EastEnders confirms Kat and Alfie proposal - six months after reunion
follow. EastEnders has confirmed that there will be another proposal for Alfie Moon and Kat Slater in upcoming scenes. In scenes set to air in a few weeks, Alfie comes up with the idea of doing a wedding photoshoot to promote their new limo business. However, Kat is shocked when Alfie proposes to her, and says that they could be the bride and groom in the photo. The couple got back together about six months ago, as Alfie supported Kat when their son Tommy was being violent and the subsequent dealings with social services. Related: The Slaters have been through other heartbreaks recently, including Harvey Monroe cheating on Jean with Kathy Beale, and the aftermath of Martin Fowler's death, which led to Stacey and the kids departing the other day. Will this proposal lead to a well-deserved piece of happiness for the family? Related: Unfortunately, there's still set to be more trouble to come, as newcomer Joel Marshall recently showed Tommy a disturbing video. With Tommy relying on Joel as his first friend in a long time (he was so lonely recently he started talking to an AI chatbot), could he fall victim to his bad influence and repeat Joel's inexcusable behaviour? Meanwhile, next week will see a dramatic car accident play out, with multiple characters' lives at risk. EastEnders airs on Mondays-Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast. Lily Slater leaves EastEnders as soap airs surprise double exit
EastEnders were left in shock as Lily was seen exiting the Square during tonight's episode with baby Charli in hand - but is Lily Slater leaving the soap for good? It's been a tough few months for the Slaters in EastEnders following Martin Fowler's tragic death. In tonight's episode, things became too much for his daughter Lily - as she packed her bags and left Albert Square to stay with her biological dad Ryan. But has actress Lillia Turner left the soap for good? In previous episodes, teen Lily has been seen taking on the household responsibilities as Stacey has continued to struggle following the death of Martin. During tonight's episode, Stacey was seen running out the house after realising her phone with all her messages from Martin was in the pocket of her coat which had been taken to the launderette by Freddie. Alfie then learnt Arthur had Martin's phone all along, and had been listening to the messages from Stacey - leading him to believe his dad was coming home. The revelation erupted into a huge fight between Lily and Stacey, as Stacey ended up elbowing Lily - causing her to storm out the launderette. As Stacey returned home to apologise, Lily revealed she and Charli were going to stay with Ryan. The pair appeared to mend things before Lily's departure, although she told her mother she needed to "sort herself out" before she returned. The exit left fans shocked - as they wonder if Lily has left for good. An official exit has not been announced for the actress, so it's safe to say she'll be back. Plus, in her final scenes, Lily told Stacey she'd be back. Many fans assume Lillia Turner, 16, is taking time off from the soap to focus on her GCSEs, like many actors have done in the past. Taking to Reddit, one fan said: "I'm sure it's just for the Summer. I'm sure Lily will be back when Lillia is done with her GCSE exams - sometime in the middle of summer." Lily's shock departure comes shortly after Lacey Turner announced she'd be leaving the soap for an extended period. At the end of tonight's episode, Stacey was heard telling her children Arthur and Hope that they'd be going to stay with their auntie Lynne. Lynne Hobs is is the daughter of Charlie and Viv Slater - and the sister of Kat Slater. Lynne was on the soap for four years, from 2000-2004. After her marriage to Garry Hobbs came to an end, Lynne decided there was nothing left for her in Walford anymore, as she left to stay with her aunt Jean Harris.

EastEnders fans 'gobsmacked' as soap airs 'chaotic Christmas Day episode' in May
EastEnders fans were left gobsmacked at the end of today's episode as they claimed the 'duff duff' at the end of the episode was as dramatic as those on a Christmas Day episode It was a chaotic night in Albert Square tonight, as EastEnders fans were left gobsmacked as they witnessed two dramatic showdowns and a scene they thought would be left until Christmas Day. Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) were up first as the former found out his daughter, Avani had slept with Ross' son Joel. Ravi's revelation came as he overheard Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopa l) disclose the information to Avani's mum Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy). As soon as he heard the news, Ravi stormed out of the house running after Joel, who begged "Mr. Gulati" to leave him alone. Ross then pounced on Ravi as he warned him never to come near his son again. Ravi, however is yet to find out that Joel secretly recorded his intimate encounter with Avani. But when he does, fans think it's going to be "the end" for Joel. However, surprisingly that wasn't the most dramatic moment of the night. Cut to the Queen Vic and Kathy and Harvey's affair was exposed by Cindy. The cunning character played a video of the pair kissing for all to see on the screen in the Queen Vic, a scene that fans are comparing Max Branning and Stacey Slater's affair being exposed on Christmas Day 2007. Learning that Cindy had the video during Tuesday's episode, Kathy gave in and agreed to sign over the Albert to Cindy, who promised she'd delete the video. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: "OMG TONIGHT'S DUFF DUFF! It's like Christmas Day all over again," as another said: "Cindy did not play around I'm glad it got exposed finally instead of waiting till Christmas #EastEnders". Another agreed: "looool ok Cindy didn't f**k about there thank GOD i thought that video was gonna be floating around until Christmas #EastEnders." Others couldn't believe how "chaotic" the episode was as they took to Reddit to discuss. "The chaos! The chaos!", exclaimed one. "As if Ross could take Ravi though," while another penned: "That episode was just chaos, what is going on?" The dramatic scenes in the Vic come after Jean proposed to Harvey. The two were in the Vic celebrating their very short lived engagement before Cindy came to drop the bomb. Following the revelations, fans have been left concerned for Jean as they worry how it's going to affect her mental health. Following yesterday's episode, one fan wrote: "Now we know Harvey's secret is at risk of coming to light thanks to Cindy - I just hope this doesn't lead towards Jean having another manic episode especially when tensions are so fragile between the Slaters right now." Fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see how the drama unfolds... EastEnders airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
