Britney Spears Posted A Fiery Message About Her Exes

Britney Spears was serious when she said "Don't you know that you're toxic?" in 2003. Now, two years after Britney and Sam Asghari's divorce, after only 14 months of marriage, she shared a now-deleted message about two unspecified exes on social media while expressing her ability to connect with animals. "I'm so turned off by humanity and the way people have literally … I have no words !!!" Britney began in the June 10 post. "I dated two fucking complete assholes," she said, noting she had an "extremely shady week." "I realized I loved their dogs more than them and I think it's because their dogs bowed to me every time I entered the room!!!" "Now the guys were of course cruel humans that never even acknowledged me and never held my hand in the car for 6 years !!!" Britney added. "I choose animals over people anyday!!!" Britney's had several high-profile relationships over the years, most notably with Justin Timberlake from 1999—2002. Then, she married her backup dancer, Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, Sean Preston, 19, and Jayden, 18. They divorced in 2007. In 2016, Britney met Sam Asghari on the music video set for "Slumber Party," and they were married in June 2022. In August 2023, Sam filed for divorce. On a June 2 episode of the Trading Secrets podcast with Bachelor alum Jason Tartick, Sam spoke about his divorce from Britney, saying he "wanted her to have a prenup." "I wanted to make sure she's protected, because throughout her life, everybody—I don't know one person that's ever been in her life that didn't take advantage of her," Sam continued. "It's very sad. I wanted to make sure that I'm the person that don't do that." Sam said he doesn't get mad at the fans or the public for their speculation about his relationship with Britney. "Looking from an outside perspective," Sam added. "I see there's an age difference, there's a fame difference, there's this, there's that. But realistically, we met as costars." While it's not clear if Sam's recent podcast appearance triggered Britney's response or which exes she was talking about, someone was toxic, and she doesn't want a taste of that poison paradise anymore.

Sam Asghari insists he had to 'work harder' as an actor because of Britney Spears marriage

Sam Asghari has insisted he had to "work harder to prove himself" after marrying Britney Spears. The 31-year-old model and actor met his ex on the set of her 'Slumber Party' music video in 2016, and they tied the knot six years later, before separating in August 2023 and finalising their divorce in May 2024. Speaking to 'Page Six Radio', he said he "absolutely [had] to work harder to prove myself.' He was also working as a waiter and for his own Asghari Fitness brand, with some casting agents seeing him as a "cheesy trainer". He added: ''Oh, and he's associated with a pop star, which is also cheesy as well.' Or 'can we see him as a character?' There was that line as well." However, Sam acknowledged that there were advantages to being in a high profile romance with the 'Toxic' pop star. He said: 'I can't sit here and lie and say, 'It wasn't good for me'. "When you're in such a public relationship ... it sort of gave me that platform for who I am.' However, he recently rubbished the suggestion that he tried to take advantage of Britney's fame and success. Sam told the 'Trading Secrets' podcast: "I never get mad at the general public or fans or people that are seeing your life from a distance, especially now that I'm not in a relationship for over two years or a year and something. "Looking from an outside perspective, I see there's an age difference, there's a fame difference, there's this, there's that. But realistically, we met as co-stars." Despite this, Sam insists he's not worried about the opinions of fans. He explained: "It's all for me. So it's not really focused on the fans or whoever … My career is always going to be, I'm always going to do things that's going to benefit the fans and people that are watching me. And I want to be a good example. But at the same time, it's because that makes me feel better."

Sam Asghari wanted a prenup before marrying Britney Spears

Sam Asghari wanted to sign a prenuptial agreement before marrying Britney Spears. The 31-year-old actor and Britney, 43, were married between 2022 and 2024, but Sam urged his former spouse to agree a prenup so that she would be financially "protected". Sam - who ultimately signed a prenup before tying the knot - said on the 'Trading Secrets' podcast: "I wanted her to have a prenup. "I wanted to make sure she's protected, because throughout her life, everybody — I don't know one person that's ever been in her life that didn't take advantage of her. So it's very sad. I wanted to make sure that I'm the person that [didn't] do that." Sam also rubbished the suggestion that he tried to take advantage of Britney's fame and success. Sam - who met Britney on the set of her 'Slumber Party' music video back in 2016 - said: "I never get mad at the general public or fans or people that are seeing your life from a distance, especially now that I'm not in a relationship for over two years or a year and something. "Looking from an outside perspective, I see there's an age difference, there's a fame difference, there's this, there's that. But realistically, we met as costars." Despite this, Sam insists he's not worried about the opinions of fans. He explained: "It's all for me. And I want to be a good example. But at the same time, it's because that makes me feel better." Sam actually rejected a lot of lucrative career opportunities because he wanted to protect Britney and their relationship. The actor explained: "I turned down a few modelling things back then. "It was because it was associated with women and I wanted to be respectful. It was a very sensitive time and a very sensitive situation I was dealing with. So I wanted to be very successful and things like that. So that was at that time. Now, it's different."

