‘Waiting for results': Jessie J shares intimate pictures of heartbreaking cancer battle
Jessie J has shared some intimate snaps from her hospital bed as she reveals the 'highs and lows' of undergoing cancer treatment.
Earlier this month, Jessie revealed that she was diagnosed with 'early' breast cancer shortly before the release of her recent single No Secrets, which came out in April.
Since sharing her diagnosis, the British star has been open with fans about her journey to recovery.
In her latest Instagram post, Jessie shared numerous pictures of herself in hospital revealing that she felt 'grateful' for all the help she had been receiving from specialists.
'Blood warning!! This post is some of the honest lows and highs of the last 48 hours. I will always show the good and hard bits of any journey I go through. Grateful to my doctor / surgeon and all the nurses who cared for me and all my family / friends who came to visit,' wrote the star.
'I am home now, to rest and wait for my results. Chanan is in a nurse outfit. No no, he isn't, but funny to imagine. Still hugging everyone going through something tough right now. We all got this!'
In a short clip shared from her hospital bed, Jessie revealed that she had been there for over six hours.
Her latest remarks come after Jessie became visibly emotional when she told fans during her last performance that she intends to 'beat' cancer.
'Today, this show is my last show before I go to beat breast cancer!' she told the sell-out crowd of 75,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.
'So it's so special to me you have no idea. I feel so special to be from the UK, to be an honest person and say how you feel.'
'This is my last show before go treatment and all the things It's the most special thing and I'm so grateful for this life, for you guys, for my career, to my, my son. My partner, my parents'.
She added: 'My family, my band, my crew. We are so lucky, we have so much to live for, so much joy, so much, so many things to do'.
The singer has been open about her health issues in the past, including a 2020 diagnosis of Ménière's disease, an inner-ear condition that can lead to severe dizziness and hearing loss. The following year, she revealed to her fans that she'd suffered a miscarriage, and last year she publicly shared that she'd been diagnosed with both obsessive – compulsive disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The first images of tragic One Direction star Liam Payne's final TV project as a talent show judge have been released. He is seen giving tips to young singing hopefuls in preview footage for Netflix's Building The Band. The program was filmed just two months before his death at the age of 31 last October. Payne's family have given permission for the streaming giant to go ahead with the series – which will be available to watch from July 9 – and were given final sign-off on how he appeared in the show. The singer is one of three judges and mentors on the program, and in the trailer appears to be going through a range of emotions as he coaches a wannabe band. In one clip he tells them: 'You've got a lot of work to do vocally — I need to feel that connection between you guys.' In another scene he is seen seemingly referring to his own One Direction past when he comments on the process they go through on Building The Band. He is heard saying: 'How these bands are put together is not normal — we were not put together that way.' Payne is also seen smiling and clapping on stage during the advert — which runs for more than two minutes — and appears to wave and cup an ear in the direction of the audience. The show also features singers Kelly Rowland and Nicole Scherzinger as judges and Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean as the host. It brings together 50 musicians who have to form six bands, without ever seeing each other in person. They perform in individual booths and have to pick one another based on singing ability and compatibility alone. They have to form groups, who then compete against each other with the three judges watching. It is an echo of when One Direction were formed on The X Factor in 2010, before going on to become one of the world's biggest boy bands. However, at least they got to see and meet one another in person before the group was formed. Payne filmed his scenes in the show in August just two months before he fell to his death from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In January this year there had been a flashpoint when Netflix in the US had announced it would be scheduling the show on its platform, even though Payne's family thought they were still to sign off on it. However, his relatives are now believed to have given it their blessing, as it celebrates Payne as a musician and singer.

Princess Beatrice's eight-year-old stepson, Wolfie, is already impressing those around him with his growing talents, most recently mastering the Chinese language to connect to his cultural roots. His mother, architect and designer Dara Huang, revealed the news during an interview with London-based content creator World Microphone, saying Wolfie, whose full name is Christopher Woolf, has progressed so quickly that his fluency now surpasses her own. "I have a son, he's eight years old," Huang said. "Every year I throw him a big Chinese New Year's party. All his friends come over and they wear traditional Chinese outfits. "His favourite things are bubble tea, noodles, and dumplings." Huang added: "I hired a nanny to teach him Chinese. His Chinese is better than mine." The 41-year-old, who was born and raised in Florida by Taiwanese parents, explained that preserving culture and identity is incredibly important in their family, particularly as Wolfie grows up with mixed heritage. "When I was little my Dad always told me, 'You are in America, but you have an Asian face. You need to be more hardworking than everybody else'," she said. "I think growing up Chinese in America is very hard. You have to pass down your identity and culture to your kids. "He (Wolfie) has an Asian face, so he should speak and he should understand Chinese." Huang's father, Po-Tien Huang, worked as a rocket scientist for NASA for more than four decades after relocating to the US. Meanwhile, Dara went on to study at the University of Florida and Harvard before launching a successful architectural career that now includes celebrity clients such as Margot Robbie. She met Wolfie's father, luxury property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, after moving to London in her mid-20s. The couple dated for three years before welcoming their son in 2016 and becoming engaged. After parting ways in 2018, Mapelli Mozzi, who is descended from Italian nobility, met and later married Princess Beatrice, with whom he now shares two daughters: Sienna, three, and five-month-old Athena. It's understood that Dara, Edoardo, and Princess Beatrice maintain a cooperative co-parenting relationship, with Wolfie making regular appearances at royal family events. Looking ahead, Huang said she plans to take her son to China this year to experience the culture firsthand, with visits scheduled for Shanghai, Beijing, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. "I want him to appreciate and absorb the culture," she said. "You know, just to experience it all." In addition to his bilingual talents, Huang also shared that Wolfie has a flair for painting, and that one of his artworks even sold for £40,000 (roughly AUD$80,000).
