Marcus Rashford returns to Man Utd after Aston Villa decline option to buy
Rashford will depart the club alongside Marco Asensio and Axel Disasi, who also joined Unai Emery's side on loan in February and helped them to the quarter-finals of the Champions League as well as an FA Cup semi-final while qualifying for the Europa League next season.
Rashford fell out of favour in Manchester under Ruben Amorim but it remains to be seen where his future lies, with the forward reportedly keen on a move to Barcelona.
Asensio scored vital goals both domestically and in Europe, including three in the two legs of the Champions League win over Club Brugge, but Villa also confirmed he will go back to Paris St Germain. Disasi made 10 appearances after his temporary move from Chelsea.
Goalkeeper Robin Olsen and Kortney Hause will also leave the club following the expiry of their respective contracts.

Central midfield is set to be boosted, with both Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard expected to arrive, while the search for a new striker continues. Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko remain the two most likely options up front, although deals are proving tricky to get over the line. Eberchi Eze has also emerged as a target for Arsenal, while they remain in search of a new winger as well. The window is set to explode for Russell Martin and Kevin Thelwell with a host of deals inching forward Rangers have snapped up Max Aarons as the first signing for the Russell Martin era at - but there is plenty of work still to be done. Lyall Cameron has joined the Rangers squad having agreed a pre-contract move from Dundee when Philippe Clement was in the hot seat but with the American revolution in motion with sporting director Kevin Thelwell working on several outgoing and incoming stars. The crucial Champions League qualifiers against Panathinaikos is just around the corner and fans are desperate to see some movement in the market. So who looks to be coming in, and who is heading out? The mega money window is just beginning at Ibrox - and Record Sport has all the latest. Owen Beck Rangers are keen to land Owen Beck - but a deal could depend on two factors. Robin Propper Robin Propper has been offered a three-year deal to make the return to FC Twente - just 12 months after his move to Ibrox. However, the defender has reportedly put the move on hold until he discovers whether new boss Martin sees him as part of his plans at his new-look Rangers. Ben Davies Rangers have held talks with Birmingham City over the prospect of Ben Davies joining making his loan move from last season permanent. But, so far he has reported for pre-season training while Russell Martin weighs up his defensive options. Samuel Ballet Rangers have reportedly held "concrete talks" with Como over winger Samuel Ballet. A new wide man is on the Ibrox shopping list following the departure of Vaclav Cerny at the end of last season with QPR winning the race for target Kwame Poku. And Blick Sports claims that Rangers officials have been holding talks with the Serie A side over a move for the 24-year-old who spent last season on loan at FC Zurich. Record Sport understands Rangers are still waiting for Lille to make an acceptable offer for Hamza Igamane. The Ligue 1 outfit are expected to step up their interest in the coming days. They are preparing an initial bid of between £13 to £15 million for the Moroccan international, with a number of add-ons built in. Lille have already agreed personal terms with Igamane's camp. Cyriel Dessers New owners 49ers Enterprises are holding out for £5million for striker Cyriel Dessers from Greek side AEK. AEK boss Marko Nikolic, however, has insisted a deal is not imminent stating: "In attack we are good with Zini, Pierrot, Martial and even Eliasson. "We are working on the left-back, but we have time. Full-backs on the market are always a difficult matter. It is not a big issue, we are also looking for a player for another position." Mohamed Diomande Turkish giants Besiktas have reportedly launched a big money offer for Mohamed Diomande - with Everton also monitoring the 23-year-old. A bid worth between €10-12 million (£8.6-10.2million) has been lodged, according to reports in Turkey, by Besiktas with "talks between the two parties are ongoing." Joe Rothwell Joe Rothwell is set to reunite with Russell Martin at Rangers after the expiry of his Bournemouth contract. The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Leeds United and is expected to become the second signing of the summer at Ibrox. Conor Coady The Light Blues are expected to get the go-ahead from Leicester City over the next 24 to 48 hours to sign the former England international. Rangers are ready to offer the 32-year-old a long term deal to get him to Ibrox with sporting director Kevin Thelwell keen on a deal for the experienced star he signed for Wolves and Everton. Dor Turgeman Rangers are working on a deal for the Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Dor Turgeman - with reports in Israel suggesting he is keen on the move. However, it is claimed that the Premiership side will look to sell either Igamane or Dessers before sealing a £5million deal. Nicolas Raskin The midfielder is attracting interest from Wolves - but Rangers have been warned that now is not the right time to cash in on the midfielder. Former Ibrox striker Andy Little told STV: 'I know it's a business, and you have to try and cash in on players at the right time, and I think both sides of the Old Firm are looking to do that, Celtic have certainly done it better than Rangers. 'That is the business model now, however, you can't go losing your best players, especially considering there are so few ready to step into that position this season. 'So I don't think they should (consider selling), it would need to be serious money to let him go.'

The USA international has reported back at Lennoxtown for pre-season. However, it's claimed that he has yet to train with Brendan Rodgers' first team. The Daily Record reports that there are suggestions that the centre-back has undergone surgery during the summer, albeit they play down the validity of those claims. The former Tottenham defender has been a key player for the Scottish Premiership champions in recent years. However, the club has had a job on its hands to try and manage his unfortunate injury record to date. Celtic play a pre-season friendly against Queen's Park on Friday night, before trips to Cork and the Algarve in the coming weeks.
