EastEnders' Joel Marshall targets Alfie Moon in sick new plot

Daily Mirror27-05-2025
EastEnders have teased some dramatic scenes next week - and it's not looking good for Alfie Moon as he becomes the latest resident 'caught up' in Joel's sick acts
There's some big and dramatic moments happening on EastEnders next week, including a new 'victim' for villain Joel. It was previously revealed that Alfie Moon gets down on one knee, popping the question to Kat Slater. However, his happiness may not last long...
Joel Marshall has been causing drama since he entered Albert Square. It was recently revealed that his father Ross paid a family off in Australia, after his son posted an intimate photo of their daughter online.

However, the teen hasn't changed his ways as he was later seen secretly recording his intimate moments with Avani Nandra-Hart. Now, it looks like he's causing trouble once again.

Spoilers reveal that Kat's happiness doesn't last long when a worrying discovery on the family computer leaves her horrified, and she assumes Alfie is to blame. However, it's Joel who encourages Tommy Moon to use dad Alfie's credit card to watch adult videos online. Will the truth come out?
We previously saw Joel showing Tommy X-Rated videos during a house party, and now it looks like he's going one step further.
On Monday night's episode, Avani was distraught after being bombarded with a series of cruel messages online when news spreads of her sleeping with Joel. A concerned Barney Mitchell tried to reach out, however he was brutally shut down by the teen when he mentioned Joel.
However, in upcoming scenes, Avani will be given an unlikely pep talk by Nicola Mitchell as she and Barney continue to bond. Avani's dad Ravi, who once dangled Barney off a bridge has a change of heart, as he offers him some advice. As Barney and Avani make amends, , she leans in and gives him a kiss. How will their relation progress?

Back to the Slaters and it's an eventful week for Kat next week. As well as getting proposed to and discovering the worrying discovery on the family PC, the cab boss is steps in as Harvey tries to steal some of her drivers.
Harvey sets his sights on a new business venture as he attempts to buy a limo, only to fail to find the funds. He checks in with an old pal Cheeky, and soon he's trying to steal some of Kat's taxi drivers as investors only for her to ruin his plans.
Soon, Harvey asks Kat to be his business partner but she declines and sets about creating up a limo business of her own, which is when Alfie pops the big question.

But will Joel's 'sick' moves ruin the couple's plans?

EastEnders' Phil leaves Julie shaken in outburst as they clash over Nigel

Tensions between EastEnders' Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Julie Bates (Karen Henthorn) reach boiling point next week as Phil drops a bombshell about Nigel Bates' (Paul Bradley). Julie was recently reunited with her estranged husband Nigel, who had walked out on their life together in a bid to hide his dementia diagnosis from her. While she had planned to take him back home to Scotland to look after him, Nigel ultimately decided he wanted to stay in Walford with his old friend Phil, who he had been living with since returning to the BBC soap after 27 years at Christmas. Ultimately, Phil invited Julie to move in with him and Nigel at No.18, but things haven't exactly been smooth sailing between the pair. After a short trip back to Scotland, Nigel and Julie arrive back on the Square with their three pet chickens next week, and Phil is soon struggling with the new dynamic in his household. As Julie gets busy organising everything and making decisions, Phil gets annoyed that she's changing Nigel's routine. He's further agitated when the chickens keep everyone awake, making his relationship with Julie even more strained. When the pair both accompany Nigel to an assessment, he gets stressed by their constant sniping, which results in an almighty clash between Phil and Julie over their different approaches to Nigel's care. But Phil then has an outburst which leaves Julie shocked to the core, and she's left demanding answers about the revelation. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Cain is left reeling after unexpected new discovery in Emmerdale

Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) is a man who takes risks in Emmerdale, always in the hope they'll be worth it. But pretending he's the manager of Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) garage was a risk that was never, ever going to pay off. A few days ago, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) received confirmation that she was now officially divorced from Tom King (James Chase). Once Tom's relatives Nicola and Jimmy King (Nicola Wheeler and Nick Miles) discovered the development, they offered Belle some support, and Nicola wondered how long it would be until she started getting back into the dating scene. Belle set up a profile on an app and Nicola managed to grab her phone and swipe on a few accounts, one of them being Kammy's. Of course in the moment his phone pinged with the notification, Kammy didn't know that Nicola had swiped, which meant the next time he saw Belle, he was coy and giggly, wondering how long it would be until they went out on a date. Because of Belle's anxieties surrounding relationships, she quickly shut Kammy down and said she wasn't interested at all. In tonight's episode though, it was clear that wasn't entirely true. Belle arrived in the café and found Kammy. They joked about Kammy lying on his profile and pretending that he's the boss at Cain's garage. And then he arrived. Cain questioned Kammy about this and it left him fearful, but it was clear he wasn't being totally serious. As he approached the counter for a drink, Cain glanced back at Belle and Kammy. They were laughing together and Cain realised that his sister was very much enjoying Kammy's company. A while later, Cain found Kammy in the village. He apologised again about the profile lie, but then found himself feeling even more awkward when Cain wondered if there was something going on between him and Belle. Kammy reassured Cain and said they're just mates. Cain can clearly sense something is going on though as if not, he wouldn't have felt the need to remind Kammy that Belle has been through an awful lot, and doesn't need someone messing her around. More Trending In the pub, Belle discovered what Cain had said to Kammy, and reiterated that they were just friends. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? It certainly left Kammy feeling a little bit crushed, but he will find himself smiling in the coming days, as he spends more time with his new pal. Belle is encouraged by Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) and decides to relish in the good vibes Kammy brings. If this is Belle's new romance storyline, overcoming her worries in her first relationship post-Tom will be a lot for her. View More » But will Kammy end up being the right match after all?
