Sam Asghari scathingly brands Kevin Federline a ‘professional father‘

Sam Asghari has scathingly branded Kevin Federline a 'professional father'.
The model, 31, made the biting remark about his former wife Britney Spears' ex, who has two children with the pop star, when asked for his thoughts on the release of DJ Kevin's forthcoming memoir, You Thought You Knew.
In a video shared by TMZ, Sam says when asked about the autobiography, which promises to delve into Federline's marriage to Britney and his experiences as a dad: 'Well, he was a professional father.'
Sam added: 'It would be the first book that'll tell you how to be a professional father.'
The remark was made while Asghari was leaving The Abbey, a popular venue in West Hollywood.
Kevin, 47, who was married to Britney, 43, from 2004 to 2007, announced earlier this month his memoir was on its way.
He describes the book as 'extremely intimate and transparent,' aiming to provide insight into his rise to fame, the challenges of fatherhood and the emotional toll of public life.
In a press release, Kevin stated: 'I achieved my biggest dreams, dealt with crushing heartbreak, and endured constant ridicule, all while becoming the father my children needed as they experienced nonstop emotional turbulence.'
The memoir is set for release on October 21, 2025.
Kevin has two sons with Spears: Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden James, 18.
Following his divorce from Britney, the former back-up dancer gained custody of the children and received $20,000 per month in child support until they turned 18.
He later remarried, to Victoria Prince, with whom he has two daughters, Jordan Kay, 12, and Peyton Marie, nine.
Kevin also has two older children, Kori Madison, 21, and Kaleb Michael Jackson, 19, from his previous relationship with actress Shar Jackson.
Sam and Britney met while filming the music video for her 2016 hit Slumber Party, and began dating shortly after.
They got engaged in 2021 and married in June 2022.
But their marriage ended in divorce in 2024 following a miscarriage in 2022.
Sam is currently in a relationship with realtor Brooke Irvine.
Despite their separation, Asghari has expressed support for Spears.
In January, he told Page Six: 'I think that the number one factor of a partner is to be there for one another, no matter what.'

Justin Bieber impersonator tricks Las Vegas club into letting him perform, runs up $15,500 bar tab

A Justin Bieber impersonator ran up a $10,000 ($15,500 AUD) bar tab after he tricked staff at a Las Vegas nightclub into believing he was the Canadian pop star — even getting up on the stage for an impromptu performance. The bizarre incident took place at the five-star Wynn Las Vegas, where LA-based DJ Gryffin was performing at XS Nightclub. Gryffin was told that Bieber, 31, was in town and wanted to make a surprise appearance during his Saturday night show. Believing he was the real Biebs, he invited him into the DJ booth, TMZ reported. Video posted on social media shows the shirtless, tattooed impersonator, wearing dark shades and low-slung blue jeans, belting out a version of Bieber's 2015 hit 'Sorry' in front of a packed nightclub crowd, all of whom appeared oblivious about the scam. The shameless scammer, identified as 29-year-old Dylan Desclos, sang a couple of Bieber's songs before Wynn staff realized the truth and kicked him off the stage. Gryffin jokingly dubbed the prank 'Beibergate' in an Instagram post, explaining that a 'dark venue and loud music didn't help.' Gryffin shared a video showing him hyping up the French fake Bieber's performance before being told the news of the devastating dupe. 'I literally thought, 'he's put on a lot of weight since the album dropped,'' Gryffin said at the end of the video. Social media clips also show the Desclos posing for selfies and browsing stores with his 'security guards' during the Vegas trip. He and his entourage ran up an almost $10,000 bar tab during their stunt, which the fake Bieber eventually paid as he was kicked out, Neon reports. Desclos, who has shared a number of videos in recent years of him pretending to be Bieber, even got similar tattoos and a matching buzzcut as the real mega star. Last year, the impersonator caught the attention of Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, after he was spotted on a train in his native France. 'I'm scared…' Hailey commented on a TikTok of an impersonator. The nightclub has responded to the prank. 'After an elaborate and multi-step ruse by him and his advance team, a Justin Bieber impersonator was granted access to the XS stage,' a representative for Wynn and XS Nightclub told TMZ. 'As soon as the error was recognized, he was removed from the resort and denied future entry.' Representatives for Desclos did not respond immediately to requests for comment. Kevin Costner seeks to have sexual harassment lawsuit dismissed

