Mulroney, who is divorcing her husband of 16 years, was Markle's closest confidant for years, even before she became a royal.
However, they soon had a fallout with insiders from the Daily Mail claiming that the demise of the friendship "later caused tensions" in Mulroney's marriage.

The 45-year-old had a fallout with the "Suits" alum when the former was accused of racism in 2020 after allegedly threatening influencer Sasha Exeter's career.
After the incident went viral, the stylist issued an apology, prompting her then-husband to quit his job as a TV presenter to help her out.
'If [Jessica] could go back, a part of her wishes she was never part of [Markle and Prince Harry's 2018] wedding,' an insider told the outlet.
'While she enjoyed all the exposure it brought her at the time, that same exposure is what caused her social media rift to blow up in the way it did and led to the end of her friendship with Meghan and her marriage.'
A dark cloud

While Mulroney 'did consider Meghan family,' she now sees that whole time as a 'dark cloud," added the source.
The fashion guru was even a part of Markle's wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, where her daughter became the flower girl and her sons served as page boys. She shared her kids with her ex, who is the son of the former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.
She also made a quick appearance in the "Archetypes" podcast host's 2022 Netflix documentary "Harry & Meghan"
However, their friendship took a bad turn when she was accused of exhibiting "white privilege" during the height of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Despite her apology, she lost her contracts with famous names such as ABC, CTV, Cityline and more.
Following their fallout, Mulroney had suggested that the duo were still close and friends. However, fans soon noticed that the two had stopped posting about each other in 2021.

What is Jenna Ortega's soaring net worth after ‘Wednesday' success and blockbuster roles
Jenna Ortega , star of Netflix 's global smash Wednesday , has seen her financial fortunes skyrocket—joining the ranks of Hollywood's youngest multi-millionaires at just 22 years old. While exact salary figures for Ortega's breakout role as Wednesday Addams on Netflix remain under wraps, industry comparisons paint a lucrative picture. Netflix has historically paid rising stars significant sums: Deadline reports that Stranger Things cast members earned around $30,000 per episode for their first two seasons, but their paychecks soared to $250,000 per episode by Season 3 after the show became a sensation. Given Ortega's established career prior to Wednesday , it's reasonable and widely speculated that her per-episode earnings substantially outpaced those early figures and that she likely received a major raise following the unprecedented popularity of the series. In Tim Burton's anticipated sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice , filming with a reported $100 million budget, Ortega landed a highly publicized role as Astrid Deetz. Industry sources and rumors have placed her paycheck for the film at $750,000—underscoring her rapid value growth in Hollywood's eyes. Social media earnings Ortega's social power exploded alongside her acting profile. After Wednesday 's first season premiere, her Instagram following shot up by 10 million in just ten days—from 9.39 million to roughly 20 million. Currently, she boasts nearly 40 million followers—a rapid climb that drives serious sponsorship offers. Data suggests Ortega can fetch upwards of $78,000 per sponsored post, with that amount rising as her audience continues to grow. Partnership deals with powerhouse brands like Adidas, Christian Dior , and Neutrogena offer further evidence of her marketability. Despite her online fame, Ortega told The Face in November 2022 that she treats her social media presence as a business tool rather than a personal outlet: 'I have to look at my social media as a business platform because I think it's unhealthy for everyone involved... It's just work! It's just work posts.' Live Events What is her net worth According to Celebrity Net Worth , Ortega's financial status has surged to $5 million—a $2 million jump since 2022. This figure combines her TV and film earnings, substantial sponsorship income, and brand deals. With continuous roles in hit projects—from the Scream film franchise to music videos for top artists such as Sabrina Carpenter—industry observers expect Ortega's star (and fortune) to keep rising.

