WWE world champion pulled from Raw 'on medical grounds' just hours before show
The current Women's World Champion, who won the title by cashing in her Money In The Bank contract at the Evolution premium live event last month, was due to wrestle on tonight's episode of Monday Night Raw.
Naomi had been scheduled to face former champ Iyo Sky during the weekly Netflix live stream, which gets underway in less than three hours.
In an announcement on social media, WWE said: 'BREAKING NEWS: Naomi is not medically cleared to compete and therefore her scheduled match against Iyo Sky will not take place tonight on Monday Night Raw.'
The company urged fans to 'tune into tonight for continuing coverage on this developing story'.

It's not yet clear if Naomi is injured or ill, with some fans unsure what to believe after Seth Rollins' fake injury last month – but there is no indication yet that it's part of a storyline.
Naomi has previously opened up about how she thrives in physical matches like the Elimination Chamber, despite the genuine risk in such intense matches. More Trending
'You're definitely beat up and sore after for days, sometimes weeks,' she exclusively told Metro.
'It's so exciting. And that's what I love most about [the Chamber], the challenge of like, what am I going to do this time? What is she going to do? What do I got to look out for?'

There will still be gold on the line in the women's division tonight on Raw, as Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch puts her title on the line against underdog Maxxine Dupri.

Martin Scorsese ‘threatened to get gun' after request to cut iconic film
Director Martin Scorsese said he was 'threatening' to get a gun and during the making of his 1976 hit Taxi Driver after being asked to cut violence from the film. In the first look at Apple TV+'s upcoming documentary series about the director, titled Mr Scorsese, fellow filmmaker Steven Spielberg said Scorsese called him at his office while he was 'very upset' after being asked to reduce violence in a scene from the psychological thriller. Spielberg recalled their conversation, remembering Scorsese said on the phone: ''Steve, Steve, it's Marty, Steve. Can you come over to the house? ''They want me to cut all the blood spurting, they want me to cut all the blood spurting, they want me to cut the guy who loses his hand.'' In the teaser, Scorsese is asked whether he had a gun at this time, which he denied, but admitted he was threatening to get one. 'I was going to get one,' Scorsese said. 'But I wasn't going to get it, really?' The Oscar winner added: 'I was angry and said I'm going to threaten them or maybe just shoot or something, I had no idea, I mean I was threatening. 'What I wanted to do, and not with a gun, I would go in, find out where the rough cut is and break the windows and take it away. 'They're going to destroy the film anyway, you know, so let me destroy it. 'I'll destroy it, but before destroying it, I'm going to steal it. 'Spielberg and a number of others said, 'Marty, stop that, Marty, you can't do that.'' Scorsese said of the sequence in question that he 'toned the colour down' and made the film grainy, which Spielberg said meant none of the violence had to be cut from the film and 'saved the movie'. Taxi Driver features Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle, a former US Marine who becomes a taxi driver, which earned him his first Oscar nomination and saw co-star Jodie Foster nominated in the best supporting actress category. More Trending The five-part documentary series, directed by award-winning filmmaker Rebecca Miller, features Scorsese's personal archive and interviews with collaborators including actors De Niro, Daniel Day-Lewis and Leonardo DiCaprio. It follows the director from his time as a New York University student to the present day, exploring the themes that have influenced his work. The series will be released on the streaming platform on October 17. Got a story? Emmerdale fan-favourite left devastated as he's attacked in early ITVX scenes
The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn't aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX. Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has been left utterly broken after being attacked in Emmerdale. We know that Vinny has been feeling overwhelmed and confused ever since he tried to kiss his friend Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). Because he's currently engaged to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) and hasn't previously expressed thoughts that he might not be straight, Vinny has been trying to ignore his feelings. As far as he was concerned, if he never addressed what was on his mind, it would eventually go away. But it hasn't. Following a chat with Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) about the benefits of support groups, Vinny found an LGBTQI+ one online. He ended up messaging a man called Mike, and even met up with him a couple of times. Vinny was comfortable around Mike, because he was led to believe they were both in similar boats. Sadly though, Mike's true side was revealed in this evening's episode – and his aim was not to help Vinny come to terms with his sexuality. At Vinny's house, Mike started to suggest that Vinny fancies him. He denied this and was confused, but Mike reckoned that Vinny had invited him over because he wanted them to sleep together. It was at this point Vinny started to realise that the man he had told some very private thoughts to was a completely different person in reality. He tried to run out of the house in fear, but Mike stopped him from leaving. The next time we saw Vinny he was getting brutally attacked by Mike. He was laying on the floor in tears, curled up and shaking, a shell of the man we've grown to love. Mike wanted money from Vinny, but he also spied the wedding rings on the side and was very interested in them. While this was happening, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) was just finishing a meeting with Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) about the wedding, but realised her phone was still in the house. She stood at the front door knocking for Vinny because it was locked, but he never came. Gabby got distracted in the end because Charles found the device, meaning she was completely oblivious as to what was going on. As the episode drew to a close, Vinny looked at himself in the mirror as he tried to come to terms with what had just happened. We then flashbacked to a few years ago, when Vinny's biological father Paul (Reece Dinsdale) would physically abuse him if he tried to stand up to his dad. Vinny stood in the house all alone in tears. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who's leaving Coronation Street? The latest gossip from Emmerdale? Given the state of the house, Gabby will discover what happened to some extent, but whether Vinny says what really happened remains to be seen. More Trending 'I think he's just a confused, a confused man at the minute', star Bradley Johnson said. 'I think the connection with Kammy is definitely real, it might be pansexuality, where you fancy the personality rather than the person. View More » 'I know I keep saying it but he's severely confused, and doesn't know what he wants, but he knows he's got that connection with Kammy.