Kevin Costner has sought to have a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by a stuntwoman dismissed. The 70-year-old actor-and-director is being sued by Devyn LaBella, who has claimed she was subjected to a 'violent, unscripted, unscheduled rape scene' without notice on set in May 2023 while filming Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 2 but his legal team have filed new court documents asking for the lawsuit - which accused the Bodyguard star of sexual discrimination, sexual harassment, creation of a hostile work environment, retaliation, and breach of contract - to be thrown out. In paperwork obtained by the Daily Mail, it is claimed Devyn was happy on set and even sent a grateful text to a supervisor after the shoot wrapped, as well as offering Kevin's own version of what happened during the scene in question. According to the actor's declaration, the scene was included the script and saw Devyn in "full costume" of bike shorts and ankle-length dress lying next to actor Roger Ivens in a covered wagon. He insisted the scene only had Roger lift the hem of Devyn's dress before swinging a leg over her so that he ended up "on all fours over her". The declaration insisted: "There was no nudity, simulated sex, simulated rape, physical contact, fighting, gyrating, or any physicality other than Devyn's outer dress being pushed from her ankles to her knees. "While Devyn's outer dress may have bunched up around her knees (there was a lot of fabric), the dress was still below her waist and the pantaloons and petticoats underneath remained undisturbed." The Yellowstone actor insisted the scene had been blocked ahead of time with the participation of the performer, who "understood what was to happen and consented to help.". In the filing, Kevin - who directed, co-wrote, produced and starred in Horizon - included declarations from other members of the cast and crew to support his version of events. And he alleged Devyn had texted a supervisor after filming and said: "hank you for these wonderful weeks! I so appreciate you! I learned so much and thank you again. I'm really happy it worked out the way it did too. Have a great rest of the shoot and yes talk soon!" The stuntwoman's team first filed the lawsuit against Costner and Horizon producers in May, and weeks later filed an amended complaint including text messages with the movie's intimacy coordinator, and the alleged emotions she felt after the scene. In response, Kevin's lawyer Marty Singer told in a statement: "Ms. LaBella was doing a rehearsal on an Insert Shot for a scripted scene. There was no intimacy or anything sexual in the shot. "There was tugging on a dress while she was fully clothed in a dress with long bloomers lying down next to a male actor." The lawyer has also alleged that LaBella - who was a stunt double for series star Ella Hunt - thanked her supervisor for "these wonderful weeks" after finishing work on the Western saga. Singer continued: "Numerous witnesses have contradicted Ms. LaBella's meritless claims. "She herself texted her supervisor after she wrapped stating, 'Thank you for these wonderful weeks.' "We look forward to the swift end of this specious lawsuit." Court documents stated Devyn was hired as a stunt double and not informed or consented to the added scene, which she alleges caused 'permanent trauma'. She also claimed the absence of an intimacy coordinator during filming. Her suit, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, states the scene was not on the call sheet and Ella herself refused to perform it, allegedly walking off set. She added Kevin directed Roger to perform the assault scene and asked her to stand in without adequate preparation or safeguards. Kevin's attorney Marty Singer denied the allegations, calling her a 'serial accuser' and accusing her of 'shakedown tactics'. He stated: 'Kevin always wants to make sure that everyone is comfortable working on his films and takes safety on set very seriously.' He also said Devyn had approved and rehearsed a prior intimate scene and was 'in good spirits' afterwards.

