For Pink Floyd, 2025 has been about At Pompeii - MCMLXXII. The beloved band's concert film was re-released to theaters earlier this year, and a live album was also spun off from that theatrical release. That project debuted at No. 1 on several charts in the United Kingdom and has been performing well in the nearly two months since it dropped.
As that live collection continues to dip, the group's most famous work manages to climb. More than half a century after its release, The Dark Side of the Moon can be found on four charts in the U.K. this week. It rises on two tallies, returns to a third, and holds steady in an impressive position on the last.
The Dark Side of the Moon Returns and Flies
The Dark Side of the Moon reenters the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 83. At the same time, the project jumps more than 10 spaces to No. 72 on the Official Albums Sales ranking and moves nearly 10 spots higher on the Official Physical Albums list, where it settles at No. 75. The same frame sees The Dark Side of the Moon sitting at a lucky No. 13 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart.
At Pompeii Vs. The Dark Side of the Moon
At Pompeii bests The Dark Side of the Moon in terms of placement, as it ranks higher than Pink Floyd's classic on each of the three tallies on which it appears. The live set, however, can only be found on a trio of rankings — and it's declining on all of them seven weeks into its lifespan.
Four Pink Floyd Albums Chart This Week in the U.K.
Pink Floyd fills four spaces on the Official Rock & Metal Albums chart this week. In addition to both At Pompeii and The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and Wish You Were Here decline by more than 10 spaces each. The two titles appear right next to one another on the ranking of the bestselling full-lengths and EPs in those styles throughout the country, dropping to Nos. 35 and 36, respectively.

Princess Diana Reportedly Gave Teen Son Prince William an ‘Embarrassing' Birthday Cake That Proves She Was the Coolest Mom

Teen boys aren't hard to understand. They have silly (and gross) senses of humor leftover from their childhood days and an obsession with girls that's a precursor to their upcoming adulthood. Immature, yes, but also, easy to embarrass — and Princess Diana apparently knew the best way to tease her son Prince William when he was in this stage of life. The late Princess of Wales reportedly gave her eldest child an 'embarrassing' birthday cake that was definitely not up to the usual royal standard. Darren McGrady, a former chef to the British royal family for 15 years, revealed how cool Princess Diana was as a mom. 'When I moved to Princess Diana['s home], it was much more relaxed,' he told Heart Bingo, per Marie Claire. Case in point: a boob-shaped birthday cake she gave her son! More from SheKnows Prince William Has a 'Wonderful' Relationship With a Close Confidant That's Not Kate Middleton, Says Source 'I remember one of Prince William's birthday cakes,' McGrady told the outlet. 'I came into work and opened my refrigerator and there was a large box in there. I opened it, wondering who was using my refrigerator, and there was a large pair of women's boobs.' She got her teenager a boob cake?! It's so unexpected, and yet, so on brand for Diana. McGrady continued, 'It was the cake Diana had bought for William. She'd thought he'd find this funny. She loved embarrassing William, and it was a fantastic gift for him. He loved it, it went down really well.' We bet it did! She wins the award for the coolest mom ever. But it wasn't just about getting a funny cake. Princess Diana also did her best to make sure the boys' birthdays were normal. 'For the princess and the boys, birthdays were about spending time together,' McGrady explained. 'She made sure that while they had the royal side with all the pomp and pageantry with Charles, they also got the 'normal' life with her. That meant a Saturday night treat was sitting in front of the television eating hamburgers and chips. That was a special treat for them.' This is similar to how Prince William's wife Kate Middleton treats their kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, on their birthdays. In a previous interview, Middleton shared on the BBC program, A Berry Royal Christmas with Mary Berry, 'I love making the cake. It's become a bit of a tradition that I stay up 'til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing and I make far too much. But I love it.' They also prioritize low-key, family time. An insider previously told Us Weekly, 'Kate and William have one important rule whenever it's George, Charlotte and Louis' birthday – they clear their schedules and avoid any work calls, unless there's an emergency, to enable them to give their children their undivided attention.' Now, we'll just have to see if the current Princess of Wales makes Prince George a boob-shaped cake when he gets a little older!Best of SheKnows Birthday Freebies for Kids: 25+ Places That'll Make Their Big Day Extra Sweet These Raw & Beautiful Breastfeeding Photos Show There's No 'Right' Way to Nurse 'But I Hate School': What To Do When Your Teen Dreads Going Back Solve the daily Crossword

The Art Of Summer Suiting With Infamous London Tailors Edward Sexton

(Photo by) Getty Images Now, in time for dashing summer escapades, Dominic Sebag-Montefiore, Creative Director of Edward Sexton has shared his guide to summer tailoring. Start with the right cloth and you will look and feel great. If you are going to be wearing tailoring in the warmer weather fabric selection is key. Linen is dry and porous, so it keeps you feeling fresh, but has a tendency to crease, so best kept for more relaxed occasions, evenings out, holidays and events, but not so much in an air-conditioned boardroom. Linen will keep you cool, but it has no natural stretch, so if you go too fitted it can feel restrictive and uncomfortable. High twisted open weave wools are excellent; they are woven using twisted yarns of wool that are constantly trying to untwist, so they do not crease easily. This means you can create a lighter cloth that resists creasing. Having an open weave allows air to pass through. We work with some fantastic mills that have perfected this technique. But these clothes are great for the warm weather and travelling. Some of the high twist fabrics can be flowing and drapey and others can be firmer and hold their shape. A good tailor should be able to tell you which are which and what would work best for your figure and the style of garment you want. Edward Sexton campaign shot by Jonathan Daniel Price Edward Sexton In summer, you don't need to commit to a full three-piece suit or shorts and a linen shirt. There is a lot of room to play. Loose-fitting tailored trousers in a flowing fabric can be great dressed down. A light, unstructured suit worn with a t-shirt or linen shirt can be easy and elegant. A structured jacket can add a touch of formality to a pair of trousers and an open shirt, and makes a great layer if the temperature drops as the sun goes down. Feel Good, Look Good How you feel in your clothes has as much of an impact as the quality and fit on how you look and how well you function in them. This may be about how soft or rough the fabric is, it could also be a psychological association with the brand, it could be how well suited to the weather you are going to be in the clothes. It could be how the cut of the clothes make you stand. The right clothes will feel right. Don't think it see how clothes feel on. Edward Sexton campaign shot by Jonathan Daniel Price Edward Sexton Classics Are Classics For A Reason A good classic is, classic. This is not to be ignored or dismissed, but get it right and you will have an awesome piece for years, until you get bored of it, then put it away and wait 10 years (don't put on or lose weight) and you will fall in love with it again. Quality, construction and colour are imperative. Key classics for summer: white linen suit or just the trousers if the suit is too much; a navy high twist blazer can be worn with the white linen trousers for a riviera look. A navy mohair blend suit for when you want to look impeccable but not too heavy, dark chocolate brown linen suit, a real suit wearer's summer suit in Irish linen, of course. Get them right and you will feel and look a million dollars in them even when they are old and worn in. They will get character like a pair of indigo denim jeans. Meet Your Needs - Go Bespoke Whether you know them or not, get all of your needs from your clothing met. A good bespoke tailor will sit down with you and want to understand how you want to feel in your clothes, what context and climate you are going to wear them in and build garments that flawlessly flatter your physique and meet your needs, or tell you when they can't all be met. Get the expert consultation and then something handmade for you and your lifestyle. Edward Sexton campaign shot by Jonathan Daniel Price Edward Sexton See more on
