Mohammad Rizwan In Disbelief After Getting Out For Golden Duck
Mohammad Rizwan came out to bat at No. 4 for Pakistan on Tuesday (August 12) against the West Indies in the third and final ODI of the ongoing three-match series, but he failed to open his account even in the series decider and got out for a first-ball duck. The captain of Pakistan's ODI side was clean bowled by fast bowler Jayden Seales, who then also picked up Babar Azam's wicket.
The former Pakistani all-format captain could only manage to score nine runs from 23 balls. He was trapped in front of the wickets by Seales on the second ball of the ninth over of the run chase.
Pakistani fans and team management had high expectations from Rizwan in the third ODI after the hosts rode on captain Shai Hope's unbeaten 120-run knock to post a total of 294 runs on the board for the loss of six wickets in 50 overs. But unlike Hope, Rizwan couldn't do anything in the match where his side needed him the most.
The clip of his stunned reaction after getting clean bowled by Seales was shared by fans on X, and within no time it went viral on the internet.

The star wicketkeeper-batter scored 53 runs for the Pakistani team in the series opener played at Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba on August 8 and got out for 16 runs in the second ODI.
Hope equals Lara's record
Hope entered his name in the history books by equalling Brian Lara's record of most centuries in ODIs as captain of the West Indies. Hope, who is leading the West Indies in the third ODI against Pakistan, completed his 18th ODI century in 83 balls.
He has scored five centuries in the 50-over format of the game as the skipper of the two-time ODI World Cup winners.
During his 17-year-long ODI career, Lara played 125 ODIs as captain of the West Indies and scored five centuries, whereas Hope has scored five centuries in just 38 matches as captain.
The overall record of scoring the most ODI centuries as captain is in the name of Ricky Ponting. Ponting played 230 ODIs as captain of the Australian team and scored 22 centuries.

Not Amitabh Bachchan Or Shah Rukh Khan! Ex-India Cricketer Admires Just One Actor, Has Watched His One Movie '200 Times'
A former India fast bowler professes his love for movies and music while revealing his all-time favourite movie is Mughal-e-Azam. Karsan Ghavri will go down in Indian cricket history as one of its finest utility players. Known for his fast bowling, Ghavri was more than a handy batter. Part of India's two World Cup campaigns (1975 and 1979), the left-arm pacer played 39 Tests and 19 ODIs between 1974 and 1981. He scored over 1000 runs and claimed 124 wickets during his international career. Numbers from his India career may not be outstanding, but Ghavri, on several occasions, produced several performances – with the bat and the ball. One of his most memorable shows was during a Test series against West Indies at home when he claimed 27 wickets. Then at the Sydney Test of 1981, he scored 64 runs on a challenging pitch and helped India secure a win by an innings and two runs. His career-best score of 86 came when batting at No. 9 in a massive innings win over Australia at Wankhede. With his medium pace, Ghavri took four five-wicket hauls and five four-wicket hauls. Besides cricket, Ghavri loves watching movies and his all-time favourite actor is the late Dilip Kumar. 'Dilip Kumar is the only actor I really admire, and I am a big fan. There are several great actors – Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjeev Kumar, Balraj Sahni. But from No. 1 to 10, it has to be only Dilip Kumar," Ghavri said on The Vickey Lalwani Show. 'Among the female actors, it varies. Waheeda Rahman and Vyjayanthimala – they are all great artists," he adds. When pressed on any female actor he admires from the current lot, Ghavri said, 'Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Kiara Advani now. They are very good, talented artists." Ghavri reveals to have watched Dilip-starrer Mughal-e-Azam 200 times and even today, he drops everything he's doing whenever the movie is on TV. 'Only one (favourite movie). Mughal-e-Azam. I have watched it at least 200 times. Maybe 10-20 times in theatres. Even if it's on TV today, I don't watch cricket or talk to anyone. I close the room and watch Mughal-e-Azam," he said. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Please keep discussions respectful and constructive. 'Tu kab se mera baap ban gaya?': How Irfan Pathan shut an abusive Shahid Afridi up completely
Irfan Pathan (L) has disclosed a heated exchange with Shahid Afridi (R) during the 2006 series. Former Indian cricket all-rounder Irfan Pathan has revealed details of a heated exchange with Pakistan's Shahid Afridi during a 2006 flight from Karachi to Lahore when both teams were traveling together. The incident, which occurred during India's tour of Pakistan, began when Afridi approached Pathan on the flight, messed up his hair, and called him a kid, leading to a verbal altercation between the two players. EXCLUSIVE | Harbhajan Singh on Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, India vs Pakistan and more The rivalry between Pathan and Afridi extended beyond this incident, with Pathan having significant success against Pakistan throughout his career. He claimed 67 wickets across formats and scored 807 runs, including a century, against the arch-rivals. Pathan notably dismissed Afridi for a golden duck during the 2007 T20 World Cup final, adding to their on-field battles. "During the 2006 tour, we were travelling by flight from Karachi to Lahore. Both teams were travelling together. Afridi came and placed his hand on my head, messing up my hair. He asked me, 'How are you kid?' I said, 'Since when have you become my father?'. The childish behaviour was actually his. He was not my friend. After that, Afridi said some abusive words to me. His seat was right next to mine," Pathan recounted on Lallantop. The incident escalated when Pathan engaged in conversation with Pakistani all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, who was seated next to him during the flight. The discussion took an unexpected turn when Pathan inquired about local meat varieties. "Abdul Razzaq was sitting with me then. I asked him what kind of meat is available here. He told me about the different kinds of meat. Then I asked if dog meat was available. Afridi was sitting right there. Razzaq was shocked to hear this and said, 'Hey Irfan, why are you saying this?'" Pathan detailed. "I said, 'He (Afridi) has eaten dog meat, he has been barking for a long time.' After that, Afridi couldn't say anything. Whatever he might have said, I would have just said, 'Look, he is barking again.' After this, he remained silent throughout the flight. From this incident, he understood that he could not win against me verbally. That's why he never said anything to me again," Pathan explained.
