35 jersey while playing. But now as he steps into a new team, he has decided to make some changes, and along with it, his jersey number. He used to use the No. 7 jersey when he was with the Brooklyn Nets for four years, and now as he joins the Rockets, he will once again use the No. 7 jersey.

7 jersey number instead of No. 35, even though both were available. Until now, in his career, KD has used the No. 35 jersey while he was with the Seattle SuperSonics, now known as the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Golden State Warriors, and the Phoenix Suns.
He only wore the No. 7 jersey for the Brooklyn Nets, when he chose the new number to represent a clean slate. Although he went back to No. 35 when he joined the Suns, it looks like he is ready to wipe the slate clean once more and go with lucky number 7.
Previously, 20-year-old Cam Whitmore, who has been traded to the Washington Wizards, wore the No. 7 jersey for the Rockets. But with him gone, jersey No. 7 is open for the taking and Durant has decided to snatch it up for himself.

has now officially made the transition from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets. While news of the trade was made public long ago, things were officially confirmed after the league's new year started on Sunday, June 6.
Alongside the Suns and the Rockets, five other teams - the Atlanta Hawks, the Brooklyn Nets, the Golden State Warriors, the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Los Angeles Lakers are part of this massive deal involving 13 players and several other future draft picks.
Durant penned a heartfelt letter after the news was confirmed officially, writing:
"My time in Phoenix has come to an end. All these stops along the journey have really impacted me in a positive way.
Remember it's a world behind the scenes, and those who make things work in that space, work tirelessly to make our lives easier as players."