Sam Asghari steps out with Britney Spears look-alike girlfriend after taking cruel swipe at his marriage to pop star

Britney Spears ' ex-husband Sam Asghari enjoyed an outing with his girlfriend Brooke Irvine on Friday, after recently taking a cruel swipe at his marriage to the pop star. The Iranian-American model, 31, and the blonde real estate agent were spotted grabbing lunch at Erewhon market in Calabasas together. Sam — whose divorce from Spears, 43, was finalized in May 2024 — showed off a new hairstyle, rocking his dark hair in cornrows. He sported a grey t-shirt and blue jeans and had his eyes shielded with a pair of sunglasses. Brooke carried a food container, while he held two water bottles in his hand. She looked hippie chic in a flowing white top, tight blue bell bottom jeans, and white Chanel sandals. Her blonde tresses cascaded down her shoulders. It comes after Sam — who went Instagram official with Irvine in early 2025 — took a swipe at his relationship with the pop princess. He called their union 'Hollywood,' while also saying his four month long relationship with Brooke was 'all about love,' as the pair made their red carpet debut at the grand opening weekend of The Tryst hotel. 'It's all about love. That's what it is,' Asghari told Us Weekly on April 25, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. 'It's not about the industry, it's not about Hollywood,' he continued. 'It's about what really is the most important thing, and that's being present, being in the moment and supporting others that are doing this same thing.' Sam was with the I Did It Again singer from 2016 to 2023. Sam and Britney met on the set of her Slumber Party music video in October 2016 and the following month they sparked romance rumors with the personal trainer posted a pic (which he later deleted) on Instagram. Sam and Brooke made their red carpet debut on Friday in Puerto Vallarta and Sam explained his decision to do that with the outlet. 'It wasn't, "Now is the time," or whatever, but we're here to support a great cause,' he said. 'Love is not about gender, not about race, not about anything. Love doesn't understand any of those things, so that's why I'm always going to be an ally of this [LGBTQ+] community — because they help me believe that and understand that. That's what's really great about this community.' In February, Sam said he felt 'afraid' during Britney's conservatorship. However, Asghari shocked fans — and Spears herself — by filing for divorce 14 months after they finally tied the knot. He opened up about his seven-year romance with Spears during an episode of The Viall Files, calling it a 'big part' of his life. As for Spears' conservatorship, which was terminated in November 2021 after 12 years, Asghari admitted to host Nick Viall that it was 'strange' for him to 'deal with.' Spears was involuntarily placed under a conservatorship by a judge back in 2008 and her father Jamie Spears controlled her estate for its entirety. Asghari said he learned of Britney's unique legal situation right when they started dating in 2016 — but not from the pop star herself. 'That was very strange for me to deal with. I got hit with that at the beginning [of his relationship with Spears],' he told Viall. They married on June 9, 2022, after seven years together, but separated just over a year later on July 20, 2023, before Asghari officially filed for divorce on August 16, 2023; seen in 2019 When asked by Viall if Britney 'explained it' to him, Asghari said that it was someone on Britney's team who made him aware. 'She didn't explain. Somebody called me and said, "Oh, just so you know, this is this and make sure you're obeying by our rules and stuff like that,"' he claimed. Asghari, who immigrated to the United States from Iran at age 12, said he initially feared that Britney was being 'suppressed' and 'controlled.' 'I'm coming from a country where I dealt with this already. I dealt with women being suppressed and being controlled by men their whole life,' he explained. 'So I was like, "Ok, this is weird but, wait a minute, this is America. Something doesn't make sense."' After the phone call with the unnamed member of Britney's team, Asghari said he didn't run to tell the singer right away. 'I really tried to understand it. I tried to understand why [the conservatorship] was ever in place to begin with,' he told Viall. Asghari appeared to suggest that he had little power in changing the situation as the singer's boyfriend. 'You really don't have much to say especially if you're just a boyfriend or someone that's just there [in her life].' He also admitted that he was 'afraid' of losing Britney if he tried to rock the boat. 'I was afraid they were gonna maybe make me not see her and things like that,' he said. Instead, Asghari tried his best to be a support system for Britney, telling Viall: 'You have to be gentle and provide support as much as you can.'
