Daisy Shah has denied reports of her joining Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan. 'I am not doing Bigg Boss. Probably never will,' she wrote on Instagram.
As excitement brews around Bigg Boss 19, the internet has been buzzing with speculation about which celebrities might enter the infamous house this season. One name that recently found itself in the eye of the rumour storm was actress Daisy Shah, who has now come forward to put an end to all the speculation.
Daisy, best known for her roles in Bollywood blockbusters like Jai Ho and Race 3, took to her Instagram stories on Wednesday, July 16, to issue a clear and unambiguous statement. 'Putting an end to all the rumours. I am not doing Bigg Boss. Probably never will. Dhanyawad," she wrote, adding a folded hands emoji to underline her gratitude and finality.
The clarification came amidst growing chatter about the reality show's highly anticipated return. Traditionally aired in the latter half of the year, Bigg Boss is reportedly set for an early launch this time, possibly in July. If true, this would mark a significant shift from its usual September-October schedule and could lead to a longer-than-usual runtime, extending well into January 2026. Speculation suggests it might become one of the longest seasons ever, spanning up to six months.
Adding fuel to the fire, several entertainment portals and social media accounts have been circulating a list of rumoured contestants. Besides Daisy, the names being floated include Lataa Saberwal, Apoorva Mukhija, Purav Jha, Neel Motwani, Arhan Ansari, Shashank Vyas, Khushi Dubey, Sharad Malhotra, Moon Banerjee, and TV couple Ram Kapoor and Gautami Kapoor.
In addition to the contestant rumours, there's also speculation that this season might be helmed not just by Salman Khan, but also by Karan Johar and Farah Khan, who may step in as guest hosts during Salman's absence. However, none of these developments have been confirmed by the makers of the show yet.
While fans await official announcements, Daisy Shah's statement adds some clarity to the swirling reports. One thing is for sure—she won't be seen inside the Bigg Boss house anytime soon, if ever.

Himesh Reshammiya is having a moment again — and honestly, it's glorious

I wouldn't really call myself a Himesh Reshammiya fan. I don't listen to his music every day or follow his every move. But I do like his songs. Not necessarily for their musical brilliance or the meme-gold they have become over the years, but for the sheer wave of nostalgia they evoke. There was a time when Himesh was everywhere. I was in college then, and every time I'd visit home, a small town where trends hit hard, his voice echoed from every speaker. Auto drivers played him on loop. College fest DJs had his songs on rote. Clubs, however questionable their taste, couldn't get enough of him. And of course, the boys all wore Himesh-style caps — in fact, it was practically a uniform. Whether you thought he was cringe or not, there was no denying that Himesh was the moment back then. So when I saw the Cap Mania Tour announcement, my first reaction was — wait… people really want to go to a Himesh Reshammiya concert still in 2025? I mean, sure, nostalgia is powerful, but is anyone still listening to him these days? The answer was a resounding yes. His Mumbai show sold out. Then came the Delhi date. I was excited, but sceptical still. Would anyone I know actually want to go? To my surprise (and relief), a few friends were equally hyped. I bought the tickets — yes, despite the side-eyes and judgement from people who couldn't believe I was paying real money to watch Himesh Reshammiya live. But you know what? I really wanted to hear Tandoori nights in a stadium packed with fans. And that Delhi show? Sold out, too. In fact, the demand was so overwhelming, he had to add another date. It was clear that people weren't just interested, they were excited. They wanted to see him. The show opened with a bang. Or more accurately, with a floating, glittery red cap with the iconic HR initials. And out came Himesh, in full HR glory. Shades on. Overcoat and cap in place. He hadn't sung a word yet, and the crowd was already losing its mind. All these people cheering for a man who has been memefied to the moon and back? Wild, if you ask me. He kicked things off with his iconic Tera suroor, backed by an army of background dancers and full-on Bollywood drama. What followed was a hit parade of Kehne ko saath apne, Yaad sataye teri, and Tere naam. Songs that, for many, soundtracked college heartbreaks and long-distance crushes. And he leaned into that heartbreak hard. After almost every song, he'd pause and ask the audience to remember that person, the one who broke their heart or ghosted them. He wasn't just singing songs; he was building an emotional arc. Making you feel like your personal sob story had a soundtrack and that soundtrack was Himesh himself. After a string of sad songs, he casually switched it up and said, 'Let's turn this into a club!' And just like that, the vibe flipped. He jumped into Hookah bar and then Tandoori nights, and the energy in the stadium exploded. It was theatrical, over-the-top, and so much fun. What struck me the most was how unapologetically himself he was. He talked about the memes, the cap, the criticism. He even asked the crowd, 'Should I sing from my nose or throat?', a cheeky nod to the jabs at his nasal voice. Back in the day, people tore him apart for it. But here he was, years later, owning it. That's the thing about Himesh. He became a joke for many, but instead of running from it, he embraced it. The cap, the shades, the theatrics — he turned every piece of mockery into branding. Let's be honest — he was never 'classy'; he wasn't the critics' favourite; he wasn't conventionally cool. But he didn't need to be. Himesh carved out his own lane, and put his unapologetic stamp on it. If there's one thing to learn from him, it's this: Embrace the cringe. The mess, the ridicule, the weird stuff. Own it so hard that people forget why they laughed in the first place. Because when I was standing in that stadium, surrounded by 14,000 people singing along, chanting his name, and screaming for more — there was no shame, no cringe. Just joy and nostalgia. Just Himesh. And that's kind of beautiful, isn't it?

