Love Island's Emily Moran shares the affordable SPF skin tint behind the girls' villa glam
If you've been wondering how the Love Island girls are managing to look so effortlessly glowy and flawless under the blazing Spanish sun, former Islander Emily Moran has just dropped the secret.
During a 'natural villa glam' make-up tutorial to her TikTok followers, Emily revealed that there's a certain complexion product all the girls have labelled as their number one in the villa.
The product they're on about is the NYX Professional Makeup Buttermelt Glaze Soft Glow Skin Tint. Claiming that Helena and Megan were the ones who suggested this to Emily, who opts for a slightly darker shade to get that bronzey glow and to colour match the rest of her body.
Not only does this skin tint deliver that natural-looking, dewy finish that we're all obsessed with at the moment, but it also has SPF 30, making it ideal for sunny weather and holidays.
Of course, we still strongly suggest wearing an SPF (ideally factor 50) underneath, as you're unlikely to get the amount of sun protection you need with the amount of product you'll be using. However, it's great to have that added layer of protection throughout the day.
If you're after more skin tints that will actually stay in place during the summer months, our beauty team has reviewed a lot over the years, and rounded up nine of the very best.
Mirror's beauty editor, Laura, is a big fan of Milk's Hydro Gel Grip Tint. She says, "This skin tint blends on so well, and makes skin look gorgeous from the first swipe: smooth, glowy, and perfected, but in a very natural way. What impressed me most, though, is just how well this finish lasted throughout the day.
Whereas, I'm a huge fan of the Kosas BB Burst Tinted Gel Cream. As soon as I tried this, I knew it was going to become my new staple. Featuring copper peptides and squalane, this hydrating formula provides a glowy, natural-looking base that feels just like skincare.

With the average wedding costing £200,500, the pair made a conscious effort to cut down on various aspects. Amie joked that some of the extreme measures "would put people in a coma". Veering from tradition The bride decided to opt out of the wedding dress tradition, instead choosing a comfy everyday outfit. "We didn't dress up. We wore flannels, jeans, and boots," she said, sharing a picture with her husband from the big day. Amie and her bridal party also did their own hair and make up for the occasion. And the TikToker joked that she also took her shoes off "as soon as I said 'I do'." While the couple still forked out for a venue for the day, Amie explained that they saved by holding the ceremony and reception in the same room. And the venue in question was the party room at their local library. For the food, the couple decided to skip out on the "fancy meal and fancy cake". Love Island couple ordered to leave the villa just hours before ITV final
One Love Island couple are being voted out of the villa by their former islanders. As we gear up for the semi-final of one of the most explosive Love Island seasons yet, two more islanders are set to be ruthlessly dumped from the villa, as they are voted out by their former friends and rivals, who aren't holding back. One couple won't make it to the final of the show, as the latest teaser reveals a tense moment where all the previously dumped Islanders return to the villa for one last, game changing decision. The official Love Island account took to Instagram to share the short clip from Sunday evening's episode, alongside the caption: "First look! Ex-Islanders return for a savage dumping, and they're not holding back." Host Maya Jama appears to have returned to the villa one last time before she gets ready for the final, and is seen entering the villa to announce the latest twist. After a dramatic slow-motion walk into the villa, Maya shouts: "Hello, hello, hello. Are you alright my loves? How was the dates? Are you all loved up? Well I have some very important news. Can you come and join me on the lawn?" The remaining couples in the villa are Yas and Jamie, Cach and Toni, Harry and Shakira, Ty and Angel, and Meg and Dejon, the Mirror reports. Maya delivers the news: "Well today, one more couple will be dumped from the Love Island villa and that decision will be made by some very familiar faces." Among the returning islanders is Sophie Lee, who joined at the start of the series and became the first to be dumped on day two. Viewers will also see the return of Tommy who was once considered a frontrunner to win, before being dumped by Shakira. The teaser sent fans into a frenzy as they speculated which couple the dumped islanders would be giving the boot. One viewer wrote: "Sorry, but after Thursday and Friday, it's gotta be Meg and Dejon. Their time is up", while another simply stated: "Harry & Shakira.. your time is up!" A third shared their thoughts and penned: "For all the years of watching Love Island, it's my first time feeling this nervous about the finals. I swear my anxiety level is through the roof." A forth fan stated: "Do the right thing and only let Yas, Jamie, or Cach near that money for goodness sake," while another expressed: "I swear if Shakira, Toni, or Yaz go home, I might have to have some therapy sessions" Only time will tell who the dumped Islanders will vote for and which couple will say their goodbyes just a day before the final. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, and the final will air tomorrow (August 4) at 9pm.
