EastEnders' Joel Marshall targets Alfie Moon in sick new plot

Daily Mirror27-05-2025

EastEnders have teased some dramatic scenes next week - and it's not looking good for Alfie Moon as he becomes the latest resident 'caught up' in Joel's sick acts
There's some big and dramatic moments happening on EastEnders next week, including a new 'victim' for villain Joel. It was previously revealed that Alfie Moon gets down on one knee, popping the question to Kat Slater. However, his happiness may not last long...
Joel Marshall has been causing drama since he entered Albert Square. It was recently revealed that his father Ross paid a family off in Australia, after his son posted an intimate photo of their daughter online.

However, the teen hasn't changed his ways as he was later seen secretly recording his intimate moments with Avani Nandra-Hart. Now, it looks like he's causing trouble once again.

Spoilers reveal that Kat's happiness doesn't last long when a worrying discovery on the family computer leaves her horrified, and she assumes Alfie is to blame. However, it's Joel who encourages Tommy Moon to use dad Alfie's credit card to watch adult videos online. Will the truth come out?
We previously saw Joel showing Tommy X-Rated videos during a house party, and now it looks like he's going one step further.
On Monday night's episode, Avani was distraught after being bombarded with a series of cruel messages online when news spreads of her sleeping with Joel. A concerned Barney Mitchell tried to reach out, however he was brutally shut down by the teen when he mentioned Joel.
However, in upcoming scenes, Avani will be given an unlikely pep talk by Nicola Mitchell as she and Barney continue to bond. Avani's dad Ravi, who once dangled Barney off a bridge has a change of heart, as he offers him some advice. As Barney and Avani make amends, , she leans in and gives him a kiss. How will their relation progress?

Back to the Slaters and it's an eventful week for Kat next week. As well as getting proposed to and discovering the worrying discovery on the family PC, the cab boss is steps in as Harvey tries to steal some of her drivers.
Harvey sets his sights on a new business venture as he attempts to buy a limo, only to fail to find the funds. He checks in with an old pal Cheeky, and soon he's trying to steal some of Kat's taxi drivers as investors only for her to ruin his plans.
Soon, Harvey asks Kat to be his business partner but she declines and sets about creating up a limo business of her own, which is when Alfie pops the big question.

But will Joel's 'sick' moves ruin the couple's plans?

EastEnders fans distracted by outrageous detail in background of Albert Square scene - but can you spot it?

EastEnders viewers were distracted by an outrageous detail in the background of an Albert Square scene. An old episode of the BBC soap featured a particularly notable headline on a newspaper stand. According to a fan on Reddit, the headline for the fictional Walford Gazette seemed to be about chicken yoga. The viewer penned: 'I love finding these 'made up headlines'.' 'I couldn't help but notice the headline on Walford Gazette probably says 'Chicken Yoga Takes City By Storm',' they added, followed by three chicken emojis. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The fan went on, 'Seriously, Chickens do Yogas?' and ended with a laughing emoji. It's not the first time eagle-eyed viewers found themselves distracted by background details in the show. During an episode in April, Jean (Gillian Wright) entered her home and pushed a pram through the doorway. She left a voicemail for her granddaughter Lily and was trying to find out where she was. Jean was looking after Lily's daughter and her great-granddaughter, Charli. Though the pram appeared to be empty when she entered the house, the camera then panned to show Charli sat inside it. Some viewers noticed the blunder and took to social media to point it out. One posted on X: 'EastEnders are really getting lazy when it comes to checking their scenes before adding them into the episode cause tell me why Jean's pushing an empty f****** pushchair then suddenly a child's in it #EastEnders.' Someone commented: 'Omg I did not notice this lol!' Another said: 'I was laughing so much when I seen this big L from the camera man.' While a fourth wrote: 'I noticed this too.' Someone else said: 'Oh dear lol.' While another added: 'I was watching an old episode of Brookside and the same thing happened there too.' Elsewhere, fans all made the same joke after a glaring Sonia Fowler blunder during a live episode in February. The nurse (Natalie Cassidy) welcomed her baby girl into the world after she was trapped in the Queen Vic during the fire. Viewers were worried that the youngster wouldn't survive after staying quiet after being born. Some viewers noticed the blunder and took to social media to point it out Sonia, Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) and Lauren Branning (Jaqueline Jossa) were over the moon when she finally started crying amongst the drama. By the instalment many fans pointed out the same thing about Sonia's daughter - that she had some how managed to dramatically grow in size throughout the live ep. One wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: 'Sonia's baby has tripled in size within 5 mins… #EastEnders.'

His outing comes after it was revealed that the model and Celebrity Race Across The World star had moved in with his nan Jackiey Budden in her Bermondsey home. Jackiey, who has lived in the London area close to Tower Bridge all her life, has been spending an increasing amount of time with her grandson amid his feud with TV star father Jeff. It is understood that he has been living at her South London home despite the legal row launched by his father Jeff, 46, to block Jackiey from seeing him. Freddy, 20, was just four-years-old and his EastEnders actor brother Bobby, was five when their mother Jade Goody died from cervical cancer in 2009. The Big Brother legend passed away at the age of 27 after a seven month battle with cancer and he has since been raised by his dad. Since then, Jackiey and Jeff have clashed several times before The Sun on Sunday revealed that the former Dancing on Ice contestant took legal action for his son's wellbeing. Despite trying to keep the duo apart, The Mail reports that Freddy spent the last week with his grandmother at her home in Bermondsey. Freddy Brazier defies dad Jeff to post new TikTok with nan Jackiey after legal action and 'weed smoking' row A source told the publication: "Jeff was never going to keep Freddy away from his Nanny for very long – they've always had a strong bond. "Jeff may hate her for all sorts of reasons going back many years, but Freddy loves her very much. "They had a great time together, playing with her dog and catching up at her flat – where he has often stayed over the years. "Whatever Jeff hoped to achieve with his legal efforts, it hasn't worked." This comes after we spotted Freddy smoking a joint with his former reality TV star grandmother near Tower Bridge in full view of tourists. Our exclusive photos and video show them smoking a suspicious-looking cigarette as Jackiey was seen to be 'acting erratically' with her grandson. An onlooker remarked: "The pair were puffing away in the open, in full view of tourists passing by and there was an aromatic smell in the air. The source added: "She appeared to be acting erratically." 5 It comes amid his ongoing feud with his father Jeff Credit: Homeserve
