It should also be noted that the rating of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has also increased from last week. It has jumped from 2.3 to 2.5.
TRP REPORT: For another week, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has topped the TRP list. On Thursday, it was revealed that Asit Kumar Modi's sitcom is at the top of the TRP chart for the third consecutive week. The show stars Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta in the lead among other actors and has been running successfully for over 17 years now.
It should also be noted that the rating of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has also increased from last week. It has jumped from 2.3 to 2.5 this week.
TMKOC is followed by Rupali Ganguly starrer Anupamaa, which managed to jump to the second position this week. Last week, Anupamaa was in the third spot. However, this time, the show surpassed Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and regained its second position. On the other hand, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is now on the third spot.
On the fourth spot of the TRP list is Udne Ki Aasha, starring Kanwar Dhillon and Neha Harsora in the lead. The show has a rating of 2.0. This show is followed by Lakshmi Ka Safar, which is a spin-off of Mangal Lakshmi. Surpassing Laughter Chefs season 2, Lakshmi Ka Safar holds a rating of 1.7.
Interestingly, TMKOC has been topping the TRP charts ever since the rumours of Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta's exit from the show made headlines. It all started after fans noticed that Jethalal and Babita Ji had been missing from the 'Bhootni' plot for a long time. All the members of the Gokuldham society were on vacation in a haunted bungalow. While other characters like Bapu ji, Popatlal, Sodhi and others joined Taarak Mehta and Anjali on this vacation, Jethalal and Babita Ji were missing in action. This left everyone wondering if Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta were planning to quit the show.
However, the show's maker, Asit Kumarr Modi, later issued a statement and clarified that Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta were still a part of his popular sitcom. Explaining why the two actors have been absent from the recent episodes, the maker revealed, 'Lekin kuch nahi hai, sab log hamari team ka part hai. Kuch unke personal reasons the to us time nahi the. To aise koi baat nahi hai." (But there's nothing like that, everyone is part of our team. They were not present at that time due to some personal reasons. So, there's no such issue.)

This Actress Got Pregnant By Her Cousin — Then Found Love Again At 51

Last Updated: Actress Javeria Abbasi stuns fans with romantic photos of her second marriage at 51. Her love story challenges norms and embraces second chances Renowned Pakistani actress Javeria Abbasi is once again in the spotlight after sharing romantic photos with her second husband, Adeel Haider. The couple tied the knot around a year ago, when Javeria was 51 years old. Fans have showered the photos with admiration and support. A Look Back At Her First Marriage Javeria was previously married to her cousin, Shamoon Abbasi, in 1997. Their marriage lasted 13 years, ending in divorce in 2010. They share a daughter, Anjeela, who has followed in her mother's footsteps into the acting profession. Love Finds A Way Again Fourteen years post-divorce, Javeria found love once more with businessman Adeel Haider. In a recent interview, she revealed that her daughter's in-laws even attended the wedding. This also marks Adeel's second marriage. Interestingly, Adeel remarked, 'We have not yet become husband and wife. We are just friends for now." Javeria shared that convincing Adeel to marry was no easy feat. They met at a mutual friend's dinner and bonded over candid conversations, especially around the societal stigma of marrying later in life. Javeria admitted she was initially unaware that Adeel had been previously married, calling it 'embarrassing" in hindsight. Facing Society's Criticism She highlighted how societal expectations can be cruel, especially for women remarrying at an older age. 'Even during my daughter's wedding, people criticised my attire, ignoring my happiness. Later, some questioned my decision to remarry, saying it's an age for religious devotion. I worried how my children would react, but thankfully, my in-laws welcomed me with warmth," she added. Adeel Haider Speaks Out Adeel shared his perspective, admitting he had never heard of Javeria before their meeting. 