Paige Spiranac opens up about hiding her love life from social media after marriage with Steven Tinoco ended
Paige Spiranac opens up about hiding her love life from social media after marriage with Steven Tinoco ended (Image via Getty) Paige Spiranac revealed she is keeping her dating life off limits on social media. The 31-year-old golf influencer spoke during an Instagram Q&A on Tuesday, August 5, on her official Instagram Story. She explained that she was once married to athletic trainer Steven Tinoco, but the marriage did not work out. Because of that experience, she decided she will never share her private life online again. Years later, she still gets harsh and hurtful messages about her past. To protect her peace, she chose to keep her personal life just for herself. Paige Spiranac explains decision after failed marriage During the Instagram Story on August 5, Paige Spiranac said, 'I got married young, and when it didn't work out, I decided that I was never, ever, ever, ever going to share my personal life online ever again.' She said those four 'evers' showed how firm she was in her choice. Spiranac married Steven Tinoco in 2019, but they divorced two years later. Even now, she still receives 'horrible and harassing' messages about that relationship, she added. By mentioning her failed marriage so clearly, Spiranac made it plain that she won't discuss boyfriends, dates, or breakups in public. 'I share so much about myself online. I'm very open and honest, but I want to keep a little something just for me,' she said. This shows that some parts of a person's life must stay private even for someone with millions of followers. Paige Spiranac says her mental health comes first when it comes to dating Paige Spiranac said her choice is 'more for my mental wellbeing and my sanity.' She told fans, 'If you never put anything online, you never owe anyone an explanation.' In 2022, she first confirmed she was 'no longer married,' but gave few details at the time. Back then, she warned that public relationships let strangers feel they can pry. 'When you make your relationship public, you give everyone the right to ask questions, and you have to answer them even about breakups,' she told The Spun. Aside from her personal life, Spiranac also answered fun questions in Tuesday's Q&A. She shared her proudest moment and talked about her first acting role in Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix. She filmed a scene with Adam Sandler in Los Angeles this spring and called him 'genuine, funny, kind, humble.' Last month, she walked the red carpet at the film's New York premiere, where she played a sporting goods store employee who helps Happy Gilmore with a golf simulator. Paige Spiranac remains open with fans just not about dating and is focusing on her mental health and growing career. Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. Watch Here!

Russell Wilson's wife Ciara blasted for ‘disrespectful' sheer dress — critics say she emasculated NFL star
Ciara's daring sheer gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar party in March 2023 ignited social media (Getty Images) In March 2023, Ciara set social media ablaze after stepping onto the Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet in a daring, crystal-studded sheer gown designed by Peter Dundas. The dress, which revealed a thong and bared most of her back, triggered a wave of criticism — but the nature of the backlash raised deeper questions about how Black women are policed for expressing their bodies. Ciara's sheer Vanity Fair dress sparked outrage — but was the backlash rooted in misogynoir? Many online critics took issue with Ciara's outfit not simply because it was revealing, but because she is a wife and mother. Culture writer Tiwa Adebayo noted the hypocrisy of this reaction, especially since other celebrities — including Emily Ratajkowski and Hunter Schafer — wore similarly revealing dresses that night but were largely spared the same judgment. 'It looks like the biggest group criticizing her, especially on Twitter, is actually Black men,' said Adebayo, who connected the outrage to respectability politics and the perception that Ciara's choice of attire reflected poorly on her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson . 'They've taken [the dress] and applied it to her husband... implying he doesn't have control over his woman in quite a damaging way.' A viral clapback and a deeper cultural critique Ciara responded to the backlash with humor, posting a TikTok where she strutted in a full white sheet to audio from her red carpet moment. She captioned it 'selective outrage' — a pointed nod to the inconsistency in how society treats women's fashion choices, particularly for Black women. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Villas For Sale in Dubai Might Surprise You Villas in Dubai | Search Ads Get Info Undo Race and gender therapist Donna Oriowo reminded critics, 'Her husband is her partner, not her owner.' She added, 'Too often we equate love with ownership, and maleness with dominance over a wife.' The controversy surrounding Ciara's dress was not an isolated event but part of a larger pattern, one that disproportionately targets Black women for breaking unspoken social rules. As Adebayo concluded, 'It's symptomatic of a wider trend of having contradictory high standards for Black women.' More than just a fashion statement, Ciara's dress forced a cultural reckoning with deep-rooted double standards.
