'I haven't received any call, maybe my agents have,' said Cambiaso.
'The only certain thing in life is death, but I'm happy here. I haven't spoken to Tudor, but I know the club and the coach hold me in high regard. I feel everyone's trust. I'm happy in Turin and I've never asked to leave.'
Cambiaso was reported to be a big Manchester City transfer target in January, but insisted he had never spoken to Pep Guardiola either.

Juventus coach Igor Tudor has extended his contract to 2027, and Cambiaso revealed that the team is glad the Croat will remain in charge for the long term.
'Absolutely. When the coach arrived, the goal was to qualify for the Champions League, so he fully deserved to be confirmed. He made a great impression on us,' the defender said.
'He helped us through a tricky moment when there was no time for experiments. We just had to achieve our objective, so he focused a lot on the mental aspect and did an excellent job. Now things will be different. We'll have a preseason with him and will be able to work more on tactics. We've already had a taste of it. We're all very happy to continue with him.'
Tudor replaced Thiago Motta in March. What was the issue with the previous Juventus coach?

'I don't know. Last August, I would have never guessed it would end like this,' admitted Cambiaso.
'I'm sorry because I know him well. I had him at Bologna, and I think he's a great coach. Something didn't click, and the results showed that.'

'There are many high-level players, but the future belongs to Yildiz. He has the qualities to become a world-class talent.'

'It will be a surprise, but just being here for the first time is great. We're all definitely tired, but playing is our job, and it's a beautiful thing.'
Lastly, the Juventus defender spoke about Gennaro Gattuso's appointment as Italy's head coach.
'I'm really pleased. Let's hope we can return to the USA with the Italian national team next summer.'

Loïc Badé targeted by Bayer Leverkusen

Loïc Badé targeted by Bayer Leverkusen Bayer Leverkusen have set their sights on 25-year-old Franco-Ivorian defender Loïc Badé. According to journalist Loïc Tanzi, the German club has opened talks with Sevilla FC to assess the situation of Loïc Badé. Still under contract with the Andalusian side until 2029, Badé is valued at €25 million on Transfermarkt. He's coming off a solid season, making 33 appearances, scoring 1 goal, providing 1 assist, collecting 8 yellow cards and 1 red, with a total of 2,777 minutes played. According to L'Équipe, the player is tempted by the prospect of playing in the Champions League—a major advantage for Leverkusen, who qualified thanks to their second-place finish in the Bundesliga. This is definitely a story to keep an eye on.

Five Premier League players impressing in pre-season

Pre-season provides a chance to get up to speed and several Premier League players have hit the ground running during the summer schedule. Here are five names who have been in fine form this pre-season. Donyell Malen (Aston Villa) Donyell Malen appears to have the bit between his teeth this summer. The Dutchman joined Aston Villa from Borussia Dortmund in January, but opportunistic loan deals for Marcus Rashford and Marcos Asensio in the same window limited his football. Malen was excluded from the Champions League squad in a surprise snub and looks to have a point to prove in pre-season. Malen has a goal and three assists across Villa's summer games, as he looks to nail down a position in Unai Emery's forward line. In this form, he'll be tough to leave out when the season starts next weekend. Yasin Ayari (Brighton) Yasin Ayari is growing in importance at Brighton and 2025/26 promises to be another positive season of progression for the 21-year-old. After 22 league starts last season, Ayari looks set for a big role under Fabian Hurzeler this time around. The Swede has shone during an encouraging pre-season campaign for the Seagulls, scoring twice and providing two assists. He's one to watch heading into the new campaign. Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) As teams near the top of the table battle it out to sign strikers, it's perhaps surprising that there has not been more concrete interest in Jean-Philippe Mateta. The Frenchman has netted 30 goals over the last two Premier League campaigns and has already his his stride in pre-season. Mateta has four goals and an assist for the Eagles this summer, with no corner flag safe… Harry Wilson (Fulham) Harry Wilson cut a frustrated figure at Fulham last term but the Wales winger is doing his most to get back into favour. Wilson started just 12 times in the Premier League in 2024/25, though developed a reputation as a 'Super Sub' for Marco Silva. He scored five times of the bench, behind only teammate Rodrigo Muniz across the entire Premier League, but will want to regain a regular starting role. A return of five goals in pre-season has done his chances no harm. Darwin Nunez (Liverpool) Despite the distraction around his future and new signing Hugo Ekitike adding competition, Darwin Nunez has got to work this summer. The Uruguayan has hit five goals for Liverpool over the pre-season campaign, including a first-half hat-trick against Stoke City. It looks likely to be the end of Nunez's chapter at Liverpool this summer, but he's certainly a player that could thrive in the right environment. Serie B deal for Milan teenager Liberali on brink of collapse as Torino step forwards

Tuesday's reports claim that a deal between Milan and Serie B side US Catanzaro for teenage talent Mattia Liberali is on the brink of collapse, while Torino have stepped forwards with interest in the 18-year-old. Reports Liberali deal between Milan and Catanzaro on standby Reports from various outlets over the weekend claimed that there is an agreement in place between Milan and Catanzaro over a permanent deal for Liberali. The Rossoneri were expected to accept a nominal fee for the teenager, who is into the final year of his contract, in exchange for a 50% sell-on clause. Tuesday's report claims that negotiations between Milan and Catanzaro are currently on standby. Torino director Davide Vagnati reportedly begun discussions with Milan on Monday and is hoping to reach a swift agreement for the Italy youth international. The two parties are currently in negotiations over a potential fee. Aside from Torino and Catanzaro, there had also been interest from the likes of Atalanta, Parma, Lecce and Empoli earlier this summer.
