Charlie Sheen is addressing his scandalous past in a new Netflix documentary, which features appearances from some very surprising people in his life. Netflix released a first look of the doc on Wednesday, August 13, in which Sheen, 59, spoke to filmmaker Andrew Renzi about his rise to stardom — and hitting rock bottom amid addiction struggles. In the sneak peek, Sheen's exes Denise Richards and Brooke Mueller were interviewed, as was Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre and costar Jon Cryer. Sheen's brother, Ramon Estevez, was the only family member — outside of the actor's youngest daughter with Richards, Lola — to participate. Sean Penn, Heidi Fleiss and Chris Tucker were also featured in the documentary trailer before Sheen's former drug dealer, Marco, spoke about the actor "smoking seven gram rocks." The film, titled aka Charlie Sheen, will be released on September 10. It is a two-part special that highlights Sheen's childhood in Malibu, his success in the '80s and '90s, and his personal life making headlines due to drug use over the years. Kelce made a cameo in the movie, and Swift was very supportive of her boyfriend's latest venture into the world of Hollywood films. In one of its posts promoting the movie, Netflix shared a behind-the-scenes video featuring Kelce and his hilarious scene in the film where he was mauled by a bear. In the comments section of the Instagram post, a user suggested that 'they should've dressed Taylor as a bear for an epic surprise.' Netflix replied to the comment with the eyes emoji, which immediately drew attention to the comment referencing Swift. It was pointed out by Entertainment Tonight, however, that, according to the film's credits, it was a stuntman named Brandon Alan Smith who was the 'Bear Performer' in the movie, thereby disproving the supposed Swift theory. Swifties Are Not Happy Several news and entertainment outlets published stories around the premise that Swift fans were led to believe that the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, indeed, made a secret cameo in 'Happy Gilmore 2.' The Swifties have now clapped back, claiming that none of them believed that there was any basis to the supposed rumor that Swift joined Kelce in the film. "Oh stop, no one said that," a comment on X read, responding to a New York Post article entitled, "Why Taylor Swift fans think she secretly appeared in 'Happy Gilmore 2' with Travis Kelce." "Taylor Swift fans think? No chance," said another. "I haven't seen a single fan say they think Taylor was in HG2. Like surely there is actual important (and legit) (expletive) going on that y'all could write about," wrote a user. "Are the fans in the room with us," asked a reader. "Nobody thinks that or thought that LOL," declared another. "NY Post making up headlines again," accused a Swiftie. All sorts of rumors have come out involving Swift and Kelce over the past couple of years, and, to be fair, some Swifties have bought into a number of them. It follows six roommates who find themselves living together in part because of limited other options, each of whom ultimately comes to realize that they need to take more responsibility for their futures now that they are no longer in school. Legends of Tomorrow (2016-2022) During the height of the Snyderverse, Legends of Tomorrow was a reminder that there were many different ways to tell DC stories. Although this show starts out fairly self-serious, it quickly morphs into something much lighter on its feet. Because they travel through space and time, this band of heroes and villains are often finding themselves in fairly ludicrous situations, and that's part of the fun. American Vandal (2017-2018) One of the silliest shows in the history of Netflix, American Vandal is a brilliant dissection of true crime documentaries that still holds up almost a decade later. The show is a mockumentary set first in a high school and follows students who become obsessed with investigating who defaced a teacher's car with a drawing of genitalia. The hilarious American Vandal transforms into a surprisingly profound examination into the way certain students can be dismissed by everyone.