'I don't watch films, so I googled her later and found out she's an actress," he explained. He also addressed rumours about his faith: 'Our Nikaah was held at my house. People assumed I was Hindu because I applied a bindiya on Javeria's forehead. In reality, it's part of a tradition where we write ' Kul ' while holding the Quran. I am a Muslim," he clarified. Shamoon Abbasi's Marital History Javeria's ex-husband Shamoon Abbasi is a prominent actor and producer. Their marriage ended in 2009. Shamoon Abbasi later married actress Humaima Malik, followed by Javeria Randhawa, and is now reportedly with actress Sherry Shah. Singer-songwriter Justin Bieber's son seems to be treading his father's path. The singer-songwriter's son has officially made his music video debut. On Tuesday, August 5, the singer-songwriter, 31, released the music video for his song 'Yukon' from his album 'SWAG' on his Instagram and X accounts, reports 'People' magazine. The black-and-white video featured special appearances by his wife Hailey Bieber and their son Jack Blues, 11 months, as Bieber sang the tune. As per 'People', the proud dad starts the video off on a boat playing with his son on his lap, before it switches to Jack's legs kicking in the water. Other scenes include Bieber kissing the little one's toes, a close-up of the nearly 1-year-old reaching for the camera, a shot of the family of three sitting together on the back of a boat and a clip of Hailey holding onto her son in the water. This isn't the first time the 'All That Matters' singer has brought his son into his musical endeavors. On July 7, Bieber shared snaps of his son joining him in the music studio. In the photos, Jack was captured standing by a coffee table, which was surrounded by Bieber and his pals, two of whom were playing guitars. Bieber smiled at his son as the tot took in his surroundings, which had been festooned with fairy lights. The 'Baby' singer captioned the post with a series of heart emojis. That sweet post came after Bieber shared a clip of himself playing with his son. In the video, Bieber tickled his Jack as they sat outdoors. The 'Love Yourself' singer appeared in great spirits as he flashed a large grin. The singer and Hailey Bieber married in September 2018. Six years later, in May 2024, the couple renewed their wedding vows in Hawaii and revealed that they were expecting their first child together. Three months later, in August 2024, their son was born. Since then, the proud parents have been sharing small glimpses into life at home with their baby boy. view comments First Published: August 06, 2025, 09:05 IST Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Popular dancer Dhanashree Verma, who is also cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal's ex-wife, is currently in Dubai following a messy divorce. What many may not know is that she has strong ties to Dubai, and the trip is more significant for her than any other vacation. Dhanashree was born and raised in Dubai, where she spent a crucial part of her early life. But why did she move to India? Dhanashree has answered this question in her latest Instagram post. In a video posted on her Instagram page, Dhanashree said, 'I have always been a Dubai kid. I've done my high school here. I studied at Modern High School. But then, yes, I moved back to India to study dentistry. I am also actually a dentist by profession." However, Dhanashree revealed that she left dentistry has the creative part of her personality didn't feel satisfied, and she wanted to do more. Now, Dhanashree is a popular dancer, choreographer and social media influencer. Besides being a social media personality, she was also recently seen performing a dance number in Bhool Chuk Maaf with Rajkummar Rao. Dhanashree Verma is in the news again after her former husband and cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal, made revelations about his divorce on Raj Shamani's podcast. The cricketer broke his silence on the viral T-shirt he wore on the day of their final court hearing. The shirt, which read 'Be Your Own Sugar Daddy," sparked widespread chatter on social media, with many assuming it was a sly dig at his now ex-wife. Appearing on Raj Shamani's podcast, Chahal finally addressed the controversy. 'Meko nahi karna tha drama, I just wanted to give one message and mai ne vo de diya," he said. The comment quickly went viral, leading fans to question what really led to the breakdown of his marriage with Dhanashree. 'Because something happened from the other side, and initially I didn't intend to do anything. But when that happened, I said, now you handle it… I don't care about anyone anymore. I didn't abuse anyone, I just wanted to send a message," Chahal added, suggesting it was a moment of closure more than confrontation. However, Dhanashree seems to be unaffected by Chahal's comments. The dancer is keeping fans up to date with her time in Dubai. Dhanashree has not responded directly to Chahal's statements. However, her recent post, which doesn't address the divorce but speaks of inner growth and reconnection, has been perceived by fans as a graceful way of moving forward.
