Man involved in Antonio Brown brawl claims ex-NFL star fired gunshots at him... and HE was victim of brutal attack

Daily Mail19-05-2025

Antonio Brown has been accused of lying about the shocking brawl he was involved in over the weekend after the controversial ex-NFL star claimed he was simply fighting off attackers who were trying to steal his jewelry.
In footage that quickly went viral on social media, Brown was seen fighting with a group of men he later claimed were attempting to rob him and 'cause physical harm to me' outside a boxing event organized by online influencer Adin Ross at Miami's Brand Risk Warehouse on Friday night.
The 36-year-old was dragged to the floor by a man who, it later emerged, was a member of security trying to protect him. In the carnage, however, he kicked out at the man.
Shortly after, in other clips, Brown re-appeared from behind a car carrying what seemed to be a firearm in his hand. The videos showed him rushing outside before a couple of gunshots were heard, causing panicked bystanders to flee.
In another clip that appeared on social media, he could be seen being led out - with his arms behind his back - by a police officer.
Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu, 43, claims he was one of the men seen brawling with Brown outside the boxing event - but he has a completely different version of events.

In an interview with TMZ Sports, Zül-Qarnaįn has alleged that he was actually the victim of the attack after being jumped by the Super Bowl winner and two of his friends, before Brown fired gunshots at him with children nearby.
'He's a liar,' he said about Antonio. 'If you watch the video everybody was attacking me, it was a 3v1.
'The dude with the green hoodie was with AB, the other little Puerto Rico-looking dude that was swinging the bat was with AB, and the rest was Adin's security. The guy that he kicked was Adin's security. All he was doing was pulling him away.
'He tried to swing on me, scratched my neck, and then it just turned into a brawl from there.'
Zül-Qarnaįn - a Muslim 'freedom fighter' and self-proclaimed hip-hop artist, fashion designer and filmmaker - claims his feud with Brown goes back three years after the former New England Patriots star allegedly got him arrested in Dubai back in 2022.
He also suggested Brown owes him $180,000 despite not clarifying why.
After what he claims was an ambush from Brown and his friends, Zül-Qarnaįn Nantambu alleges the polarizing football player then went and obtained a firearm before unloading in his direction.
'He went got a gun, shot wildfire and we fight,' he continued. 'He shot at me twice, praise be to Allah I wasn't hit. They got children out their selling candy bro. He could've hit one of them kids.

'He runs into me after he shoots me, we're hustling for the gun, fighting for the gun all over the ground.
'We're holding onto the gun for dear life, we both get up off the ground and then when I look up the police is pointing a gun at us, the sheriff is pointing a gun at us.
'That's when I throw my hands up, he runs inside and that's when they run after him.'
DailyMail.com has contacted Miami police for comment but officers told TMZ that they responded to a call around 3am and several people were interviewed. No arrests were made and no injuries were reported but the investigation is ongoing.
A topless Brown did appear on Ross' social media stream following the incident, when he initially claimed he couldn't remember what happened.
'I blacked out... I don't know what happened,' he said. 'I have CTE,' he added, referring to chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a brain condition that afflicts many former football players.
Shortly after, however, Brown discussed his run-in with the cops. 'They tried to take me to the movies,' he said. 'The cop was gripping me up... I'm like: "I didn't do nothing bro..."'
He later released a statement on social media.
'Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,' it read.
'Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.
'I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me.
'I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process. Thank you for the support and love.'
Brown has become infamous in retirement for making controversial statements on social media, attacking the likes of Tom Brady and Caitlin Clark. Ahead of last year's presidential election, he also spoke at a Donald Trump rally.

Mom of three sisters 'suffocated by their dad in the woods' breaks silence - as ex-commando remains on the run

A mother whose three daughters were allegedly suffocated to death by their father has broken her silence as her Army veteran ex-husband remains of the run. Whitney Decker believes 'something broke inside' of her ex-husband Travis Decker and that he 'would not have done what he did if he was himself', her attorney revealed in a heartbreaking statement early Thursday morning. 'He clearly had some sort of break and everything that he had been living with, everything that had been bottled up inside of him for so long as far as trauma, just won out,' Whitney's attorney Arianna Cozart told the Seattle Times. Travis is wanted on suspicion of murder of his daughters Paityn, nine, Evelyn, eight, and Olivia, five, in Wenatchee, Washington State. He remains at-large and is considered dangerous, given his extensive military training and propensity for violence.

Sophia Bush claims she suffered 'every kind' of abuse from 'older man' on TV show

Sophia Bush has made serious allegations about suffering 'every kind' of abuse from 'someone old enough to be my father' on the set of a TV series, which had been on her 'bucket list.' Based on the timing, the 42-year-old One Tree Hill alum was most likely referring to her role as Detective Erin Lindsay in NBC procedural Chicago P.D., which she exited in 2017 after four seasons. 'I had a workplace, ongoing trauma revolving around an unending situation with someone old enough to be my father and I was like what is happening?' Sophia recalled on Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky Tuesday. 'When I look back at it, I had the opportunity after two years to go. I did the thing I learned to do and said, "I will not have my integrity diminished by someone else's behavior. I will be unflappable. I will come to work and do my job." And I couldn't.' Bush went on to describe the following two years as 'physical hell' where she would suffer spontaneous illness, hives, hair loss, crippling anxiety, insomnia, and 'really crazy weight fluctuation.' 'As an extrovert who loves people, to be hit with anxiety in such a way that I could barely be out of the house - if people touched me in public, I would jump out of my skin,' the SoCal native explained. 'Because I had to go to work ready for war all the time, I had to learn where to stand to not get elbowed in the ribs or how to block a scene to not be touched. It was just exhausting.' Six months after her character was written off the show, Sophia received a call from an 'executive apologizing for what they'd done and not done' during the height of the #MeToo movement. 'And [they] said, "We're very aware we just made it out of [MeToo] unscathed,"' Bush scoffed. 'And I was like "Glad you did! I'm in so much therapy. I've been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder, but I'm thrilled you guys didn't get dragged through the press!"' And while the four male showrunners on Chicago P.D. are all in their 50s, the billionaire creator Dick Wolf - who also masterminded the Law & Order and FBI franchises - happens to be 78 years old. And two of the Work in Progress podcaster's former castmates - Elias Koteas and Jason Beghe - are in their 60s. Sophia reunited with her Grey's Anatomy co-star Chris Carmack for Jeff Fisher's switched-at-birth psychological thriller The Stranger in My Home, which premieres June 24 via VOD. Bush added: 'When I look back at it, I had the opportunity after two years to go. I did the thing I learned to do and said, "I will not have my integrity diminished by someone else's behavior. I will be unflappable. I will come to work and do my job." And I couldn't' Sophia said: 'As an extrovert who loves people, to be hit with anxiety in such a way that I could barely be out of the house - if people touched me in public, I would jump out of my skin. Because I had to go to work ready for war all the time, I had to learn where to stand to not get elbowed in the ribs or how to block a scene to not be touched' On the personal front, Bush might have secretly married her girlfriend Ashlyn Harris as they've both wearing wedding bands on their left ring fingers during the past two weeks. The Freedom Hair actress finalized her divorce from second ex-husband Grant Hughes on December 30 after 13 months of marriage. The 39-year-old retired soccer goalkeeper co-parents two adopted children - daughter Sloane, 4; and son Ocean, 2 - with ex-wife Ali Krieger, and their divorce was finalized December 4 after four years of marriage. Sophia and Ashlyn began dating in October 2023, but they spoke on the same feminist panel during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in June 2023.
