Bed Bath & Beyond Is Back! Chain Opens New Location Two Years After Shutting Last Store amid Bankruptcy
NEED TO KNOW Bed, Bath & Beyond closed all of its 360 brick-and-mortar stores in July 2023 In October 2024, the retailer partnered with The Brand House Collective, formerly known as Kirkland's Inc. The new collaboration has launched the return of the brick-and-mortar store, with a new name: Bed, Bath & Beyond HomeBed, Bath & Beyond is back — but with a new name! The popular home goods store has reentered the brick-and-mortar scene, two years after shutting down its last store. The new Nashville location opened on Friday, Aug. 8, and will now be known as Bed, Bath & Beyond Home. This follows the company's announcement in 2023 that it filed for bankruptcy and closed all of its physical stores, with the last one closing in July that year. The company still has a significant internet shopping presence. The revival of the storefront follows the company's October 2024 partnership with The Brand House Collective, formerly known as Kirkland's Inc. Bed, Bath & Beyond Home is now a production of the partnership. "We're proud to reintroduce one of retail's most iconic names with the launch of Bed Bath & Beyond Home, beautifully reimagined for how families gather at home today," Amy Sullivan, CEO of The Brand House Collective, said in a press release. "This isn't just a store, it's a fresh start for a brand that means something special to so many families. With Bed Bath & Beyond Home, we're delivering on our mission to offer great brands, for any budget, in every room," she continued. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Bed, Bath & Beyond coupons were no longer available for use after the company filed for bankruptcy. But with the addition of Bed Bath & Beyond Home, fans of the store will finally be able to use their coupons once more. Customers who go to the Nashville store will also receive a new coupon to shop with. Bed Bath & Beyond was originally founded in 1971 . In April 2023, it filed for Chapter 11 protection after several failed attempts to reboot its business. The company announced it would be closing all 360 of its brick-and-mortar stores, and its sister chain, Buy Buy Baby, which the home retailer acquired in 2007, also revealed plans to shut down its business. Bed Bath & Beyond released a general statement to shoppers on its website at the time: "Thank you to all of our loyal customers. We have made the difficult decision to begin winding down our operations. Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby stores remain open to serve you." In August 2023, which launched as an online liquidator in 1999, acquired Bed Bath & Beyond's name, intellectual property and digital assets two months later for $21.5 million. There's still time to shop Coop's back-to-school sale — these are the dorm essentials I'd buy
Whether you're a student or a parent, the days leading up to going back to school are exciting. However, the shopping might seem never-ending and hunting down the right options within your budget can be exhausting. The good news is that you can now strike off finding quality dorm bedding from your list, thanks to Coop's back to school sale offering up to 20% off on pillows, sheets, protectors and more. My favorite deal is the 20% discount on the best mattress protector in our guide: the Coop Ultra-Tech Waterproof Mattress Protector, which earned an overall score of 4.5 out of 5 stars for its performance. But if all you want is to grab everything you need at maximum discount, there's also a back-to-school bundle where you can choose pillows, sheet set and a topper with 40% off; ideal when you consider that a dorm room bed is unlikely to feature the best mattress or best pillows. Need to explore more bedding options to create the ultimate sleep haven in your dorm? Head to our best back to school deals where we track the top discounts on everything you need from mattresses, pillows to even weighted blankets and sleep masks. And remember that if you're not up against a back-to-school deadline you may get a better deal by waiting for the Labor Day mattress sales. But first, here are my top 5 product recommendations to shop from Coop now… 1. Coop Ultra-Tech Waterproof Mattress Protector: twin was $46 from $36.80 at Coop Sleep GoodsOur lead tester gives this mattress protector her seal of approval. In her in-depth Coop Ultra-Tech Waterproof Mattress Protector review, it proved to be 100% waterproof, noiseless and temperature regulating translating to worry-free, comfortable and clean sleep all night long. A twin XL mattress protector is now $36.80 (was $46) and comes with benefits including a 100-night sleep trial, one-year warranty and free shipping. Our review: ★★★★½User score: ★★★★★ (based on over 300 reviews) 2. Essence Adjustable Pillows: standard set from $85 from $68 at Coop Sleep GoodsI've tested our best pillow overall: the Coop Original Adjustable, which continues to be my favorite one and top pick for all sleepers. The Essence pillow is different in terms of fill (made from breathable and plush down-alternative fibers) but the design is the same (both being adjustable). It can, therefore, suit any sleeping position with an addition of a 2-inch gusset for extra support. You can now find it at 20% off which drops the price of a standard pack of two from $85 to $65. Plus you can enjoy a 100-night sleep trial, 5-year warranty and free shipping. User score: ★★★★★ (based on 3 reviews) 3. Comphy SoftSpa Sheet Set: twin from $149 from $119.20 at Coop Sleep GoodsWashing bedding might not make it your list of priorities in college — so what you need is a set of high-performance bed sheets. Not only is the Comphy SoftSpa range Coop's most affordable bedding line-up, it's also the one featuring a low-maintenance, quick-drying and easy stain-release fabric: SoftPhiber, which also gets softer with every wash, according to the brand. It is available in nine different sizes and six chic colors. A twin XL set is now $119.20, while a queen size will cost your $143.20 (was $179). Plus you get Coop's bedding benefits: 100-night sleep trial, one-year warranty and free shipping. User score: ★★★★★ (based on over 1,500 reviews) 4. Coop Original Mattress Topper: twin XL from $199 from $159.20 at Coop Sleep Goods Need to break into your dorm bed or make it more comfy? A mattress topper is the solution. Like some of the best mattress toppers, this one from Coop features breathable and contouring cross-cut memory foam and microfiber fill, baffle-box construction to keep it evenly distributed and extra thick 2-inch straps to secure it in place on the bed. Grab a twin XL topper at $159.20 (was $199) while a queen size is priced at $239.20 (was $299). This also comes with Coop's standard bedding benefits as above. User score: ★★★★★ (based on over 250 reviews) 5. Back to School Bundle: from $199.80 at Coop Sleep GoodsHow does an all-in-one sleep campus pack to save time, money and energy sound? Coop now gives you the option to build your own 'back to school sleep bundle', which includes the Essence pack of pillows, any choice of sheet set and any choice of topper. Based on your choices and sizes, prices may vary but we expect it to start from $199.80 (if selecting all base-models of products). The best part? You get an overall 40% off a bundle as part of the current sale.

