April dragged into a shocking crime in Emmerdale as she faces grave danger
Dylan isn't inherently bad, he's just down on his luck, but has been dragged into working with drug dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), and though while he's trying to extricate himself from his associations with the bad man, Ray has other ideas.
Dylan thinks he's getting out, Ray is secretly pulling him back in. And he's got his eye on April too.
As April's 16th approaches, it's a big deal but Marlon (Mark Charnock) feels displaced. Dylan is now the flavour of the month for April; she's outgrown her dad.
But that's largely because her birthday wish centres around one thing – sleeping with Dylan. She gets her wish, during which Dylan misses a call from Ray.
Mandy (Lisa Riley) catches them post-coital and informs on them to Marlon, going directly against the no snitching code of the Dingles – and Marlon is gutted. Rhona (Zoe Henry) helps him see that April needs to be able to make her own choices. It's cringes all round though when April learns that her dad knows she had sex.
That will all turn out to be small fry problems when Ray demands that Dylan does another job for him. April finds out about it and realises Dylan has continued to lie. She also realises he is caught up in something very dark. More Trending
She gives him permission to go ahead but is hit with a shocker when Dylan reveals it's her Ray wants to complete the job, not him.

This was not on her 16th birthday bingo card and April is left terrified but torn as to how to help Dylan. Ray manipulates her into doing the drug drop, and just like that, April is now involved in a dangerous drugs ring.
Marlon is oblivious and gives April and Dylan's relationship his blessing. She hugs her dad but is filled with dread as she eyes the backpack full of drugs just over his shoulder.

Cate Blanchett reveals how Squid Game cameo was kept secret and teases spin-off
Cate Blanchett has addressed how her hugely-secretive Squid Game guest appearance in the show's final episode came about and where it could go next. The South Korean Netflix phenomenon bowed out this summer after becoming the biggest show ever to hit the platform, detailing a dystopian death match that's now entered the popular vernacular, with a pink and green wardrobe that's Halloween-ready. Among the many surprises during the final season, at the top of the list was Blanchett, 56, appearing in the final scene as a Squid Game recruiter based in Los Angeles. In the scene, the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) is driving through the city when he looks down an alley and spots Blanchett's character, suited and booted, playing a game of ddakji with a homeless man. The set-up is identical to how Gong Yoo's salesman first recruited Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) on a subway platform at night, playing the same slap-centric version of the game. Blanchett has now said the offer to appear on the show 'came out of the blue' before she agrred to film the top-secret final scene. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video She told Variety: 'Because it's such a cult series and they were shooting in LA of all places, everyone was on a need-to-know basis.' The 56-year-old told the publication that she didn't even do a wardrobe fitting for the unnamed role, instead bringing her own suit to filming and learning 'very quickly' to play ddakji. 'I had to practice and practice,' she said. 'I knew there were four or five setups that they were going to do, and I knew what they needed from every shot, and then I was given the [script pages]. But it was one of the more mysterious jobs.' TV Editor Sabrina Barr shares her take… The final season, which Metro was able to watch in its entirety before the release, is darn near-perfect. Almost. While creator Hwang Dong-hyuk didn't initially have the three seasons mapped out, he concludes the tale of Player 456, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) in a seamless way that feels as though it was always meant to be a three-part story. As for why season three isn't a clear 10/10, the main qualm I have pertains to a group of characters who are so distracting they bring me back to real life with a sharp jolt – the VIPs. Their presence is jarring and feels unnecessary, even if the intention is to demonstrate who the game is being held for. But, the final moments of season three genuinely made me jaw drop in the best way possible. The chief takeaway from Blanchett's cameo, as well as the scene's reveal that an international version of the Game exists, was that Netflix appeared to be setting up a show spin-off. It's not a suggestion Blanchett denied in the interview. More Trending So could she be the star of a new English-language version of the show? Blanchett says she is 'wildly open to anything'. 'In a world that is so beautifully, magically created like that, for sure,' she said. 'They're amazing world-builders, and that series has been eaten alive. I don't think there's a corner of the globe that it hasn't touched in some way.' View More » Squid Game is available to stream on Netflix. Got a story? Gary was left comforting Theo in the latest episode of the ITV soap after her trashed the builder's yard and broke down over Noah's latest actions. Fans know about Theo and Noah's past and why Theo has struggled with him being round. It comes amid spoilers revealing Noah would use a photo of Theo's family on a flyer for is church, promoting 'traditional family values', just months on from Theo splitting with his wife Danielle and embarking on a romance with Todd Grimshaw. But will he regret taunting Theo? READ MORE: EastEnders fans gutted as character's return scrapped days after announcement With Noah still practising conversion therapy, years on from him being involved when Theo was put through this, recent scenes have seen both Theo and Todd lashing out. Now it's Gary's turn it seems, with spoilers hinting he prepares to confront Noah while wielding a hammer. Ahead of the scenes airing, fans saw Gary bond with Theo over his ordeal in the latest episode. Gary sympathised with Theo, and with him offering to take matters into his own hands it seems he could well do that. But with Theo telling him to let things lie, not wanting any trouble, fans now think Gary will end up killing Noah. It wouldn't be the first death he has caused, after he orchestrated the factory roof collapse that left Rana Habeeb dead. He also killed loan shark Rick Neelan who was about to murder him, and his threats to Derek when he demanded he pay him his debts led to a Christmas siege that resulted in the deaths of Derek as well as Robert Preston. Gary has remained on a less villainous path in the past year or so, but since his brutal attack at the hands of Lou Michaelis he seems to have gone a little dark all over again. Now fans think he will strike again, this time killing Noah after deciding to confront him for Theo. Taking to social media one fan said: "When Gary kills Noah and they blame it on Billy." Another fan said: "Gary & Theo off to dig a hole in the woods. Don't forget to take off Noah's watch." A third fan added: "Gary is turning vigilante? Wonderful." Meanwhile a further post reflected on Gary's killer ways from his past. it read: "Yeah, don't worry, Gary has removed a number of people from his life, permanently, and the scriptwriters expect us to have forgotten how many murders he's got away with!"
