Anti-terror police probing Greek building explosion
Six cars were also damaged in the explosion in the suburb of Sikies and anti-terror police were probing the incident, public broadcaster ERT said.
The blast damaged the ground floor of the building leaving gaping holes in the wall. The head of a prison officers' union lives in the building, according to police.
A young man and woman who were passing at the time of the blast were injured by shards of glass, police sources told AFP.
In May, a woman involved in robberies died after an explosion in front of a bank in Thessaloniki.

Germany's ambassador to Israel, Steffen Seibert, also condemned it, writing on X: 'These extremist settlers may claim that God gave them the land. But they are nothing but criminals abhorrent to any faith.' Taybeh and its surroundings have experienced several bouts of settler violence in recent months, including an arson attack at an ancient Byzantine church. The village – home to about 1,300 mostly Christian Palestinians, many holding US dual citizenship – is known for its brewery, the oldest in the Palestinian territories. Settlers have attacked neighboring communities in recent months, resulting in three deaths, damage to Palestinian water wells and the displacement of at least one rural herding community. At least six killed in Thailand mass shooting; gunman kills himself
A gunman killed at least six people, including four security guards, and wounded one other person in a mass shooting at a popular fresh food market in Thailand's capital on Monday, police said. 'Police are investigating the motive. So far it's a mass shooting,' Worapat Sukthai, deputy police chief of Bangkok's Bang Sue district where the incident took place, told AFP. He said the suspect took his own life after the shooting and police were working to identify him, as well as investigating 'for any possible link' to the current border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia. The attack took place at Or Tor Kor Market, a short distance from Chatuchak market which is a major tourist destination in Bangkok and throngs with visitors every weekend. Mass shootings are not uncommon in Thailand, where firearms can be obtained relatively easily due to lax gun control enforcement.
