In an interview with The Quint, Apoorva shared that her mother faced constant underappreciation and struggled with low self-worth, despite doing everything for the family. Yet, she noted the irony of her mother praising her father for doing the bare minimum, saying, 'Oh my god, he has done so much.'
Apoorva also pointed out that while her mother never truly acknowledged her own hard work, she consistently encouraged her daughter to know her worth and never settle for less—breaking the cycle of self-neglect she had silently endured.
