Forest vs Brentford live: Stream, TV channel, team news, prediction
Brand new adventures await both Nottingham Forest and Brentford, as the two sides are set to face off at the City Ground to kick off the 2025-26 Premier League season on Sunday (9 am ET). WATCH — Nottingham Forest vs Brentford After finishing 7th last season, Forest are back in European competition (the Europa League, controversially) for the first time since 1995-96. Nuno Espirito Santo's side was in the top-4 for much of the campaign but fell away from the Champions League race as they won just 8 points from their final 8 games. Anthony Elanga has since departed for Newcastle ($74 million), thus the Tricky Trees are likely to be very active in the final two weeks of the transfer window. 24-year-old Swiss winger Dan Ndoye has already signed from Bologna ($46 million) and now midfielder James McAtee is reportedly on the verge of joining from Manchester City for $40 million. For Brentford, the new is adventure one of the unknown and endless uncertainty. Thomas Frank left to become Tottenham Hotspur boss this summer, trading west London for north after seven incredible seasons spent guiding the once-tiny club from its status as a perennial mid-table Championship side, to a 50-point average over four seasons in the Premier League. Keith Andrews, who previously served as set-piece coach under Frank, is the new man in charge and will make his professional managerial debut on Sunday. 20-goal scorer Bryan Mbeumo is also gone (off to Manchester United for $88 million), captain Christian Norgaard was quite a surprise signing by Arsenal, and now the club's other top marksman Yoane Wissa (19 goals) isn't involved with the squad as he attempts to force a move of his own with just one year remaining on his contract. Their depth should also play a big factor early in the season as other sides with smaller squads (like Brentford) require more time get up to speed. A late winner. Forest 2-1 Brentford.

How to watch Sunderland vs West Ham live: Stream, TV channel, team news, prediction
Newly promoted Sunderland would love nothing more than to kick off the 2025-26 season with a win over West Ham and mark the joyous return of Premier League football to the Stadium of Light on Saturday (10 am ET). WATCH — Sunderland vs West Ham Sunderland spent a decade in the Premier League from 2007 to 2017 before quickly falling into turmoil and, before you know it, the Black Cats spent nearly a decade trying to earn their way back. They spent four seasons in League One after suffering back-to-back relegations in 2017 and 2018, and were genuine surprise promotion candidates last season after finishing 16th a year prior. Less than three months after beating Sheffield United in the playoff final, Sunderland have spent just shy of $200 million for eight players, including former Arsenal captain (and new Sunderland skipper) Granit Xhaka for $23 million, central midfielder Habib Diarra ($40 million) from Strasbourg, winger Simon Adingra ($28 million) from Brighton and winger Chemsdine Talbi ($26 million) from Club Brugge. If you simply spend like a Premier League club, does that make you a Premier League club? We're going to find out. Heading into the summer transfer window, you could have made a fantastic argument that the Premier League side in most desperate need of a full-on rebuild was West Ham. The counter-point is that the Hammers have undergone so much change in recent seasons that less explosive modifications would better serve Graham Potter's needs, and that appears to be the route they have gone. After finishing 14th, scoring just 46 goals and conceding 62 (bottom-6 in the PL in both), West Ham have made Jean-Clair Todibo's loan a permanent move, and added goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from relegated Leicester for $27 million, 20-year-old Senegalese wing back El Hadji Malick Diouf from Slavia Prague ($25 million) and Kyle Walker-Peters and Callum Wilson on free transfers.
