Warwick Davis' daughter shows off new boyfriend as dad finds love after mum's death

Harry Potter star Warwick Davis' daughter Annabelle Davis has shared a sweet moment with her rarely seen boyfriend as the actor moves on following his wife Samantha's death
Warwick Davis' daughter Annabelle has shared a loved up snap with her rarely seen boyfriend as the family support each other after wife Samantha's death. The actress, 28, first went public with her romance in 2021 but gives only small glimpses of their life together.

Annabelle and boyfriend Charlie headed to a summer event together, where they shared a cosy moment together. The Dumping Ground star looked gorgeous in a pink floral dress as she gazed lovingly into Charlie's eyes.

Charlie, who works as a music producer and photographer, appeared smart as he wore a navy suit and pink tie to match Annabelle's dress. It comes after Warwick revealed earlier this year that he had found love again one year after his wife's tragic death.

Annabelle and Charlie bonded over their shared love of creativity and caravanning, having carried on the Davis' holiday tradition.
Her dad Warwick's wife Samantha, who he affectionately called Sammy, died aged 53 last spring after following complications after spinal surgery. While at the BAFTAs in February, Warwick revealed he had found love again.

During his emotional Fellowship award speech, he cryptically gave a shout out to someone named 'Sponge'. He said: "Special mention should go to Sponge, you know who you are.
"Thank you for showing me that life can still have meaning and for helping me to laugh and to love again." Warwick was later quizzed over who Sponge is while on the Jonathan Ross Show.
He replied: "I can reveal, sticking with the Harry Potter theme, Sponge is indeed She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named." However, Warwick did make a reference to Daisy May Cooper's This Country character Kerry Mucklowe as he shared more about the mystery lady.

The Harry Potter actor added: "Sponge very much reminds me of Kerry. Some of the things she says and her accent." Warwick paid tribute to Samantha during his BAFTAs speech, as his children Annabelle and Harrison sat in the front row.
He became tearful as he shared: "When you go through your career as an actor, you sometimes become a bit reluctant to do certain jobs thinking another one will come along and be a bit better.

"She [Samantha] would always say 'get out there and do it'. She was great at networking as well, always talking to producers and getting me the work in the next job. Very supportive.
"You need that in this business because it is difficult. You've got to have someone who is very supportive of you being away on occasions and working ridiculous hours."
This year, an inquest concluded that Samantha died in March 2024 as a result of a cardiac arrest following complications of essential surgery. Warwick's legal team have launched an investigation into whether Samantha died of alleged medical negligence.
Warwick and Samantha first locked eyes on the set of the 1988 fantasy film Willow when he was just 17 and she 16. The teenage Warwick was by then already a rising star, having found fame as Ewok Wicket in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, while Samantha had previously worked on the 1986 cult classic Labyrinth alongside her famous father, Peter Burroughs. They married in the summer of 1991.

Dame Emma Thompson shares surprising reality of her Harry Potter appearance

Dame Emma Thompson has opened up about her Harry Potter appearance (Picture: Murray Close/ Getty Images) Dame Emma Thompson, who played Professor Trelawney in Harry Potter, has made a confession about the film that will leave Potterheads in tears. The Harry Potter film franchise was a decade-long success that was jam-packed with almost every single British actor who was working at the time. Fiona Shaw, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Julie Walters, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon, and Gary Oldman were among the many actors to grace the screen in the eight-part franchise. One of the most beloved performances in the series came from Dame Emma Thompson, who played the Divination Professor, Sybil Trelawney. The character was a loopy caricature of a somewhat fraudulent fortune-teller who predicted death in every lesson and came across as pretty darn bonkers – but harmless, making her a fan-favourite character in the franchise. However, while the character may have played a key role in the films and be totally beloved by fans, Dame Emma, 66, confessed that Potter doesn't have a huge place in her heart. The actress has had a long and impressive career outside of Potter (Picture: Anthony Harvey/REX/Shutterstock) The actor made her debut in the franchise in 2003 in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban (Picture: Murray Close/ Getty Images) 'It's not really an important part of my creative endeavours,' she confessed while at the Locarno Film Festival, where this year she was a guest of honour, as reported by Deadline. 'I'm really sorry,' added to any Potter fans in the audience. 'I don't mean to be rude to those of you who like Harry Potter, but you know, I came in, did a bit with glasses and a lot of hair, and then left having been quite well paid.' The actress first appeared in the third Potter movie in the franchise, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. She later reprised the role in the fifth and eighth movies in the franchise; The Order of Phoenix and The Deathly Hallows Part 2. Dame Emma's ex Sir Kenneth Branagh (R) starred in the second movie as Gilderoy Lockhart (Picture: Warner Bros) The star's appearance in the film series was particularly notable as she joined the franchise after her ex-husband, Sir Kenneth Branagh, who played Gilderoy Lockhart in the second film, Chamber of Secrets. The fifth film also saw Helena Bonham-Carter join the movies as Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange. Dame Emma and Sir Kenneth's six-year marriage ended in 1995 as a result of the apparent unfaithfulness, which came after Sir Kenneth and Helena appeared together in 1994's Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Helena Bonham Carter played Bellatrix Lestrange in the films (Picture: Murray Close/ Getty Images) He publicly dated Helena until 1999 when the pair split after six years together. In 2022, Dame Emma told the New Yorker: 'I was utterly, utterly blind to the fact that he had relationships with other women on set. What I learned was how easy it is to be blinded by your own desire to deceive yourself.' She has been married for 27 years to her Sense and Sensibility co-star and now-husband Greg Wise. Got a story? TV bosses ask Londoners to star in upcoming Harry Potter series with filming to start at end of month in London

