Paige Spiranac opens up about hiding her love life from social media after marriage with Steven Tinoco ended
Paige Spiranac revealed she is keeping her dating life off limits on social media. The 31-year-old golf influencer spoke during an Instagram Q&A on Tuesday, August 5, on her official Instagram Story.
She explained that she was once married to athletic trainer Steven Tinoco, but the marriage did not work out. Because of that experience, she decided she will never share her private life online again. Years later, she still gets harsh and hurtful messages about her past. To protect her peace, she chose to keep her personal life just for herself.

'I got married young, and when it didn't work out, I decided that I was never, ever, ever, ever going to share my personal life online ever again.'
She said those four 'evers' showed how firm she was in her choice. Spiranac married Steven Tinoco in 2019, but they divorced two years later. Even now, she still receives 'horrible and harassing' messages about that relationship, she added.

By mentioning her failed marriage so clearly, Spiranac made it plain that she won't discuss boyfriends, dates, or breakups in public.
'I share so much about myself online. I'm very open and honest, but I want to keep a little something just for me,'
she said.

'more for my mental wellbeing and my sanity.'
She told fans, 'If you never put anything online, you never owe anyone an explanation.' In 2022, she first confirmed she was 'no longer married,' but gave few details at the time. Back then, she warned that public relationships let strangers feel they can pry.
'When you make your relationship public, you give everyone the right to ask questions, and you have to answer them even about breakups,'
she told The Spun.
Aside from her personal life, Spiranac also answered fun questions in Tuesday's Q&A. She shared her proudest moment and talked about her first acting role in Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix.
She filmed a scene with Adam Sandler in Los Angeles this spring and called him
'genuine, funny, kind, humble.'
Last month, she walked the red carpet at the film's New York premiere, where she played a sporting goods store employee who helps Happy Gilmore with a golf simulator.

Vivek Agnihotri Says ‘Star-Kid Obsession' Is Hurting Bollywood: ‘A Common Man Can't Make Entry'

Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has delivered yet another blunt critique of the Hindi film industry, this time targeting its lack of inclusivity, over-reliance on star kids, and disregard for writers. Speaking with Siddharth Kannan, the director said Bollywood's closed-door culture is stifling new talent and weakening its creative core. 'It is because there has been no new talent entering the film industry. A common man cannot make an entry," Vivek said. Using the example of Shah Rukh Khan, he argued that if the superstar were to debut today without English fluency or an elite background, he might never get through the doors of a studio. He criticised the current selection process that prioritises Instagram followers over acting ability, questioning how aspiring actors from smaller cities like Kanpur, Jhansi, or Visakhapatnam could ever break in. 'So what happens is, they take kids from film families. Also, star kids want to become influencers, and influencers want to become stars," he added. 'Writers Ki Koi Aukaat Nahi Hai' Vivek also took aim at the sidelining of writers in Bollywood, which he believes is damaging the quality of Hindi cinema. 'Writers ki koi aukaat nahi hai. Stars aur studios ne unki aukaat cheen li hai. They've made a nexus. Studios want numbers, and for that, they want stars… The writer gets ₹10, while the star gets ₹10,000," he said. He pointed out that the overexposure of star kids on social media — from their outfits to their workouts — strips away the audience's ability to imagine them as different characters. This, combined with poor writing, results in films lacking depth and authenticity.
