Jamie shocked his listeners last year when he confirmed in September that he had been diagnosed with Stage 1 laryngeal cancer.
The 54-year-old star was prompted to have a check-up at his doctors after some of his listeners raised concerns for a change in his voice.
In good news, Jamie was declared cancer-free in January but last night he admitted his fears of if he would ever get better.
Having won the award for Best Radio Show for his programme with Amanda Holden, Jamie took to the stage to accept the gong in which he addressed his cancer battle.
Speaking to the crowd, he said: 'There have been times in the past 12 months where I haven't known where I was gonna be, never mind on this stage, so I really appreciate it.'
He then thanked his co-host Amanda and their daily showbiz reporter, Ashley Roberts, before he made a joke looking to the future.
Jamie laughed: 'We last won this 10 years ago so I'll see you in 10 years."
The star took a break from hosting duties during his cancer battle last year.
The star's initial procedure, performed privately at the Princess Grace Hospital in London, successfully removed his lesion.
However, biopsies could not confirm with complete certainty that all cancer cells had been eliminated.

While he is free from the disease now, with odds of it returning "very low", he is still under instruction to see his surgeon every month.
In a new interview with The Times, Jamie spoke of his "scanxiety", explaining the intervals between appointments will lengthen to three and then six months after a year.
He said: "I was given the option of radiotherapy, but we decided that surgery was a better option. I had to go back for a second operation and have more tissue removed. That reset my recovery right back to the beginning.
"I was frustrated because I just wanted to get back to work. I remember reading an interview Amanda [Holden] had given saying, 'We hope to have him back by Christmas.' I had thought, way before Christmas! So the second operation put us back a bit.
"And then we found that during the healing process, some scar tissue was touching the other vocal cord. So I had to go back and have a third surgery.
"We were happy that the cancer was clear but to allow my voice to operate, they had to remove the scar tissue, which unfortunately had formed in a place where we didn't want it forming.'

The star immediately "panicked" and ran off stage to put it back in her mouth while the crowd was left wondering what was going on. Unfortunately, LeAnn was unable to hide her dental disaster and had to own up to the crowd - while continuing to manually hold her teeth in for the rest of the show. LeAnn has now revealed what happened at her gig at Skagit Valley Casino & Resort to her fans on Instagram. She has described it as an "epic example of the show must go on". In a candid TikTok, LeAnn said, "In the middle of One Way Ticket I feel something pop. "If you've been around, you'll know I've had a lot of dental surgeries and I have bridge in the front and it fell out in the middle of my song... to which I panicked and said, 'Hold on!' and ran to the side of the stage and put it in." LeAnn returned to the stage and tried to continue but says she had to "get real with everybody" and tell them what had happened. "For the rest of the show, I was literally pushing my teeth in, like, every couple of lines and singing," she explained. "By the way, I never knew how many Fs and Ths and Shs I have in my songs, especially Can't Fight The Moonlight." LeAnn Rimes sings How Do I Live on The Voice UK LeAnne went on to confess that her teeth fell out for a second time when performing Can't Fight The Moonlight, which is arguably her biggest song. "It was the most epic experience ever. I don't usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last," she added. Laughing, LeAnn warned the front row of her next gig to "watch out", quipping, "If you catch them, please return them!" The singer hopes her story will make other performers feel better if anything ever happens to them on stage that isn't part of the act. LeAnn has been applauded by fans for her honesty, with one commenting, "I just love how real you are!!!" Another added, "Love that you can laugh about it! This is why we love you!" And a third replied, "You're the best. And a great example of a pro at their best regardless. Even if they have to hold their teeth in. Well done." LeAnn is currently touring but now has a two-week break. She will return to the stage in Honolulu, Hawaii, on July 12. 5 LeAnn says her teeth falling out during a gig was a 'first' for her Credit: Getty