Fans melt over Darnell Nurse's Wife's wedding kiss post while the Edmonton Oilers might be planning his exit

(Image Source - Getty Images) Darnell Nurse is in the limelight for both a heartwarming occasion and some trade talks. His wife, Mikayla Nurse, recently shared a beautiful Instagram post featuring a kiss between them at the wedding of ex-Oilers teammate Warren Foegele. The caption, "It's the season of love [heart emoji]," truly warmed the hearts of fans. Still, behind this lovely moment, the Oilers may be thinking about a major move concerning Nurse's future with the team. Darnell Nurse and Mikayla Nurse share heartfelt the wedding celebration Mikayla Nurse uploaded a photo on Instagram that quickly became a hit with fans. The picture featured her and Darnell sharing a loving kiss during the wedding festivities of Warren Foegele, a former Oilers forward who was traded to the Carolina Hurricanes in 2021 for left-winger Warren Foegele. The wedding united several Oilers players, both former and current, emphasizing the strong community within the team. Mikayla's caption, "It's the season of love [heart emoji]," perfectly summed up the joyous occasion, and fans couldn't get enough of the couple's affection. This intimate moment provided a look into Nurse's life beyond the rink, revealing that he's not only a hockey star but also a devoted husband and father. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No annual fees for life UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo The Nurses welcomed their first child, a son named Aiden, on May 24, 2025, only hours after the Oilers were eliminated from the playoffs. Edmonton Oilers quietly explore trade options involving Darnell Nurse during offseason As fans were melting over the wedding kiss, a different narrative was playing out behind the scenes. On his "32 Thoughts" podcast, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, known as the NHL's top insider, dropped a major revelation. He disclosed that the Edmonton Oilers had contacted several players with no-trade clauses, including Darnell Nurse, to assess their willingness to waive them. Friedman noted, "I think basically Edmonton went to a check with all their guys who had no trade clauses, who they would want to move and say, 'Okay, how many of you are willing to go places?' . .. But, you know, Nurse, I don't think he wants to go anywhere". This recent episode brought to light an intriguing revelation: it's the first reliable sign that the Oilers might be contemplating a trade for Nurse, an important player on their defense line. Friedman didn't state that the team specifically requested Nurse to waive his clause, but the mere act of checking in indicates they're considering their options. Darnell Nurse's 2024-25 season proves he's still a key contributor for the Edmonton Oilers To really understand why Nurse's potential trade is such a big deal, we should look at his path with the Oilers. He was drafted seventh overall in the 2013 NHL Draft and has been a foundational player in the team's defense for over ten years. Across 716 career games—all with Edmonton—he's tallied 300 points, which includes 81 goals and 219 assists. His 2024-25 season was among his best, with 33 points (5 goals, 28 assists) in 76 games, a plus-11 rating, 188 shots on goal, and 72 penalty minutes, averaging 22:22 of ice time per game. Still, his contract worth $9.25 million per year (AAV), which he signed back in 2021 and lasts until the 2029-30 season, has stirred up some discussion. The eight-year deal totaling $74 million was signed by former general manager Ken Holland, who is now with the Los Angeles Kings, and it comes with a full no-movement clause that transitions to a no-trade clause during the last three years. Nurse's $9.25 million AAV is a significant amount, and moving him might allow them to enhance the roster for a shot at the Stanley Cup. Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. According to Collider, F1 has now grossed a total of USD 460 million worldwide with USD 155 million domestically and another USD 307 million from overseas markets. With such big numbers, the film has now surpassed the overall collection of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's A Star is Born, Matt Damon's The Bourne Ultimatum and Keanu Reeves' John Wick: Chapter 4, which concluded its global run with USD 447 million. The film follows the story of Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver who makes a comeback to the sport. He joins the fictional APXGP team as a mentor to a young, promising driver, Joshua Pearce. The film explores themes of legacy, mentorship and the intense world of Formula One racing, both on and off the track. F1 is now also Apple's highest-grossing film to date, leaving behind Killers of the Flower Moon (USD 158m), Napoleon (USD 221m) and Argylle (USD 96m). The strong word of mouth from the audience has resulted positively for the makers of F1 despite tough competition with films like Scarlett Johansson's Jurassic Park: Rebirth and David Corenswet's Superman. In the coming week, the competition is expected to get more intense with Pedro Pascal's The Fantastic Four: First Steps set to be released in theatres on July 25. Looking at the film's massive collection, speculations around the F1 sequel are surfacing online. However, an official announcement from the makers is still awaited.
