Here's your round-up of all the latest Swansea City news for Tuesday. May 13.
Bid for midfielder rejected
Swansea City had seen a bid knocked back by Lincoln City for midfielder Ethan Erhahon, WalesOnline understands.
The Swans are keen on strengthening their midfield options this summer and had initially identified the 24-year-old as a possible recruit.
The value of their bid isn't yet known, but reports elsewhere have suggested it could be in the region of £600,000. Sign up to the Swansea City WhatsApp service to get breaking news and top stories sent to your phone
In any case, it's understood Lincoln's valuation of the the Scotland under-21 international is seemingly beyond what Swansea are willing to pay, with several other clubs also believed to be taking an interest.
It seems there was a reluctance among Swans chiefs to get involved in what they felt could be a potential bidding war, and the club are understood to have already dropped out of the race for his signature.

Erhahon was a regular for the Imps in League One last season, racking up 31 appearances, and his exploits have clearly caught attention from elsewhere.
Blackburn Rovers, Derby County, Oxford United and Millwall are all among the other clubs linked, along with Preston North End and League One side Plymouth Argyle.
Hull not in for Yates
Hull City are not currently interested in a move for Swansea City strike Jerry Yates.
That's according to our colleagues at Hull Live, who claim that sources inside the MKM Stadium have indicated the forward is not currently an option being considered this summer.
Reports elsewhere had suggested that the Tigers were among a clutch of clubs chasing the 28-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Championship rivals Derby County.
Yates netted 10 goals to help the Rams stave off relegation to League One, but his future now appears uncertain.
WalesOnline understands a decision over his future at the club hasn't yet been made, but there has already been a suggestion they might well be willing to listen to offers as they bid to free up funds for Alan Sheehan's first full campaign in charge.
A return to Derby hasn't yet been ruled out, although again it's not quite clear whether he would be of interest to current boss John Eustace, having been a big favourite with predecessor Paul Warne.
Queens Park Rangers and Blackburn Rovers are the other clubs to have been linked recently, while a move to the MLS has also been touted as a possible option.
O'Dea talks 'at advanced stage'
Swansea City have reportedly moved closer to striking an agreement with Cetic coach Darren O'Dea.
Alan Sheehan has identified the Celtic pathways manager as the ideal candidate to take over as his number two ahead of the new season, and he now seems likely to take the post ahead of the summer.
According to Scottish journalist Anthony Joseph, talks between the two camps are now at an 'advanced stage'. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here
Commenting on O'Dea's potential exit last week, first team boss Brendan Rodgers said: "I spoke to Darren yesterday on that.

"He came to see me and get my thoughts on what that would be, what it would look like.
"Obviously, I know Swansea as a club and a city better than most.
"So, yes, I think that there may well be a possibility of him to go as a coach. I think in his heart, he still sees himself as that.
"Probably the role he's in now is probably only do-able at a club like Celtic. But I think his heart is in coaching and maybe the possibility to manage later on."

"So, yes, he just asked my opinion on it. And, yes, so we'll see what happens on that."

