Rob Lowe dressed as the Easter Bunny with help from Chris Pratt. It didn't go well

NBC News21-04-2025
Rob Lowe and Chris Pratt, former co-stars on the popular 'Parks and Recreation' television series, teamed up over the weekend for some hilarious Easter hijinks ... with less-than-positive results.
In an Instagram reel shared on April 21 by his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, Pratt helped Lowe shimmy his way into an Easter Bunny costume, complete with a faux jacket, shirt, vest and tie. And of course no Easter Bunny costume is complete without a giant bunny head.
'This is a sight,' Schwarzenegger Pratt said while filming the video. 'Rob, this is incredible.'
Next, the video showed a fully costumed bunny (presumably Lowe), hopping around a lawn and scattering plastic Easter eggs. As he waggled his bunny tail, children were screaming and crying in the background.
Apparently the Rob Lowe charm that infuses so many of his on-screen characters didn't shine through his giant bunny head to reach a pint-sized audience.
Realizing that he may need to cut his appearance short, Lowe sped up the process by turning his Easter bag upside down and dumping out all the eggs at once. He straightened his head, waved, blew a kiss and hopped away.
As he hopped out of sight, someone said, 'He's going to be sweating. For sure.'
Next, the video cut to Lowe standing at a breakfast table surrounded by adults. He panted as he said, 'I just hopped on over when I heard he was here.'
'Oh, you missed him!' Pratt joked.
Though the kids aren't shown in the video, the three Schwarzenegger Pratt children are Lyla Maria, 4, Eloise Christina, almost 3, and Ford Fitzgerald, 5 months. Pratt also has a 14-year-old son, Jack, from his first marriage to actor Anna Faris.
Lowe has two adult sons — Matthew and John Owen — with longtime wife Sheryl Berkoff. John Owen Lowe, who starred with his dad in their Netflix show, 'Unstable,' loves to troll his dad online.

Gal Gadot backpedals her comment blaming anti-Israel sentiment for Snow White box office failure

Gal Gadot recently pointed to anti-Israel sentiment for the box office failure of the live-action remake of Disney's Snow White. And now, the 40-year-old Israeli actress is backpedaling on her statement. After a clip of her discussing the film's low turnout with Israeli TV show The A Talks circulated on Friday, she used Instagram to clarify her comments on Sunday. The Wonder Woman star wrote to her 107 million followers: 'I was honored to join an extraordinary interview with inspiring interviewers, whose questions go straight to the heart. 'Sometimes we respond to questions from an emotional place. When the film came out, I felt that those who are against Israel criticized me in a very personal, almost visceral way.' Gal noted, 'They saw me, first and foremost, as an Israeli, not as an actress. That's the perspective I spoke from when I answered the question.' And she wrote via Instagram Stories, 'Of course, the film didn't fail solely because of external pressures. 'There are many factors that determine why a film succeeds or fails. Success is never guaranteed.' Gal starred in the film opposite 24-year-old Rachel Zegler, whose 'free Palestine' comment divided fans ahead of Snow White's release. It was widely speculated that there was a behind-the-scenes clash between the film's two leading stars. The so-called 'feud' was believed to be over their opposing views on Israel's bombardment of Palestine. Despite the heavily rumored friction, the two ladies were pleasant and professional while promoting their movie, which came out on March 21. There was previously controversy surrounding the remake of the classic cartoon as the studio gave it a politically correct revamp. In 2022 Rachel supported the contemporary take on the tale, telling Vanity Fair, 'It needed that.' Actor Peter Dinklage also weighed in, slamming Disney for remaking what he called a 'f***ing backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together.' Amid the backlash, the large scale premiere meant to be held at Leicester Square in London was cancelled. 'Disney are already anticipating an anti-woke backlash against Snow White and have reduced the media schedule to just a handful of tightly controlled press events,' a source told People at the time. It was added: 'That is why they have taken the highly unusual step not to host a London premiere for the film and are minimizing the amount of press questions that Rachel Zegler gets.' Gal said in her viral interview, 'I was sure this movie was going to be a huge hit. And then…it happened,' referring to the October 7, 2023 Hamas attacks that provoked Israel's latest onslaught on Gaza. 'And you know, this happens a lot in various industries, including Hollywood: there's pressure on celebrities to speak against Israel,' she alleged. Speaking to an audience of people in Israel, she said, 'I can always explain and try to give context about what's happening here, and I always do that. 'But in the end, people make their own decisions. And I was disappointed the movie was so affected and it didn't succeed at the box office. But that's how it goes.'

