John Daly has never been just another golfer. From outdriving Tiger Woods while hungover to lighting up crowds with his wild outfits and on-course banter, the 2-time major champion has delivered some of golf's unforgettable moments.
But these days, the 59-year-old is a bit tender on the greens. Daly withdrew from the Regions Tradition in May due to injury and finished T63 at the Kaulig Championship last month.
While his play on the PGA Tour Champions is rocky, his love life is certainly not.
Daly, who has been in a relationship with Anna Cladakis since 2007, took a heartfelt step forward in their long-standing romance this weekend.

On Saturday, he posted a birthday message for Anna's daughter, Charitsa Cladakis, typing, "Happiest Bday to my bonus daughter.... LIL GRIT!"
He followed it up with a proud nod to her future, "You're going to be one amazing Dr! I love you! Happy 21st!"
And no doubt the message had what one can say John Daly vibes. "Time to toast a @goodboyvodka @charistaa." (Good Boy Vodka is Daly's own vodka brand, which he co-founded in 2021)
Charitsa is Anna's daughter from her previous relationship with Chris T. Sullivan, the founder of Outback Steakhouse. And her 21st birthday just showcased Daly's deepening bond with Anna's family. Especially the two words "bonus daughter!"
That's a notable shift for a man whose personal life has often been turbulent. Daly has been married four times.
First to Dale Crafton (1987–1990), then he was with Bettye Fulford (1992–1995), followed by Paulette Dean (1995–1999), and Sherrie Miller (2001–2007).
His relationships were often marred by public disputes, legal battles, and personal struggles. His fourth marriage ended after a highly publicized altercation, and Daly was later granted custody of their son, John Daly II.
But with Anna, things have been different. In a 2016 interview, Daly credited her with bringing calm to his chaotic world.
"Anna has been one of the most supportive human beings in my world," he said.
The couple hasn't tied the knot, yet their nearly two-decade relationship has endured more than most marriages. Maybe that is how it was meant to be.

USMNT blows early lead for heartbreaking loss to Mexico in Gold Cup final

Woman Walks Out of Friend's Baby Shower After She Jokes About Her Infertility During Group Game

A woman shared in a viral online Reddit post that she left her friend's baby shower after the expectant mom made a joke about her infertility The pal said the poster would lose a 'trivia game about babies" because she wasn't "exactly an expert" on the matter The Redditor noted that she had been struggling with infertility for years, which was something her friend had known aboutA woman walked out of a friend's baby shower after the expectant mom made an out-of-line joke at her expense. The 35-year-old woman shared in a post on Reddit's popular "Am I Overreacting" forum that she helped plan her 34-year-old friend Anna's baby shower for her second child. "I bought decorations, split costs, baked cupcakes, all the things," she writes. "For context, I've been dealing with infertility for a few years. Anna knows this." During the shower, the guests were playing a 'trivia game about babies,' when Anna made a pointed comment about the poster. "Anna joked, 'Well, [my name] will lose this one, obviously, she's not exactly an expert on babies,'" the woman recalls. The joke rubbed the woman the wrong way, as she had been struggling with infertility for years, which Anna was well aware of. 'Some people laughed awkwardly, and I just… froze,' the woman adds. 'I excused myself and left without saying much.' The woman did not say whether she returned to the party, but noted that Anna later texted her, saying she was 'just kidding' and that the poster 'made things weird' by leaving. 'Another mutual friend said I should've stayed and not made it about me,' the woman adds, asking other Reddit users if she was "overreacting by being hurt and walking out." Nearly all of the commenters were on the poster's side, noting that Anna 'made it about' her 'when she mentioned your name.' They added that 'if she was a good friend she would know that isn't a topic to joke about.' '... Referring to your lack of children is crossing a line,' another chimed in. 'It's a reasonable boundary that your friends shouldn't even need to be asked not to cross. If she thinks that sticking by this boundary makes you difficult or weird, then she's not a real friend. You deserve better friends…' Others said that the woman's apology also wasn't up to snuff. One person said, 'That was incredibly cruel and you deserve a sincere apology not that text.' Someone else suggested that the woman give her friend a chance to 'muster a sincere apology' and do 'some reflection on why she chose to hurt you like that.' They also noted that if the woman's friend doesn't 'demonstrate' this by the end of the week, they should move on from the friendship. Read the original article on People

Jannik Sinner will face his first stiff test at Wimbledon on Sunday morning, but he's still a massive favorite over Grigor Dimitrov. There were some minor questions about how Sinner would fare at Wimbledon after his heartbreaking loss to Carlos Alcaraz in the French Open final, but those queries have seemingly been answered. Nobody has been able to lay a glove on Sinner through three matches, and the Italian has yet to spend more than two hours on the court for a single contest. Whitewashing Luca Nardi, Alexander Vukic and Pedro Martinez is one thing, but it will be a lot trickier to rout a player of Dimitrov's caliber. Wimbledon: Sinner vs. Dimitrov preview Dimitrov may be past his prime, but he is still a high-ceiling player who can do some serious damage when he's in form and, most importantly, physically fit. The Bulgarian was once the World No. 3 and he's been to the semifinals at three different Grand Slams. However, he's battled injuries lately and is never a safe bet to finish a match at this point. Dimitrov has been forced to retire from four different matches this season, including his first-round contests at the Australian Open and Roland Garros. It's great news that Dimitrov has been able to get through his first three matches at Wimbledon, but he'll now be playing on back-to-back days and will be put through the ringer against Sinner. AFP via Getty Images Wimbledon: Sinner vs. Dimitrov pick Dimitrov will know that he will need to have his sea legs with him in the latter stages of this match if he's going to have a chance of pulling this upset. That could lead to a quick set or two in the early stages of the match, as Dimitrov will likely try to conserve energy if Sinner gets ahead by a break or two.