Russell Martin is the PERFECT fit to be Rangers boss insists Ibrox sporting director Kevin Thelwell
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) KEVIN THELWELL insists Russell Martin is the PERFECT Rangers boss. The Ibrox sporting director played a major part in the appointment of the 39-year-old. Sign up for the Rangers newsletter Sign up 3 Kevin Thelwell and Russell Martin will hope to work together for a long time at Rangers Credit: Willie Vass The former Everton recruitment chief held a series of talks with Martin and firmly believes he's ideally suited to the job. Thelwell said: 'Through a very stringent and very thorough process, it was clear right from the very start to all of us that Russell was the outstanding candidate and we're absolutely delighted that he's decided to join us. 'He's had a strong career now, over 250 games, both as a manager and as a head coach. 'We can all see over the course of that journey, he's sharpened his approach, not only from a technical perspective and a tactical perspective, but also from a personal perspective. 'I'm delighted that he's going to join us. 'I'm very excited to see what he's going to bring to Rangers Football Club and the team and very much looking forward to working with him going forward. 'We wanted to use the time well and make sure we made as strong of a decision as we possibly could do. 'I think it was the right decision to do that. 'We appreciate there's now pre-season on the horizon and also European games coming thick and fast. 'But we think that by using that time we got exactly the right candidate that's the perfect fit for Rangers Football Club. Rangers fans react as 49ers takeover completed 'From my perspective, I've seen Russell's team play for many years and in particular if I look back at that Championship season that's just been referenced and also the Premier League season, there's a lot to be proud of there and there's a lot that fits Rangers Football Club going forwards. 'Russell's explained quite clearly about what we think Rangers Football Club needs to be in those games. 'We need to be dominating in all moments, all of those key moments of the game. 'When we've got it, when we haven't got it and then the transition bits in between. 'I'm delighted that we were able to have those conversations, delighted that you made it slightly easier for me with the negotiations and also very, very pleased that you're sat next to me now and getting ready to work.' Thelwell only started work officially on Monday but plans to have a close working relationship with Martin over signings. He added: 'Put very simply, the way in which we will be organised is we've got a head coach and we've got a sporting director. 'Head coaches are responsible for the most important bit, preparation of the team, performance of the team, fundamentally the results. 3 'My role is to try and make sure that all the support services that sit around Russell are as strong as they possibly can be to give us the best chance of winning. 'When we talk about recruitment, clearly it's going to be a collaborative approach. 'I've never been in this role ever where I've signed a player for the first team that hasn't been supported by the head coach or the manager. 'So we'll talk a lot about how we want to play. 'We'll talk a lot about what profiles we think we need and what positions we think we need. And then between Russell and I and the recruitment team, we'll sit down and identify players that we think can make us better very quickly. 'And then between us, we'll decide about what we do next from that point of perspective. 'That's generally how I've worked and generally how we've discussed how it's going to work. And for me, that's probably been a good way of working so that we've got some clarity. 'But then also, it's understood it's a collaborative approach where we work together to get the best outcome.' 3 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Despite his role as a No 2 after hanging up his playing boots, Keane has never managed in England. Keane, 44, impressed owner Steve Gibson during his short stint at the Riverside Stadium six years ago. The Republic of Ireland and Tottenham legend is coming off a title-winning season with Hungarian side Ferencvaros. New Rangers boss Russell Martin's chances of league success and beating Celtic rated as bookies reveal odds
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) RUSSELL MARTIN stopped short of promising to win trophies in his first season as Rangers boss. But he is adamant he has the tools to ensure the Light Blues WILL be seriously challenging Celtic when it comes to silverware - and one bookie tends to agree. 1 Russell Martin will be the new man in the Rangers dugout next season Credit: Willie Vass Martin was confirmed as the new Rangers head coach this morning and unveiled at a press conference with sporting director Kevin Thelwell and chief executive Patrick Stewart by his side. Thelwell described Martin as the perfect appointment and has already outlined the five key things that made him the outstanding candidate for the Gers hierarchy. Martin told the media at his introductory press conference that he believes he CAN turn Rangers into trophy winners this season. It's just a question of whether he will or not, given the Hoops' dominance in domestic competitions this season. William Hill have attempted to answer that question by providing odds on Rangers winning the league in Martin's first season. The bookmaker has also priced up how likely the 39-year-old is to win all four league games against Celtic in the coming year. They also rated Gers' chances of going unbeaten at home, going unbeaten in the league as a whole and how likely they are to score in all 38 Premiership games. Celtic remain the favourites to win the title at 4/11 ON. But Rangers are now as short as 2/1 to claim the trophy. William Hill clearly fancy Martin's ability to make Rangers a force at home again, a far cry from their poor form at Ibrox under Barry Ferguson and latterly under Philippe Clement. Rangers fans react as 49ers takeover completed With that in mind they've gone as short as 7/3 for the Ibrox side to not lose a game at home next season. Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: 'Following Russell Martin's appointment as the new Rangers boss, we go 7/4 that he makes Ibrox a fortress next season and goes unbeaten at home in the league. 'We've priced up some specials for the Scotsman's first season in charge, including 7/2 about him to win both home league games against Celtic – which would surely get the fans on his side. 'The Gers are 2/1 to win the league, with Celtic our current favourites at 4/11. The two will face off four times in the league this season and a clean sweep for Rangers is 40/1." Rangers 2025/26 #YourOdds (William Hill) Rangers to win the league 2/1 Rangers to go unbeaten in all 19 home league games 7/4 Rangers to win both home league games versus Celtic 7/2 Rangers to score at least one goal in each of their 38 Scottish Premiership games 9/2 Rangers to remain unbeaten in All four league games versus Celtic 5/1 Rangers to win all 19 Scottish Premiership home games 20/1 Rangers to go unbeaten in the Scottish Premiership 25/1 Rangers to win all 4 league games versus Celtic 40/1 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
