'We, in the Palestinian Resistance Committees, as we mourn the martyr commander, Professor and Mujahid Mohammed Faraj Al-Ghoul, commend his life filled with dedication to jihad and resistance, and his service to Islam and the Palestinian people. He was always a voice of truth, defending our people and resistance in all forums, and a role model to be followed,' the statement said. The committees added that, 'Israeli assassinations, escalating crimes, and the fascism of the defeated Zionist government and army will not break the will of our people, nor weaken their resolve. Their strength is rooted in faith, national belonging, and deep attachment to our land and holy sites.' Quds sees systematically increasing demolishment in favor of Judaization
Occupied Quds - Saba: The Quds Governorate reported that the Zionist enemy authorities continue their systematic escalation of demolition and forced displacement policies against the Palestinian people in occupied Quds, as part of a comprehensive settlement plan aimed at Judaizing the city and altering its Arab, Islamic, and Christian character. According to the Palestinian News Agency (Saba) on Tuesday, the so-called "Nature Authority" of the enemy set fire to a residential barracks belonging to citizen Muhammad Hassan al-Hathaleel in the al-Muntar desert, east of the town of al-Sawahra, as part of an attempt to empty the area of its Bedouin residents to serve the settlement annexation project known as "E1". The municipality added that the enemy forced Qudsi Maher al-Salaymeh to self-demolish his home in the Wadi Qaddum neighborhood of the town of Silwan. The home, which spans 140 square meters and houses seven people, is a scene that echoes the daily tragedy of Palestinians in the face of the enemy's brutality. The municipality delivered a new demolition order to citizen Ghaleb Da'na, targeting a salon and cafeteria in the same neighborhood. He was forced to demolish part of his facility about 45 days ago to avoid penalties, as part of the Israeli government's road expansion projects. In a tragic development, the Salaimeh family began emptying their home yesterday morning in preparation for its self-demolition, in an attempt to avoid paying hefty fines imposed on them, despite the fact that the house has been standing for more than 35 years. The Quds Governorate stated that Israeli authorities have demolished more than 630 residential, commercial, and agricultural facilities since October 7, 2023, while the total number of demolitions during the first half of 2025 alone reached approximately 190. This unprecedented escalation is part of a well-thought-out plan aimed at expanding the borders of the Israeli municipality and annexing the surrounding settlement blocs. The governorate warned that these policies serve the occupation project known as "Greater Jerusalem," which seeks to separate the city from its Palestinian surroundings and impose new demographic and geographic realities on the ground. This is achieved by establishing a network of settlement roads to connect settlements, particularly in the area extending east of Quds to the Jordan Valley. This is an attempt to uproot Bedouin communities, most notably the Khan al-Ahmar community. The Quds Governorate reiterates its warning against the intentions of the Israeli occupation authorities to bring the Khan al-Ahmar issue back to the forefront, seeking to completely demolish the community and displace its residents. This is a dangerous step that paves the way for complete control of the eastern part of the city and connecting the Ma'ale Adumim settlement to the rest of the settlements in the West Bank. Several months ago, the governorate authorized the establishment of a new outpost on the hill opposite the Khan al-Ahmar community, which heralds renewed settler intentions to seize the community and displace its residents. The Quds Governorate called on the international community, human rights organizations, and humanitarian organizations to assume their legal and moral responsibilities in halting the policies of demolition and forced displacement, which constitute war crimes under international law. South African official: "Israel" defies Intel courts as Gaza crisis deepens
The Hague – Saba: South Africa's ambassador to the Netherlands Vusi Madonsela on Tuesday condemned Israel's continued actions that reinforce occupation and amount to genocide in the Gaza Strip, despite advisory opinions and provisional measures issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) compelling Tel Aviv to abide by international laws designed to protect human rights. In a press interview, Madonsela stated that the situation in Gaza has significantly worsened since South Africa filed its genocide case against 'Israel" at the ICJ. He noted that "Israel" has shown no willingness to comply with the Court's provisional measures, according to the official Palestinian news agency. 'We believe South Africa's decision to approach the International Court of Justice was the right one. The situation at the time was grave, but it has since deteriorated even further. This reinforces the justification for seeking immediate provisional measures in the first place,' he said. The ambassador emphasized that "Israel" has disregarded the ICJ's advisory opinion calling for its full withdrawal from the occupied territories within one year. 'We see no indication that Israel is preparing to comply,' he added. Madonsela also criticized "Israel" for turning humanitarian aid distribution into a 'deadly trap,' in clear defiance of the Court's measures. 'The mechanisms Israel has adopted for aid distribution are wholly inconsistent with the provisional measures declared by the Court last year,' he said. Commenting on Israel's proposal to turn Rafah, in southern Gaza, into a so-called 'humanitarian city' where displaced Palestinians are forced to remain, Madonsela said: 'What is being labeled as a humanitarian camp is, in our view, nothing more than a detention facility. It starkly contradicts the advisory opinion opposing the occupation.' Since October 7, 2023, with U.S. and European backing, Israeli forces have continued committing acts of genocide in Gaza. As of today, these attacks have killed 58,479 Palestinian civilians, the majority of them children and women, and left 139,355 others wounded, according to non-final figures. Thousands more remain trapped under the rubble or in areas unreachable by rescue teams. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
