Is Lady Gaga in ‘Wednesday' Season 2 Part 1?
Wednesday season two has officially arrived on Netflix, welcoming us back to the world of Nevermore Academy as Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to school for another year. When season two was first announced the streamer also announced a bunch of exciting new cast members who would be joining the lineup including Lady Gaga, Thandiwe Newton, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Heather Matarazzo, and Dame Joanna Lumley. And now that the first four episodes are out on Netflix, we've been able to see these new characters in action. Well, except for one major exception. Lady Gaga is nowhere to be seen (and no she's not invisible likes Agnes either). So why is the icon missing from the first half of Wednesday season 2? Here's what you need to know. All the way back in season 1, Lady Gaga had a majorly unexpected involvement in the show, thanks to her song 'Bloody Mary' going viral after Wednesday danced to it during one of the scenes. Following this, in November of 2024, it was announced that Lady Gaga would be joining the cast in an undisclosed role in season 2. And so given this, we were all very hyped up to see the singer make an appearance during the season. However, as the show is being split in two, it turns out Gaga won't actually be starring in the first half. Given how she was absent for the premiere and all the press junkets for Wednesday so far, it's perhaps not surprising that she didn't appear in the first four episodes which came out on Wednesday, Aug. 6. One thing we do know is Lady Gaga is reportedly said to have a new song debuting in Wednesday season 2 part 2, which will coincide with her guest star role. Tim Burton recently spoke about Gaga's involvement in the series, telling Variety: 'She's such an artist and so for me, working with an artist is inspirational.' When she does eventually make her appearance in the second half of Wednesday season 2, we do know who she will be playing. Back in May 2025 at Netflix's live Tudum event, the streamer confirmed Lady Gaga will be playing 'the mysterious and enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.' Given the words 'legendary' some fans have theorized this means Gaga's character is not alive and instead could appear as a spirit of some kind. Either way we're really hoping a duet with Wednesday is on the cards.

Adam Sandler Reveals How He Got Eminem to Make a Cameo in ‘Happy Gilmore 2'
Happy Gilmore 2 boasts a plethora of cameos, with one of the standouts being Eminem. Adam Sandler joined The Dan Patrick Show earlier in July, where he revealed how he got Slim Shady to be involved with the anticipated Netflix sequel. Sandler admitted he hates bugging his friends for cameos, and was reluctant to reach out to Em for the film. ''I love Eminem. I'm friends with Eminem, but I don't want to bother the man,' he said in the interview. 'And everybody kept saying, 'Man, Eminem would be so funny in this part.' I was like, 'I don't want to ruin this guy's time. He's hanging out. He's in Detroit. He's doing his life making records.'' 'Let me bug Marshall and give him a call and say, 'Dude, I know it's a pain in the a—, but it's pretty funny. You mind shooting out to us for a day?'' To which Eminem obliged, apparently saying ''Yeah, send me the stuff.'' Fans of the original 1996 comedy will remember the character of Donald, portrayed by the late comedian Joe Flaherty, who repeatedly interrupts Happy's backswing, calling him a 'jacka—.' In the new film, Eminem plays Donald's son, who returns to heckle the golfer in his father's honor. Sandler also recalled meeting Eminem on the set of Saturday Night Live when he was no longer part of the cast in 1999. Em referred to Sandler as his Waterboy character, Bobby Boucher. 'I remember the first time I met him. I was at SNL. I wasn't on the show anymore,' he said. 'And I was at a table with all my guys and he was the musical guest with [Dr. Dre] and we were at the afterparty, and then Marshall walked by our table and he looked at me and I looked at him like, 'Oh yeah, that kid's pretty damn cool.' And then he goes 'Bobby Boucher! I go, 'Oh yes, that's what's up, Marshall.' And then we became friendly after that.' With Happy Gilmore 2 hitting Netflix, it's not the first time Sandler and Eminem have co-starred, as the rap icon also appeared in 2009's Funny People with Sandman. Eminem's ‘Happy Gilmore 2' Role Revealed as Son of Legendary Character From 1996 Original Film
Eminem is among the plethora of superstar cameos in Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore 2 movie, which landed on Netflix Friday (July 25). Slim Shady got back into his acting bag with a small role that actually pays homage to the 1996 original, as he plays the son of Donald, who was the character portrayed by the late comedian Joe Flaherty. The Detroit legend tells Gilmore he wishes his father were still around, but 'he's in the great sizzler in the sky.' The two nearly came to blows again after Gilmore blew another shot. While Happy's not allowed to hit Eminem since he'll end up back in jail, luckily, this time around, his children are there to take care of Em. 'I know a lot about fighting,' Em hilariously said. 'I'll bite your leg off.' Unfortunately, none of that training worked out for Eminem, as he was lifted and dumped into a nearby lake and met his demise thanks to some alligators swimming nearby. Even Cam'ron — who also appears in the film — laughed at Em getting torn up by the gators. Em and Cam are far from the only music-related cameos in HG2, as Bad Bunny, who shines as Gilmore's caddy, Kid Cudi and Post Malone all make appearances. Eminem hasn't dabbled much in Hollywood in recent years. In 2021, he starred in an episode of BMF as 'White Boy Rick,' and of course, starred as Rabbit in 2002's 8 Mile, for which he won the 2003 best original song Oscar for 'Lose Yourself.'
