Mo Gilligan's ex makes cryptic dig at comedian after he shared clip of secret son
Mo Gilligan had been hitting headlines in the last week after the mother of his first child has slammed him as a "deadbeat dad" and claimed he doesn't see his first born. The comedian, 37, is getting ready to welcome his first child with current partner Taia Tulher, 28, but his ex Selina Christoforou, 35, posted an explosive video on TikTok where she claimed he already has a child but is a "deadbeat dad".
Selina claimed she knows how few times the star has met his son Rudi and insisted you "can't make someone be a dad". Their son was born in January 2024, and Selina claimed she could "count on her fingers and toes" how many times Mo has seen their child over the last 17 months.
Comedian Mo stayed silent on the claims made by Selina, he seemingly hit back at her with a post featuring Rudi. In a post shared last week, the short black and white clip showed a little boy playing a giant game of Connect 4. It comes after Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones split as he joins a notorious dating app on a lads' holiday.
Mo decided to keep the boy's identity hidden, but included a very telling song alongside the clip. He paired it with Emotionless by Drake, which featured the lyrics: "I wasn't hidin' my kid from the world / I was hidin' the world from my kid.
"From empty souls, who just wake up and look to debate / Until you starin' at your seed, you can never relate, Breakin' news in my life, I don't run to the blogs / The only ones I wanna tell are the ones I can call.
"They always ask, why let the story run if it's false? /You know, a wise man once said nothin' at all." Days after his post, Selina took to her Instagram Stories to share a cryptic message on her Stories.
The lyrics of Lorde's Man of the Year displayed over a black screen. The lyrics read: "Let's hear it for the man of the year. Hear it for the man of the year."
After the song came out, TikTok users started using it to showcase all the wrong or hurtful things the men in their lives have done. Posts included screenshots of heartbreaking texts, rude Snapchats, mean encounters, voice memos and more.
Mo never announced he had become a father when Rudi was born and it has been reported he met model Selina online. "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful," a source said.
Speaking to the Sun they added: "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful. But she wanted to have the baby, despite the fact they weren't actually a couple.
"She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he's about to become a dad for a second time and he's over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down.'

Rod Stewart has been fiercely slammed by Ozzy Osbourne fans following his AI graphic concert tribute to the late Black Sabbath star who was seen taking selfies with other dead stars in heaven. The 80-year-old Maggie May hitmaker, who is currently on tour in the US, had reportedly been dedicating his 1988 tune Forever Young to Ozzy, who died aged 76 on July 22. However, Rod's added background visual while he played the song has sparked some controversy. Footage of the star's concert at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta, Georgia, which has since gone viral, captured an AI-generated sequence which shows a gleeful Ozzy posing for snaps with a range of other late music legends, using a selfie stick. The video, which aired at Stewart's gig on August 1, featured other famous faces including Prince, Tina Turner, Bob Marley, Tupac Shakur, Aaliyah, Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, George Michael, XXXTentacion, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. The video, which has since been viewed over seven million times on X alone, has been heavily criticised online. One social media user slammed Stewart's move as they wrote: "Sick and not the cool way. This is weird as hell." A second fumed: "This is beyond disrespectful. who told him this was a good idea? these people and their families would be disgusted." Someone else chimed in: "This is incredibly distasteful." A fourth added: "This is so disrespectful it's not even funny." Meanwhile, other fans on TikTok took no issue with the video and praised Sir Rod for honouring Ozzy. One person wrote: "Beautiful job Sir." Another remarked: "I'm hearing about some backlash, so what's the problem! I think Rod Stewart was very nice and considerate to pay tribute to Ozzy." A third slammed critics as they penned: "I think this was a really nice loving respectful way he was trying to show how his grief and how he missed all of them. People need to chill everyone mourns in their own way." In addition to this, TMZ reports that Tupac Shakur's stepbrother, Mopreme Shakur, said that he has no issues with Rod's AI tribute. He told the outlet: "I'm pretty sure we all love Rod Stewart. I'm not sure about the legalities of it, but I have no problem with him memorialising the greats. Personally, I'm good with it." Osbourne, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2019, died on July 22 at the age of 76. His death came just days after his final performance at Villa Park where he reunited on stage with his Black Sabbath bandmates one last time on July 5. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! 'I visited worst seaside town in UK and I can't believe it's in Wales'
'I visited worst seaside town in UK and I can't believe it's in Wales' Zac Jones recently visited what he said has been described as the "worst seaside town in the UK", and you'll find it in Wales. After visiting, he made a few vital observations The seaside town has been dubbed one of the UK's worst (stock image) (Image: Getty Images) A man visited what he said has been dubbed as the "worst seaside town in the UK", and he couldn't believe it's located in Wales. Zac Jones, from Liverpool, recently travelled to the area to see what it was like after discovering it had been labelled as one of the worst seaside spots in the country. He shared a video of his experience on TikTok, as he wanted to see if the rating was a bit "harsh", and he quickly made a few discoveries. In a previous article, the Telegraph listed the town as "one of the worst" to visit if you like relaxing by the beach, and he wanted to see if he agreed. Zac admitted his first impression wasn't actually that bad, as he looked at what shops and restaurants were around. He then went onto explore the delights Rhyl has to offer a little more. In the clip exploring Rhyl, Zac said: "I mean, there's not an awful lot of people here. Let's see some of the prices in The Piazza. The big brunch will be £6.95. Cod, chips, peas, bread and butter - £8.80, and we have a Wetherspoon. "Honestly, I think it's quite nice here to be honest, maybe it's just because the sun's out. I mean at least there's a nice building." When he asked a passerby what the best part about Rhyl is, he replied: "The weather." Maybe that's one thing people are keen to celebrate. Content cannot be displayed without consent However, not long after this, disaster struck, and Zac added: "I take it back - everything nice I said about this place." As he walked along the street, he stepped in dog muck, which seemed to hinder his experience a little. Zac continued: "Well I think Rhyl, for me, gets an 'it's ok'. The best thing about Rhyl, in my opinion, is the beach and the coast. It's beautiful." Since the video was shared, it's been viewed over 1,000 times, and people were quick to comment and share their thoughts about Rhyl. Some people had a lot to say. One quipped: "Best thing about Rhyl is the way out." Another added: "Such a shame. Used to be so good." A third replied: "Spent many holidays there as a child, as it was all we could afford. It's not always about the location - it's about making memories as best you can." Article continues below Some people had different ideas though, as a fourth commented: "That's harsh. Although the town centre isn't up to to much, there is plenty going on further down the prom at Kite Surf Cafe and the other end - The Bike Hub and Harbour Hwb. "Marine Lake is brilliant for crabbing and walks, runs and sunsets. The people of Rhyl are some of the kindest most down to earth people." Someone else also wrote: "I haven't been there since I was a kid. Is it the worst place in the UK? It looks nicer than Blackpool by a long shot, apart from the dog muck. That's unfortunate."