Kristen Bell says husband Dax Shepard was 'screaming' over her steamy on-screen kiss with Adam Brody

Kristen Bell said her husband, Dax Shepard, couldn't get enough of her on-screen kiss with Adam Brody — and even celebrated it with his friends. While speaking at the inaugural Televerse event in Los Angeles on Friday, the actress, 45, revealed that her spouse, 50, was on an off-roading trip when Netflix dropped season one of her hit series Nobody Wants This. Even miles away, he still found a way to show his support by sending her a voice memo. Over background music from the scene — and 'screaming' of 'Oh my god!' — Bell said she got to hear Shepard and his buddies cheering as her character, Joanne, finally locked lips with Noah (Brody). Looking back on it, the mom-of-two said his excitement 'says a lot' about how invested he was in the fictional couple's romance. In the scene, Noah and Joanne are talking on the street when he tells her to put down her ice cream and bag so he can kiss her. Both Brody and Bell revealed that the script described it as 'the world's greatest kiss,' which only raised the stakes and their nerves. Bell joked that the scene came with 'max pressure' and that she and Brody were determined to do it justice. 'In the [first kiss] moment, it is meant to give the audience the passion of these two people and their comfort together, because comfort can be incredibly passionate,' Bell explained. 'It's a deep, beautiful emotion, and we don't associate it with kissing very much.' After each take, she recalls running over to Foster and asking: 'Was it cute? Was it hot? Did you like it?' When asked why she scripted it as 'the world's greatest kiss' without any further instructions, Foster admitted that she gets self conscious writing 'sexy moments' and using 'romance novel lingo.' 'I don't know how to say, he sweeps his hands in her hair and she locks eyes... that just weirds me out!' she confessed. 'I think that was more laziness on my part. But there was definitely some strategy behind the kiss.' She went on to say that the kiss was designed to anchor the story. 'I think that sometimes as women, there's sort of a universal language that we all know with each other. We have a responsibility when we're creating something that we are telling the narrative of romance to young women,' she told the audience. 'And a lot of it is, have you know their habits that you sort of don't want to emulate, and the idea of showing women a healthy relationship.' She continued: 'Sometimes as a woman, we want men to talk to us like we're a little delicate and strong, and to support us.' As the series prepares to return for season two, she explained that Joanne and Noah's relationship will move into more mature territory, facing questions about family and cohabitation. 'Joanne and Noah are now at a place in their relationship for season two where they're asking each other different questions,' Foster shared. 'Everyone's been in the first couple months of a relationship, and everyone's past the threshold where you ask if you and your partner are going to dinner with each other's families or if you are going to cohabitate with one another. There's all of these teeny, tiny things that link you closer to someone else.' Jackie Tohn, who plays Esther — married to Noah's older brother Sasha (Timothy Simons) — also teased that her character is realizing she wants to embrace joy like Joanne and Noah instead of creating 'self-imposed bad times.' The show, created by Foster, follows Joanne, an agnostic podcast host, and Noah, an unconventional rabbi, as they navigate love and faith. Their first kiss, which went viral, resonated with viewers for blending passion and comfort — a balance Bell and Foster both say is at the heart of the series. Nobody Wants This returns for season two on October 23, 2025.

ITV Coronation Street icon 'lined up' for I'm A Celebrity 2025 stint after quitting soap

A Coronation Street star could be going on a brand new adventure after leaving their beloved soap role behind A popular Coronation Street actor is rumoured to be joining the line-up for this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! ‌ Adam Hussain, who plays Aadi Alahan, has been a fixture on the cobbles since his debut in 2006, alongside his twin sister Asha (Tanisha Gorey). ‌ Originally portrayed by Zennon Ditchett, Adam took over the role in 2020 - and it's safe to say Aadi's been embroiled in some serious drama. Particularly recently, as he inadvertently spiked Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) at a party last month. ‌ In an attempt to resolve financial problems arising from managing his father Dev's (Jimmi Harkishin) business, Aadi staged a fake robbery. When Dev discovered the truth, he was furious and demanded that Aadi leave the cobbles to live in India. Recognising it's time for a fresh start, Aadi agrees and decides to depart the cobbles, reports the Daily Star. Fans have been bracing for Aadi's exit since April, when actor Adam Hussain announced his departure from the ITV soap. ‌ On Instagram, he posted: "Over the five years I've spent there, I have learned so much about the world and the industry and now feel I am ready to spread my wings a little." Now, Adam is being tipped for a spot on a major reality show. Bookmakers Betway are confident he will enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle later this year, with spokesperson Mike Reading stating: "Adam Hussain looks set for a brand new adventure beyond Coronation Street." ‌ He elaborated: "With the I'm A Celeb lineup still firmly under wraps, we have priced him up at 7/1 to swap the Rovers Return for bugs, rice, and beans." There's also a chance that Adam could make an appearance on a competing soap, with bookmakers offering odds of 12/1 and 6/1 for him to appear on Hollyoaks and EastEnders respectively.