Viral star Grace Helbig unpacks life, laughter and a breast cancer battle

With over 2.5 million YouTube subscribers and 1.3 million followers on Instagram, Grace is no stranger to an audience, but this time, it's personal. Known for her razor-sharp wit and awkward charm, the US comedian has spent over 16 years building a career online, fronting the award-winning series DailyGrace, selling out live shows, co-hosting hit podcast This Might Get Weird, and even hosting her own talk show on E! But behind the curated chaos of internet stardom, Grace hit burnout. She'd been creating five videos a week for years, only to realise she no longer recognised herself without the screen persona. So she hit pause, enrolled in graduate school to study psychology, and took a deep dive into Jungian theory and the Hero's Journey, not realising her own epic battle was just around the corner. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Just a week after graduating, Grace was diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer. What followed was a crash course in chemo, biopsies, surgeries, and learning to live in a body she no longer recognised. For someone who'd built a career on self-deprecating jokes and camera-friendly content, suddenly she found herself on a healing journey filled with imposter syndrome, existential fear… and surprising moments of joy. Grace Helbig 'I was an indoor kid who edited videos for a living, not built for needles or nausea,' she says. 'But somehow, being a YouTuber kind of prepared me for cancer. The internet taught me how to sit in discomfort. And how to laugh through it.' Now in remission, Grace is taking to the stage with the kind of frank, hilarious and heartfelt storytelling that's won her legions of fans. In Let Me Get This Off My Chest, she explores everything from sick-day silver linings and body hair to existential dread and emotional carte blanche , AKA playing the cancer card. Having interviewed everyone from Chelsea Handler to The Rock, and penned two New York Times bestsellers (Grace's Guide and Grace & Style), Grace is now embracing live performance with the same openness and comic precision that made her a household name online. This is a show about loss, identity, recovery, and the weirdness of getting everything you wanted, only to find yourself missing the days you didn't have to pretend.

Roman Kemp reacts to Lord Alan Sugar's mockery of his haircut

Roman Kemp reacts to Lord Alan Sugar's mockery of his haircut undefined Roman Kemp (Image: PA ) Roman Kemp says he has "peaked" after Lord Alan Sugar mocked his haircut on X. The Apprentice boss criticised the 32-year-old TV presenter's "weird", "dead beaver Davy Crocket" trim as Roman hosted BBC One's The One Show on Tuesday (24.06.25). ‌ He wrote on the X: "What a weird haircut Roman Kemp has. ‌ "I know I am a bit old and out of touch with some things, but what is it. @BBCTheOneShow (sic)." However, Roman felt on top of the world after the business magnate "fired" his hair. Captioning a photo carousel of Lord Sugar's tweet, a shot of the Amstrad founder having a brown afro-like haircut, and Roman smiling in the back of a car, on Instagram, he wrote: "Well ... we've peaked. My hairs now been fired (sic)." Article continues below Roman left a comment on Lord Sugar's X post. He replied: "I've no idea on the true name Lord Sugar, please feel free to suggest one (sic)." And it did not take long before the businessman made a suggestion. ‌ Lord Sugar, 78, wrote: "Dead beaver Davy Crocket." Roman reacted to the name with a laughing face emoji. The media personality - who is a Tottenham Hotspur fan - received a lot of backlash after questioning Arsenal F.C. supporter Roman's choice of haircut. ‌ One person said on X: "@romankemp what a strange comment, unless there is some missed joke here, Roman seems a nice well-grounded lad ... "Maybe it's a Spurs/Arsenal thing? (sic)" Another X user wrote: "Why do you care about another man's hair?" ‌ And a third follower penned on the social media platform: "Far better than yours has been - yes you are out of touch." Roman's fans also jumped to his defence on Instagram. One user said: "RIP hair. I think it looks great." ‌ A second follower wrote: "He only wishes he was as handsome as you at your age. "I'd take it as a compliment that he's so bothered." And a third fan penned: "OMG HOW RUDE. Nothing wrong with your hair xx." ‌ Roman previously admitted he struggles to keep fans updated with his life events on social media platforms because he wants to maintain his privacy, as well as protect his family and friends. In May, he told the 30-year-old singer Tom Grennan on their 'You About?' podcast: "I'm terrified of doing it because I just think that you're letting everyone in. I struggle with it because I want people to know me. I'm not horrible, but I also want my private life. "It's also for the protection of other people. I think you wouldn't mind having your life on it but if there are people who are in your life, who aren't in the public eye, it's more for them. Article continues below "I also don't want to be sat there thinking, 'This would be a great Instagram picture.' I don't want to live my life like that."