Hot sleeper? Coop's new linen-cotton bedding range promises both temperature control and softness
Looking to upgrade your bedding to something both elegant and breathable this summer? Coop Sleep Goods has launched just what you need: the new Linen-Cotton collection. Release date: 6 August 2025Products: Linen-cotton sheet set, duvet cover, pillowcase set, flat sheet, fitted sheetWarranty: 1 yearTrial: 100-nights Yes, the best cooling mattress can be your ultimate savior, especially if you're a hot sleeper. However, if you're someone who wants to double up the breathability to fight the heat, Coop recommends the new collection since it's crafted from premium flax linen-cotton blend which promises softness, temperature control and moisture-wicking properties. And if you've invested in the best mattress and best pillows for your sleep needs, it only makes sense to dress them up in bedding that looks and feels just right for you. This OEKO-TE Standard 100 certified collection includes a sheet set, a duvet cover, a pillowcase set, a flat sheet and a fitted sheet, all available in three elegant colors (white, dove grey and cream) that should pair well with any décor. Let's take a closer look at the product specifications… The Coop Linen-Cotton Sheet Set, starting from $199 for a twin, is available in six sizes (twin to Cal king) and includes a top sheet, a flat sheet and two pillowcases. The collection is also the brand's most expensive sheet set in comparison to Coop's other ranges: SoftSpa (starting at $149 MSRP), Tencel (from $159 MSRP), Percale (starting at $149 MSRP) and Cool+ (from $159 MSRP). If you just want to purchase a Linen-Cotton range sheet, prices start at $109 for a queen size flat sheet, while a fitted sheet starts at $119 for a queen. By comparison, SoftSpa flat and fitted sheets both start at $89 for a queen. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. The Linen-Cotton Duvet Cover meanwhile, also sits at the upper price bracket with a full/queen priced at $249. Again, SoftSpa duvet covers are the most affordable with a $119 starting price for a twin/twin xl, while the Tencel and Percale models come in at a mid-range price (the MSRP for a queen Tencel is $159 and a full/queen Percale is $139). You can also make a standalone purchase of pillowcase covers made from the new same top-quality linen and cotton blend. The Linen-Cotten pillowcase set start at $46 for two in standard/queen size. Once again, this makes the new line the most expensive, with the most affordable being two SoftSpa pillowcases in standard/queen size available for $29. Yes, the new luxury linen-cotton bedding range from Coop comes at a premium price. However, it's possible you'll be able to get these at up to 20% off during bedding sales, or during wider sales events such as the upcoming Labor Day mattress sales. For example, the SoftSpa, Percale, Cool+ and Tencel sheet sets all currently have 20% off, and the Linen-Cotton range may have this discount in the future. Coop's sleep benefits sweeten the deal, too, since you get to enjoy a 100-night sleep trial, one-year limited warranty and free shipping for all items under the new bedding range. Coop Linen-Cotton Sheet Set: twin from $199 at Coop Sleep GoodsCoop Linen-Cotton sheet set is available in six sizes and three colors, and includes a top sheet, a flat sheet and two pillowcases. Prices start at $199 for a twin, going up to $269 for a king or cal king. Coop Linen-Cotton Duvet cover: full/queen from $249 at Coop Sleep GoodsThe Coop Linen-Cotton duvet cover is available in two sizes and three colors, and starts at $249 for a full/queen, while a king/Cal king is priced at $269. Coop Linen-Cotton Pillowcase Set: standard from $46 at Coop Sleep GoodsCoop Linen-Cotton pillowcases are available in two sizes and three colors, starting at $46 for a standard/queen pack while a king set is priced at $49. All products in the new Linen-Cotton collection are crafted from a unique blend of 51% certified European Flax Linen and 49% cotton — combining the softness, breathability and temperature-regulating properties of both natural fibers. Linen is naturally moisture wicking, which may be good news for those prone to night sweats or overheating. The brand also claims that the items in the new Linen-Cotton range are made to last — softening with every wash. While high-quality linen is known to crease easily, Coop say combining it with cotton fibers helps with maintenance by providing a certain level of wrinkle-resistance. The brand recommends machine washing the range on a cold, gentle cycle. It can also be tumble dried and ironed (both on a low heat setting). The Linen-Cotton range includes a sheet set (a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases), and items you can buy individually: a duvet cover (with an L-shaped zipper which makes it easy to insert your comforter) pillowcases, a flat sheet and a fitted sheet. All products come with the option of three chic, calming colors: dove grey, white and cream.