From Disney to mega-mansions: Jonas Brothers' wild real estate ride

They may be celebrating 20 years of chart-topping hits with their new anniversary tour, but behind the music, the Jonas Brothers have also been quietly building a property empire. From a multimillion-dollar Texas ranch they bought at the height of their Disney fame to record-breaking multimillion-dollar estates in LA's Encino, the brothers' real estate journey mirrors their evolution from teen idols to global superstars. And just as they are hitting the road again, their homes are still making headlines. 2008: The boys' first major investment Fresh off their early Disney fame, the brothers – then aged 21, 19 and 16 – pooled funds, empowering their mum with power of attorney, to purchase a $4.3m (US$2.8m) ranch in Westlake, a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas. The stunning 7,360-sq-ft home, reportedly purchased in 2008, featured six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a music room, theatre, game room, wet bar, outdoor kitchen, gazebo, saltwater pool and sweeping golf-course vistas. They sold the family home in 2015 after nearly a decade of ownership. MORE NEWS Aussie TV stars cash in on property moves Real-life Minecraft castle up for grabs Catherine Zeta-Jones insists owning 4 homes is 'not excessive' Kevin's real estate pivot (and lessons learned) In 2010, Kevin struck out on his own with a $1.85m (US$1.2m) Denville, New Jersey mansion – five bedrooms, marble floors and white-stone facade – shared with his wife Danielle; they sold it in 2014 for $2.6m (US$1.68m). He then launched JonasWerner, a luxury home-building and development firm. He built a Hamptons-style estate in Boonton, New Jersey – complete with a 1,500-bottle wine cellar, cigar lounge, and putting green. After a sale at a minor loss around 2017, he later built and sold another New Jersey home in Montville for a modest profit. Yet real estate wasn't always smooth sailing. MORE NEWS: Snake drama forces costly Swift bathroom repairs In a candid interview earlier this year, Kevin revealed he lost nearly 90 per cent of his wealth during the band's hiatus due to poor property and business ventures. Thankfully, one of his projects eventually netted a $1.54m (US$1m) profit in 2020, and as he reflected, the band's 2019 reunion gave him a much-needed second chance. Recently, Kevin and his wife Danielle sold another New Jersey mansion for $4.2m (US$2.7m), a cool $1.54m (US$1m) gain on their $2.6m (US$1.7m) purchase. The 6,000-sq-ft home overflows with luxe extras: pool house, wine cellar, wraparound bar and four-car garage. The sale came just ahead of the Jonas 20 tour's launch. Nick's style: From Broadway to Beverly Hills Nick's real estate journey shows his bold and stylish approach: In 2012, as a rising Broadway star, he rented a lavish Chelsea, NYC condo with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, six TVs, iPad-controlled lighting, and a 120-inch drop-down movie screen. The home was listed for $35,437 (US$23,000) a month – though it's unclear how much Nick paid during his stay. In 2013, he set down roots in Los Angeles, snapping up a $5m (US$3.2m) Mediterranean home on the Sunset Strip, later profiting slightly by selling it for around $5.2m (US$3.4m). By 2018, newly wed to Priyanka Chopra, Nick snapped up a Beverly Hills Post Office mansion for around $10m (US$6.5m) – which they sold over a year later at a modest gain. The mansion, originally built in 1938, featured a living room with a wood-burning fireplace and rustic wood floors, with a spot for Nick's grand piano. Joe's West Coast adventures: From WeHo to Sherman Oaks Joe bought his first home for $4m (US$2.6m) in May 2014, according to Architectural Digest. The 2,888-square-foot traditional-style mansion in West Hollywood was originally built in 1923, and still retained much of its charm, but with modern upgrades like stainless steel appliances and white subway-tile backsplashes in the kitchen and marble-topped vanities in the bathrooms. However, Joe changed his tune on the place less than a year later, selling it for $4.5m (US$2.9m). He subsequently decided to rent, staying at a $61,630 (US$40,000) a-month Airbnb in the Hollywood Hills area. In February 2016, Joe reportedly gave up the renter lifestyle and spent $5.7m (US$3.7m) on a brand-new modern farmhouse in Sherman Oaks. The 5,600-square-foot home, known as The Sutton House, included four bedrooms and six bathrooms. The singer put the farmhouse back on the market in August 2018, and it sold for $5.7m (US$3.7m) in early 2019 – the same year Joe and now ex-wife Sophie Turner bought a neighbouring 15,000-sq-ft home for $21.7m (US$14.1m), loaded with ten bedrooms, 14 baths, a wine cellar, home theatre, gym, and office – constructed of wood and stone for bespoke elegance. The couple sold the mansion in 2021 for $23.4m (US$15.2m) – making a tidy profit. It marked one of the priciest home sales in the San Fernando Valley that year. The record-breaking Encino estate The trio's most headline-grabbing property moves came in 2019 when Nick and Priyanka paid a record $30.8m (US$20m) for a 20,000-sq-ft Encino, California estate. The home is grand in every sense of the word, with a double-height entry hall with wood-panelled ceiling, a glass-lined mezzanine that overlooks the entryway, and a living room with a floor-to-ceiling marble fireplace. The couple worked together to join their aesthetics, and Nick told Architectural Digest at the time that he felt 'really lucky' that he had 'found someone who was totally understanding and accepting of my preferences.' The couple still share the home today.
