Coronation Street's Vicky Myers appears in Classic Emmerdale
Vicky Myers who plays DS Lisa Swain on Corrie has amassed a legion of fans since first appearing on the show in 2021.
So it was no wonder that people were quick to take to social media to share their delight at spotting a younger Vicky on a rival soap.
An episode of Classic Emmerdale that aired earlier this week featured Vicky as a receptionist at Val Lamberts' daughter's wedding.

The episode was first broadcast in February 2007.
'Unexpected legend in the Dales,' one person tweeted.
Another said: 'If you were watching Classic Emmerdale today, you might have spotted a familiar face…a little appearance from @VixMyers in 2007.'
'Oh wow Vicky looks so young there,' another added.
'Omg look who shows up when I was watching Classic Emmerdale – and still as stunning as ever,' another commented.
Classic Emmerdale is broadcast on ITV3 from 1.25pm on weekdays.
Emmerdale isn't the only show that Vicky has starred in before - she also had a significant part in Coronation Street before becoming DS Swain.
In 1998 Vicky played a nurse at Weatherfield General during the tragic demise of Des Barnes.
She had two more roles as an extra before landing the part of DS Swain.

Chris Hughes causes a stir with topless photo in bed with JoJo Siwa
Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa have caused quite a stir with their latest selfie. The Celebrity Big Brother co-stars have only grown closer upon leaving the ITV abode, having pretty much confirmed that they are more than friends, whether it be with their cosy Insta pics or JoJo's declarations on stage at her gigs. But for those who were still in doubt about the nature of their relationship, it looks like Chris has made it crystal clear where they stand. Taking to Snapchat this weekend, the 32-year-old Love Islander uploaded a snap of JoJo, 22, sleeping on his bare chest. The Dance Moms alum rested her hand on his body while snuggled up into his side, with Chris planting a sweet kiss on her head. 'Sleepinnn beauty', he added as a caption. Naturally, it didn't take long for the selfie to circulate, with fans on X stunned at the bold and unexpected PDA. 'Anyone doubting Chris and JoJo's relationship after this today is kidding themselves', joked @slinehan1. 'I'm litrally not ok after seeing this', added @Cat_J_Parry upon seeing the pic. 'They just TOO cute!! [sic]' 'Way too invested in JoJo & Chris and honestly I'm sound with it. Love their love', wrote @SophieScribbles. @demilea_c also laughed: 'Never did I think I'd see Chris Hughes from Love Island posting pictures in bed with JoJo Siwa from dance moms. what a surreal couple of months it's been'. 'I'm here for it though! As surprising as it is, they make a lovely couple and I'm OBSESSED!', replied @emmiestones. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The surprise post comes after JoJo shared an insight into her family's views on the romance, appearing this morning on Sunday Brunch. JoJo told the Channel 4 show: 'She (her mother) does love him. My parents think the absolute world of him, and him and my dad are like best friends. 'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. 'Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy.' 'It feels like we're a family,' she added. 'It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do.' On whether the American star has plans to stay in the UK, she said: 'I think there will definitely be a lot more time spent here, and I think from him as well, a lot more time spent over there, but we both have families, you know, on either end.' JoJo, who came third in CBB, while Chris finished sixth, was also asked about her time on the reality programme. On deciding to sign up for the second showbiz edition since ITV's reboot, she explained: 'I didn't even question a yes or no. I knew it wasn't even a question. It was an immediate yes. 'I think, for me, growing up on reality TV, it almost feels like a little bit of home to me, and it just feels like it's just fun. 'And right before I went in, I told my mum, I was like, 'I think this is gonna be the best thing I've ever done.' And she's like, 'What do you mean?' And I was like, 'I don't know, something tells me, like for my personal, like for my life, it feels like it's gonna be the best thing I've ever done,' and by a landslide, it has been. 'Being on Big Brother, you're captured 24/7, so for people to just get to see the real me was something that I wasn't sure how to share; essentially on my own, I guess I wasn't brave enough to share it.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video As for Chris, when quizzed recently on his relationship status, he simply declared that he is 'happy.' More Trending The sports presenter, who has previously dated Olivia Attwood and Jesy Nelson, was also asked about their blossoming connection by Access Hollywood presenters Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover last month. 'I would struggle to describe it,' he admitted. If you want adjectives, I'd go for…', at which point he began to stutter and became uncomfortable before laughing it off. 'Oh… why am I speechless? What is going on? God,' Chris smiled. Got a story? JoJo Siwa signs up to reality show as she secretly films in the UK after reuniting with CBB star Chris Hughes
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHE was the standout star of this year's Celebrity Big Brother thanks to her surprising romance with a housemate. Now JoJo Siwa, who started a relationship with Chris Hughes while she was on the ITV show, is about to compete on the Great British Bake Off. A TV insider said: "This is a bit of a coup for the Bake Off because Jojo is currently one of the most talked about young stars on TV right now. "She's barely had time to catch her breath, leaving CBB last month amid huge media attention and heading straight into another huge show this month. "It's also a fantastic gig for her because although she already has a fanbase over here, the cookery contest also introduces her to a wider British audience. "Plus she got plenty of experience of cooking in front of the cameras while she was on Celebrity Big brother, though this time she won't have hunky Chris to distract her." Jojo actually became famous for her dancing/baking Tiktoks on the social media site, though they're unlikely to help her much when she's doing it for real. The celebrity version of the Bake Off, whose participants have yet to be confirmed by C4, is being made just before filming of the "civilian" version. Jojo might end up wishing she was back in the house with Mickey Rorrke... The show kicks off this summer with Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond returning to host as well as Paul Hollywood coming back to give the celebs some serious scrutiny in the tent. Channel 4 star Prue Leith has stepped back from all GBBO specials, with cooking expert, and pal, Caroline Waldegrave filling her shoes. Last year, The Sun revealed how Prue had made the decision to step back from the Great British Bake Off specials and focus on the regular series. Channel 4 previously confirmed Prue's close friend Caroline would be taking over her role. Caroline, 72, is a former managing director of Leiths School of Food & Wine, which she bought from Prue in the mid-90s. Married to former Tory politician William Waldegrave, Lady Caroline has also co-written several successful cookery books.
