Mumtaz reflects on her first and only film with Amitabh Bachchan, says ‘he came from a wealthy family'- Read more
Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan is often seen as the man who went from nothing to everything—a struggler who made it big with sheer hard work. But actress Mumtaz , who starred with him in just one film, has a different opinion. In a recent interview with Radio Nasha, Mumtaz shared that she didn't see any real struggle in Amitabh's early days. 'See, I had to drop out of school in fourth grade, and I started working as an extra in films. I was 7 years old and we used to get Rs 500 for a role, out of which Rs 100 I had to give to person who got us the job, and the rest I used to give to my mother. On the other hand, Amitabh ji was a highly educated and classy person. His father was a known figure, and they had a bungalow and a nice life, so I don't understand why he needed to become an actor,' she said. ' Bandhe Haath ' – their one and only film Mumtaz worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the 1973 film 'Bandhe Haath', directed by OP Goyle. It was the only time the two actors appeared on screen together. Though the film isn't widely remembered today, it holds a special place for Mumtaz as it gave her the chance to work with someone she admired. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trade Bitcoin & Ethereum – No Wallet Needed! That film made him a star overnight and earned him the 'angry young man' title. From then on, he went on to give back-to-back hits like 'Sholay' (1975), 'Deewaar' (1975), 'Amar Akbar Anthony' (1977), and 'Don' (1978). Australia Man Quits Carpentry To Record Fart Videos. Now Makes Rs 20 Lakh A Year
Last Updated: Nath Wyld estimates that fart videos alone account for around 20 per cent of his total annual earnings which surpass Rs 1.1 crore. An Australian man who once worked as a carpenter and weekend stripper is now making a living by creating fart videos. Nath Wyld used to work a regular carpentry job during the week and spent his weekends as a topless waiter and stripper at a club called Magic Men. Over time, his popularity grew, especially on Instagram and by 2017, he was being encouraged by fans to start an OnlyFans account. 'At the start it was very tame, just photos of me semi-naked and short videos of me posing – just a little bit raunchier than what you could post on Instagram," he said as quoted by The Metro. Things changed when he started offering more explicit content. He says he earned around £3,280 (approximately Rs 3.8 lakh) in his first month. As demand continued, he eventually left carpentry for content creation full-time. 'Not having to work eight hours a day and commute was a huge bonus – now I have the freedom to work from home," Wyld said. His most unexpected breakthrough came a couple of years into his OnlyFans journey when fans began requesting fart videos. Initially, he turned them down. 'I wasn't very keen to do it so I left it and said no," he said. But after more and more requests came in, he decided to give it a try. That first video was filmed in his bedroom and offered as a pay-per-view. The reaction surprised him. 'I was blown away (no pun intended) by the demand," he said. Since then, fart videos have become a regular part of his income. He even made £2,050 (Rs 2.3 lakh) from one single fart video. Wyld now makes about £1,540 (around Rs 90,000) each month just from this niche content. He estimates that fart videos alone account for around 20 per cent of his total annual earnings which surpass £101,000 (Rs 1.17 Crore). For custom videos, clients typically request specific outfits, camera angles or whether they should speak or stay silent. 'Some want me to talk to them, saying things like, 'Wish you were here to smell this' or 'This one's for you.' Others want complete silence, he explained. Made in Rs 45 crore, lead actress wore 20 kg of real gold in THIS film, 50 guards used to protect her, jewellery was designed by..., the film is... Released in 2008, Jodhaa Akbar starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alongside Hrithik Roshan, Sonu Sood, Nikitin Dheer, and others. The film became one of the biggest blockbuster of the decade and the chemistry between Aishwarya and Hrithik garnered immense praise. Apart from this, the historical drama captivated audiences with its regally designed costumes worn by Aishwarya. From silk sarees to pure ornate lehengas, the exquisite pieces worn by her in the film created quite a stir on the internet. However, the major thing that came as a shocker was that the former Miss World wore a staggering 200 kg of jewellery pieces in the film. These exquisite pearls, ornaments and other luxurious metals were crafted with the support of 70 artisans. On the other hand, to ensure the safety of the jewellery, 50 guards were employed. Aishwarya Rai looked ethereal in every frame of the film. The actress wore all kinds of different jewelleries, ranging from polki necklaces, maang teeka, to Haathphool and glass bangles. Another intriguing detail to this historic tale is that Aishwarya discussed her own wedding attire with designer Neeta Lulla while donning her Jodhaa persona. She wanted to let go of movie's opulent costume, and opted for a stunning silk Kanjeevaram saree that evoked a strong sense of connection to her cultural roots. Helmed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Jodhaa Akbar became the third-highest grossing film of the year. The film garnered widespread appeal, and also earned two awards: Best Choreography for the song Azeem O Shaan Shahenshah and Best Costume Design- all thanks to Neeta Lulla's impressive work.
