No smartphone, no problem: Fahadh Faasil on life without social media - 'It feels natural, not isolated'

doesn't use smart phones, hence he is not active on social media. Now in Mollywood, the versatile actor
Fahadh Faasil
seems to be following the same.
The acclaimed actor recently spoke to The Hollywood Reporter and revealed that he still doesn't own a
smartphone
. It's not because he dismisses the value of technology, he's clear that smartphones are useful, but rather that he's created a life where they're simply not essential.
'There are always other ways to connect if someone needs to,' Fahadh said. The 'Maareesan' actor explained that the people who need to reach him can connect with him even without digital shortcuts.
Tried, tested, and rejected
Fahadh did try using social media at one point. But it didn't take long for him to realise it wasn't his space. He found himself unsure of what to post and how to respond to the influx of comments that followed. 'Those accounts were just to tell people about the films I was doing,' he admitted. Anything beyond that felt forced and unnatural to him.

Rather than pretend to enjoy the platform, he quietly stepped away and has had no regrets.

The supporting cast includes Sapthami Gowda, Varsha Bollamma, Saurabh Sachdeva, Swasika, and Hari Teja, among others. B. Ajaneesh Loknath's music received decent responses from the viewers. ETimes gave the movie a rating of only 2 stars out of 5 and an excerpt from our official review read, "On the technical front, the film is visually appealing, with cinematographer KV Guhan capturing the tribal locales with flair. Ajaneesh Loknath's background score is atmospheric but rarely elevates the emotional beats. The action choreography is stylised, though several sequences stretch believability, further distancing the viewer from the story's emotional core. Thammudu had all the ingredients for a stirring emotional-action drama, but in trying too hard to be everything, it ends up being less than the sum of its parts. A film that had the potential to hit the bullseye sadly misses the mark."
