The $14 item from Kmart that's a 'perfect dupe' of wildly popular $200 version: 'Pretty good'
A $14 must-have item from Kmart has been hailed the perfect 'dupe' for a $200 version sold by a popular homeware brand.
Aussie shopper Celine Clark was recently walking through a Kmart store when she spotted an instantly recognisable item on the racks.
Sharing her bargain sleepwear find, the fashion content creator declared that she'd 'been waiting for the day that Kmart came out with a Hommey dupe'.
'About damn time,' Celine said in the video.
Hommey is selling the Sleep Pant and Sleep Shirt featuring a distinct striped pattern, each sold separately for $99, totaling $198 for the set.
The Melbourne lifestyle brand is known for its colourful sleepwear, along with stylish items for everyday living - including quilt covers, cushions, robes, towels and more.
Shoppers who can't fork out hundreds of dollars are in luck as Kmart is offering a similar-looking sky-blue pyjama set with pinstripes for a fraction of the price.
Celine was most surprised by the price of the flannel sleepwear.
'I mean, for $14 for like a dupe. I thought this was pretty good,' Celine said.
Aussie shopper Celine Clark spotted the Family Matching Printed Flannel Pyjama Set, $14 (left) in Kmart. It was reminiscent of the Hommey Sleep Pant, $99 and Sleep Shirt, $99 (right) pictured here in the Iced Chocolate Stripes version
The fashion content creator proceeded to 'try on' the blue striped sleepwear set, praising it as a 'cosy' flannelette.
The Aussie shopper was also impressed by the 'nice' and 'long' length in the pants.
'They're really warm. I love the colour palette,' she raved.
Celine did however note that the sizing ran on the bigger side - and that even though she'd selected a small, it was 'quite stretchy in the waist'.
'I probably could have gone with a smaller size if they'd had it,' she said.
Celine, who regularly shares videos of her fashion buys on her social media account, said during her shop, she also stumbled upon the same pyjamas - but in the Kmart kids' section.
Both the Kmart Family Matching Printed Flannel Pyjama Set, $14 (left) and the Hommey Sleep Pant, $99 and Sleep Shirt, $99 in Stripes (right) feature full-length pants, long sleeves and a distinct pin striped pattern
She explained that she later realised the PJs were part of a 'family matching' set, meaning they were also stocked in women's, men's and children's sizes.
'If you have a family, how cute, having matching pajamas,' Celine said in the video.
For a family of four, the price point of the Kmart pyjamas means that the entire household could be kitted out in the same matching nightwear outfit for under $60.
'C'mon guys, $14 I just can't get past it,' Celine said at the conclusion of her video. 'I just thought that for $14 I just had to share.
'Kmart coming through with the goods. Am I surprised? No.'
The video has racked up over a thousand likes with the comment section filled with replies from excited shoppers hoping to nab the winter buy.
'These are so cute!! Love this colour, running to Kmart,' read one reply.
'I need these,' added another.
'Grabbing one,' chimed in a third.
The latest sleepwear dupe comes over a year after eagle-eyed Kmart shoppers spotted a pair of satin pyjamas that closely resembled a popular pair stocked in Peter Alexander.
Shoppers at the time noted that Kmart's $25 Long Sleeve Top and Pants Satin Pyjama Set in a navy colour with white piping detail were the spitting image of a far pricier set stocked at the designer sleepwear retailer.