THE upcoming Harry Potter TV series is about to start shooting in the capital – but it's not just the stars who will be involved in filming. We've been told Network Rail staff have been approached to appear as extras when the HBO show starts filming scenes featuring the Hogwarts Express locomotive. 7 Network Rail staff have been approached to appear as extras when the HBO show starts filming scenes featuring the Hogwarts Express locomotive Credit: Alamy 7 Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry Potter in the HBO series Credit: Aidan Monaghan/HBO via AP The scenes will be shot from August 23 to 25, with staff receiving chances to get their five minutes of fame on screen in the series. A source said: 'The magic of Harry Potter is alive in London and bosses want to help people's dreams come true. They've called out for Network Rail staff to appear as extras in scenes which will be filmed at a station later this month. 'It's been really successful and they have had loads of interest from people who work as conductors and controllers who are keen to get their faces on screen. 'This telly series is a surefire mega-hit so it's not surprising their call-out has proved massively popular. "Bosses at HBO know there's nothing better than having real people in on the action as it will all look totally natural.' And if they are going for this realistic look, I'll be expecting the Hogwarts Express to be delayed on the first day of filming because the wrong kind of summer heat has ruined the train tracks. Oh and the air-conditioning definitely won't be working. A last-minute alteration on platform 9¾ wouldn't appear too much of a stretch either. Show makers HBO previously confirmed they will use an old steam train that was rescued from a scrap heap in Barry Island in Wales as the magical locomotive. The train is currently green, but bosses are staying tight-lipped about whether they will repaint it to match the locomotive seen in the hit Noughties films, which are based on JK Rowling's best-selling books. The first series is expected to run for eight episodes and has been scripted from the first book, Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone. Rising star JK's debut novel was originally released in 1997, while the blockbuster film came out four years later in 2001. The films turned Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint into household names thanks to their portrayals of young wizard Harry and his pals Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. This time around rising star Dominic McLaughlin will play Harry, Alastair Stout is taking on Ron and Arabella Stanton is in place as Hermione. Give it a year or so and they will be some of the most recognised young stars in the country. OZZY WAS MY BLUD BROTHER YUNGBLUD has opened up about the death of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. The pair became close pals over the past few years, with the rapper – real name Dominic Harrison – doing a cameo at Ozzy and Black Sabbath's Back To The Beginning show at Villa Park in Birmingham last month, days before the rock legend passed. Yungblud, who coverd Black Sabbath's Changes at the gig, said: 'I thought Ozzy had another five albums in him. And then he did the show and then he died. 'I just love him and right till the end he supported me. He taught me self-belief and I'm going to take his spirit and make sure everybody knows who Ozzy was.' NELLY FURTADO looked to have taken inspiration from her Noughties hit I'm Like A Bird when she took to the stage at Boardmasters in green winged sleeves. The American star performed some of her best-loved hits, including Say It Right and Maneater, at the festival headlined by The Prodigy. 7 Nelly Furtado looked to have taken inspiration from her Noughties hit I'm Like A Bird when she took to the stage at Boardmasters in green winged sleeves Credit: Dave Nelson Raye, Central Cee and Rizzle Kicks were also on the bill at the surfing and event, which takes place across the gorgeous Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach in Cornwall. Katy B was a surprise guest for Nelly at the show and the pair's duet of I'm Like A Bird went down a storm with fans at the festival. Nelly certainly didn't need those wings to rise any higher. Perrie's fringe festival PERRIE EDWARDS strikes gold with her fans by hitting the stage in a shiny tassled outfit. The former Little Mix singer played Ascot Racecourse, where she blasted out songs for the adoring crowd. 7 Perrie Edwards strikes gold with her fans by hitting the stage in a shiny tassled outfit. She sang tunes including her former band's classic 2016 single Shout Out To My Ex. After her brilliant show, Perrie wrote on Instagram yesterday: 'Last night was magic.' Her Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock also performed this weekend with a set at Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall. Perrie, who is engaged to former Liverpool footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, released her first solo tunes last year, and is set to release her debut album this year. She has also landed a £300,000 deal with beauty giant L'Oreal's skincare brand CeraVe. Things are certainly looking pretty for Perrie. KYLIE TO GET MORE A-TENSION KYLIE MINOGUE is on the cusp of releasing a new album . . . but there's a twist. Rather than it being her third studio release in three years, the new record will be a live collection – which was made during her Tension world tour, which ends on August 26 in Mexico. 7 Kylie Minogue is on the cusp of releasing a new album . . . but there's a twist Credit: Shutterstock Editorial It will mark the end of this era of Kylie's music, which has seen her finally crack America with mega-hit Padam Padam and dominate the airwaves with hit after hit. The insider added: 'The album and Tension II both surpassed all expectations for Kylie. She is on top of the world.'
