Is Lady Gaga in ‘Wednesday' Season 2 Part 1?

Cosmopolitan15 hours ago
Wednesday season two has officially arrived on Netflix, welcoming us back to the world of Nevermore Academy as Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returns to school for another year.
When season two was first announced the streamer also announced a bunch of exciting new cast members who would be joining the lineup including Lady Gaga, Thandiwe Newton, Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Heather Matarazzo, and Dame Joanna Lumley. And now that the first four episodes are out on Netflix, we've been able to see these new characters in action.
Well, except for one major exception. Lady Gaga is nowhere to be seen (and no she's not invisible likes Agnes either). So why is the icon missing from the first half of Wednesday season 2? Here's what you need to know.
All the way back in season 1, Lady Gaga had a majorly unexpected involvement in the show, thanks to her song 'Bloody Mary' going viral after Wednesday danced to it during one of the scenes.
Following this, in November of 2024, it was announced that Lady Gaga would be joining the cast in an undisclosed role in season 2.
And so given this, we were all very hyped up to see the singer make an appearance during the season. However, as the show is being split in two, it turns out Gaga won't actually be starring in the first half.
Given how she was absent for the premiere and all the press junkets for Wednesday so far, it's perhaps not surprising that she didn't appear in the first four episodes which came out on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
One thing we do know is Lady Gaga is reportedly said to have a new song debuting in Wednesday season 2 part 2, which will coincide with her guest star role.
Tim Burton recently spoke about Gaga's involvement in the series, telling Variety: 'She's such an artist and so for me, working with an artist is inspirational.'
When she does eventually make her appearance in the second half of Wednesday season 2, we do know who she will be playing.
Back in May 2025 at Netflix's live Tudum event, the streamer confirmed Lady Gaga will be playing 'the mysterious and enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.'
Given the words 'legendary' some fans have theorized this means Gaga's character is not alive and instead could appear as a spirit of some kind.
Either way we're really hoping a duet with Wednesday is on the cards.

Netflix just dropped a trailer for a new feel-good romantic comedy with Miranda Cosgrove — and it looks like guilty pleasure material

Mere days after releasing "My Oxford Year," Netflix has dropped a trailer for another destination romance. Introducing: "The Wrong Paris." Don't go in expecting the same kind of romantic drama, though: Janeen Damian's forthcoming watch isn't the same kind of love story. Instead, "The Wrong Paris" is a romantic comedy that sees Dawn ("iCarly's" Miranda Cosgrove) catching feelings for an eligible Texan bachelor (Pierson Fodé) after a dating show mishap. Dawn's keen to attend a French art school (one that she simply cannot afford to attend). At the suggestion of her friends, she auditions for "The Honey Pot," a dating show that should offer her a free trip to Paris. When she steps off the plane, she finds herself just a few miles from her hometown in Paris, Texas, and tangled up in a "Bachelor"-style dating show, vying for the affection of Trey McAllen. Chaos ensues, and sparks (inevitably) start to fly. Judging by the trailer alone, "The Wrong Paris" looks like it's primed to be my next guilty pleasure Netflix watch. The vibe is feel-good, cheesy romance mixed with silly comedy. I highly doubt "The Wrong Paris" is about to become Netflix's next critical darling or bag an Oscar, but this new release could well be a breezy watch for rom-com fans. And judging by the reactions in the comments on YouTube, plenty of fans can't wait to stream it, either. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. If Netflix's new romantic comedy belongs on your watchlist, you don't have to wait long to stream it. "The Wrong Paris" starts streaming on Netflix from Friday, September 12, 2025. Netflix has shared a brief logline for "The Wrong Paris," but it doesn't give much more away about the new film. It reads: "She signed up for Paris, France. She got Paris, Texas. In this feel-good Netflix romantic comedy, Miranda Cosgrove plays an aspiring artist who joins a dating show hoping for a free trip to Paris, France, but ends up just a few miles from her hometown in Paris, Texas. What starts as a plan to get eliminated takes an unexpected turn when sparks fly with the bachelor (Pierson Fodé)." In addition to Cosgrove and Fodé, "The Wrong Paris" also stars Madison Pettis, Madeleine Arthur, Frances Fisher, Yvonne Orji, Torrance Coombs, Christin Park, Emilija Baranac, and Hannah Stocking. Who Is Wednesday's Stalker In Season 2?

This article contains spoilers. There's not much that can get passed Wednesday Addams, and season two, part one proves to be no exception. Since the release of the latest season on August 6, we've been transported back into the mystical world of Nevermore Academy's finest. Early in the season, it's clear that someone is stalking Wednesday, though it doesn't take long for her to unravel the mystery. After sending anonymous cryptic letters that detail an unhealthy obsession with her, as well as photographs, the stalker's actions intensify when they kidnap and nearly kill Enid. By the second episode we learn that the stalker is none other than Agnes (Evie Templeton), whose obsession with Wednesday began the previous year at Nevermore Academy after she saved the school from a demon at the end of season one. Following this, Wednesday quickly rises as one of Nevermore's most popular students, due to her exceptional abilities. But if there's one thing she hates more than colour, it's unwanted attention and being put on a pedestal. Agnes is an outcast who has the power to turn invisible. It's this ability that enabled her to trick Enid in the second episode, so much so, that only Wednesday could figure out the cryptic mystery. The answer? A missing book: The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells – fitting, given Agnes' talent for going unseen. Once Wednesday uncovers the misplaced book, Agnes eventually releases Enid and Bruno, insisting that it was a harmless joke for Prank Day that she orchestrated in the hopes of impressing Wednesday. Understandably, no one is accepting of Agnes' answer given the extreme harm and danger that the 'prank' put not only Enid in, but also Wednesday and Bruno. Nevertheless, Wednesday decides to befriend her stalker – whether it is to keep her enemy closer is yet to be revealed. ELLE Collective is a new community of fashion, beauty and culture lovers.