UK pop star Rita Ora reveals the surprising gift she took home from her time Down Under: 'It's your fault, Australia'
UK pop star has revealed a very surprising gift that she took home during her recent stint Down Under. The Lonely Together hitmaker, 34, was a coach on Channel Seven series The Voice from 2021 to 2023. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph about her latest sultry single Heat, Rita revealed that Australia was to thank for her stunning beach bod. The clip for Rita's new single features the bikini clad popstar sunning herself on Miami beach. While she may also often flaunt her svelte bikini-clad frame on social media, the popstar revealed it hasn't always been the case. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Asked by the publication if she was 'born in a bikini', Rita admitted she only started to feel comfortable in swimwear after her Australian jaunt. 'Everyone's been asking me that,' Rita exclaimed. 'When I first got there to do The Voice, my health life changed drastically so I feel like I found my bikini bod in Australia, genuinely.' She added that she was inspired to take a more active approach to her fitness after catching a glimpse of the Australian lifestyle. 'I started exercising, sitting in the sun, seeing how fit everyone else is in Australia when they're walking down the beach,' she said. 'So it's your fault, Australia, you've made me just wear a bikini.' It comes after Rita set pulses racing with a very cheeky display to promote the single earlier this week. She made sure all eyes were on her as she posed up a storm in the tiny This Belongs To shorts that she paired with a hot pink bikini. Rita layered a white strappy body suit over her diamante swimwear all from the same brand and added inches to her physique with a pair of strappy heeled sandals. To accessorise, the songstress wore a pair of large white Pucci sunglasses and colourful hoop earrings. Heat is expected to feature on her upcoming, still untitled, fourth album, which will be her first album release since her 2023 You & I. Rita has recently been supporting Kylie Minogue for the first leg of her tour after she previously revealed that Kylie's 2023 mega-hit from Tension, Padam Padam, was nearly given to her. The synth-pop banger - penned by Norwegian singer-songwriter Ina Wroldsen and producer Lostboy - was a viral hit for Kylie. But several artists were asked if they wanted to record it, including the Anywhere singer, because they didn't feel it was a Kylie song. Lostboy told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: 'We wrote Padam in February 2022 and there were maybe four or five months of us sitting on it, then I sent it to their label, and someone suggested to me, "Kylie would kill this."' He added: 'They were unsure and there was a moment when Rita was going to cut it and it was worming around a few artists on that label. 'They were trying to make it work but they didn't think it was for Kylie.' Rita is well-known to Australian audiences for her role as a judge on The Voice from 2021 to 2023. She appeared as a panellist on the UK version of the show since it launched its first episode in 2020, before she was replaced by Maya Jama this year. Elsewhere, 2023 was Rita's first appearance on the US version of the show as she replaced Nicole Scherzinger, who left to star in the West End hit Sunset Boulevard. She also tied the knot with New Zealand director Taika Waititi in a low-key ceremony back in 2022. While the couple live between London, Los Angeles and New Zealand, they have been spending more time Down Under as they both work on creative projects.

How to wear white denim and not look naff, from £45
In this era of guilt-inducing consumption, it's good to find desirable items with proven longevity. White jeans, for instance. Liz Hurley was on to something all those years ago – although she was ridiculed because of her dedication to the white skinny denim cause. What's changed in the 30-plus-year interim to make them a bona fide classic? Not the fabrications, that's for sure. So how did they make the mighty journey from sartorially dodgy to Alexa Chung? When people say nothing changes in fashion, they're not digging deep enough. Sure, you could wear certain items from any decade in the past six or seven, and make them work. But they may operate in different ways, their connotations and subtext might be different. White handbags were once a quaint peccadillo of Princess Margaret. White shoes, especially in winter, were Bet Lynch territory. But then Kim Kardashian started appropriating some of Bet's looks and Made in Chelsea types borrowed from Kim and everyone got very confused about what is and isn't naff. There are quite a few white staples that were once no-go areas, like white nail varnish. Not everything white goes in the same positive direction, however. Ultra-white teeth were the preserve of clueless, rich Hollywood types. Not good. They still are but now they reek of one-colour-fits-all chain-store dentistry. Not any better. Where it all went right for white denim, I think, is with Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. Where Hurley and co's white denim dressing looked a bit effortful (always with heels, big hair and carefully applied make-up), CBK's was outdoorsy, carefree, effortless, peak Nantucket. If you feel the cold horribly, like me, white jeans mean you can carry on wearing jumpers, blazers, cropped tweed jackets and still give off vaguely summery vibes. You can wear all your favourite classics – monochromatic stripes, tan accessories (white with white is too much), button-down shirts – and provided your denim is reasonably loose and slouchy, especially on the legs, none of it will look old. But if you want to make things a little more interesting, try adding some tufty texture on top, or a fringe-trimmed bag; thread a scarf through the belt loops; throw on a cropped or lightweight khaki trench à la Chung, or some asymmetric or long shirting, finishing off with velvet Venetian slippers (in case you were thinking of splurging £1,100 on The Row's, may I suggest the real thing, from Piedaterre, in many colours, for around £120). As for the actual denim: there is so much good stuff, from barrel legs at DL1961, which use 100 times less water than the average in their production, to M&S's version (only available in store at the moment because of their computer flame-out). Wear your white denims for the next decade at least and keep them white by soaking them overnight in water and white vinegar, and the next time they need repairing, investigate the art of sashiko (Japanese darning). Ways to style your jeans... Look one: Look two: Look three: Look four: Lisa wears: Cropped linen utility jacket, £199, Jigsaw; Cropped fray-edge jeans, £265, Mother; Strappy shoes, £160, Sézane; Cellulose acetate sunglasses, £150, Cubitts; Silver plated earrings, £150, Soeur; Sterling-silver bangle, £250, Giovanni Raspini; Silk scarf, £90, Whistles; Leather bag, £420, Polene
